Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan power otot lengan dan kemampuan servis atas pada peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 5 Model Lubuklinggau. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasi sederhana. Populasi adalah seluruh seluruh peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli berjumlah 24 orang yang terdiri 12 orang putra dan 12 orang putri. Sedangkan penarikan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling yaitu peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli putra berjumlah 12 orang. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes two-hand medicine ball put untuk variabel independen (X) dan Tes servis atas bola voli untuk variabel dependen (Y). Analisis data menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS versi 23 dengan langkah-langkah menyusun tabel distribusi frekuensi, uji normalitas, dan uji Bivariate Correlations Two-tailed. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai Significance (2-tailed) 0,004 < 0,05 atau nilai rhitung > rtabel = 0,760 > 0,576. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan kata lain terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel power otot lengan dan kemampuan servis atas pada peserta ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMP Negeri 5 Model Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of Pragmatics teaching materials based on experiential learning. The method used is an experiment with a pretest-posttest design with control group research design. Data collection uses interviews and tests. The research population was students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, semester III of the 2023/2024 academic year who took Pragmatics. The samples in the research were classes A and B. Research sampling was carried out using the intact group technique which resulted in class A as the experimental class and class B as the control class. Data analysis techniques to determine the effectiveness of experiential learning-based Pragmatics teaching materials are carried out by analyzing pretest and posttest class learning outcomes using N-gain scores. Next, to determine the increase in language politeness in the control and experimental classes, a t-test was carried out using the SPSS program. The calculation obtained is that if the sig(2-tailed) value is <0.05, it can be said that students' language politeness has increased, there is a difference in the average language politeness of the experimental and control classes. The research results show that Pragmatics teaching materials based on experiential learning to improve students' language politeness based on the n-gain score and n-gain score percent are effective to use. Based on the independent samples test output table, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, thus there is a significant difference in effectiveness in the control and experimental classes after using Pragmatics teaching materials based on experiential learning. So it can be concluded that students' language politeness increases after using Pragmatics teaching materials based on experiential learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This thesis is entitled "The Effectiveness of Image Media on the Ability to Write Persuasive Texts in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau". The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class VIII, totaling 148 students and the sample in this study was class VIII.4. randomly selected 28 students. Analysis of the data used in this study using the "t" test. based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out with the SPSS Version 20 application, the "t" test data obtained with a value of (12,229) by looking at the Sig (2-tailed) of 0.000 and seen from the confidence level or 0.05 So the Sig (2-tailed) data is smaller than the confidence level (0.000 < 0.05), it can be stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Image Media is Effective for Improving the Ability to Write Persuasive Texts in Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 11 Lubuklinggau.
