Abstract

Salah satu indikator dari keandalan sistem distribusi tenaga adalah ketahanan kelangsungan pasokan listrik kepada konsumen. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem yang mampu dalam melakukan tugas pengawasan dan pengendalian kinerja sistem distribusi tenaga secara real-time dan berbasis komputer. Sistem itu berarti kriteria yang disebutkan sebelumnya adalah sistem SCADA (Supervisory Control dan Data Acquisition). Sistem SCADA yang telah terintegrasi ke sistem distribusi listrik memiliki kemampuan untuk meminimalkan disturbanced yang memiliki implikasi pada indeks keandalan jaringan distribusi listrik. Beberapa parameter indeks keandalan jaringan distribusi listrik adalah nilai SAIDI (Sistem Average Interruption Duration Index), nilai SAIFI (Indeks Frekuensi Sistem rata Gangguan), dan nilai CAIDI (Pelanggan rata-Gangguan Duration Index). Yang lebih kecil dari indeks nilai, lebih dapat diandalkan dari kinerja sistem. Untuk memaksimalkan keandalan listrik jaringan distribusi listrik yang terintegrasi dengan sistem SCADA, infrastruktur pendukung sistem harus peduli. Ini berarti bahwa peralatan listrik di jaringan distribusi yang terintegrasi dengan sistem SCADA harus memiliki synchonization akurat, kemampuan untuk remote control, dan dapat dipantau dan contorlled secara real-time Kata kunci: SCADA, SAIDI, SAIFI, CAIDI and Index of Power System Distribution Reliabilty

Abstract

Abstract Installation of security devices using sensors detectors continuous to grow. Making security system using Passive Infrared censor as the detector can be the right choice. This study formulates the problem Passive Infrared sensor how to work, and can detect the movement and how to utilize a Passive Infrared censor as a security tool room that triggered the short message service for Mobile, which then activates the lights and alarms. The purpose of this research is to investigate how the sensor Passive Infrared detector as a tool and how to use a Passive Infrared sensor as a security tool room that triggered SMS to Mobile, turn on the lights and alarms. The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on the experimental and the author makes a security system using passive infrared censor and short message service as a security tool room by utilizing the output voltage of 5 volts DC output passive infrared which is then processed by a microcontroller and microcontroller ordered wavecom modem to send short message service after the command is executed then the microcontroller triggers TIP 31 transistor to activate the relay so the lights and the alarm is active.   Keywords: Security, censors, Passive Infrared, Short Message Service Detectors, and Mobile

Abstract

pH and temperature measuring system devices based on SMS gateway is a measurement tool that communicates with the provider, so it can be used to monitor the pH level and temperature of the water in the distance. It works by using a pH sensor and a temperature detector. pH and temperature measuring devices based on SMS gateway can measure the pH level of the water with a scale between pH 0 to pH 14, whereas for temperature, it can be measured with a scale between -100C up to 1000C. To create this system, it is needed wavecom modem for making a communication with the provider, the pH and temperature sensor as a detector, and ATMega 128 as a controller. This systems is programmed by using Delphi 7 ​​and micropascal application. It is designed during this study a pH and temperature measuring instrument based on SMS gateway and SMS (Short Message Service) as a medium for transferring the information through a long distances. Measurement data can be viewed directly in the LCD of the pH and temperature module. Moreover, it can also be viewed remotely via a PC connected to the modem wavecom and on a mobile phone .   Keywords: pH Sensor , Temperature Sensor , SMS (Short Message Service) Gateway .

Abstract

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a tool for identifying objects using radio waves. RFID reader consists of a reader and a tag as the object is read. This technology is efficiently used in the manual library UNTAD as library card for its use without having direct contact (Contacless). Results of identification RFID reader in the form of a unique series of numbers. RFID reader is connected directly to a PC via a USB cable (Universal Serial Bus), so that the identification appear on the LCD monitor screen. The identification result is managed by the application that is made from Visual Basic 6 with GUI (grapichal User Interface) that simple connected in Acess 2007 database so that the library data is stored properly. Microcontroller ATMega8535 serves as a voice recorder module controller ISD 1820 remind visitors to fill out the list of visitors of the PIR sensor detection results when there are visitors who come in and as recipients visitor data contained in the application is then displayed on the LCD 2x16. From the combination of these technologies can overcome UNTAD library system is still manual because it produces a rapid and accurate data.

Abstract

Washer and dryer hand automatic system is one of the few applications of control systems. Research on control system washer and dryer hand automatic is aimed to know the working principle and how to implement sensors Passive Infra Red (PIR) as detection sensors, microcontroller ATMega32 as the main controller and Selenoid Valve, Dryer and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) as an output device into a system that can be controlled automatically so that the activities of hand washing and drying can be done easily and practically. This research conducted with qualitative methods based on experiment which will be designed a washing system and automatic hand dryer using a PIR sensor-based microcontroller ATMega32. Washer and dryer hand automated system operate based on reaction Passive Infra Red sensor (PIR) on the human body, namely the hands of users. If one of the three mode buttons have been pressed and the user's hand is detected by the PIR sensors located around the faucet then the sensor will provide a response to the microcontroller to manage the data that will instruct the output device to work automatically.

Abstract

The Development of engine control system continues to be done because it is very important .Control system is done in various ways, especially in industries such as to monitor the liquid level in the tank using a variety of sensors. Manufacture of control systems based on Human Machine Interface can be the right choice for controlling the tool or machine located in basic electronics laboratories of Department of Electrical Engineering Tadulako.This study formulates the problem how to design the look of Human Machine Interface to control water level so it can be applied to the basic process of feedback and control rig 38-100 servo valve to regulate the flow of water by utilizing IC 0808 DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) as a tool to convert digital data into analog and then processed by microcontroller ATmega 128 which will control the servo valve .The method used in this study is a qualitative method based on experiments and the results is displayed by combining between HMI Software and Delphi. Reading of level is done at output current 4-20mA using potentiometer 250 Ω and complex circuit. Reading results in analog data wchich is used to Control Servo Valve.
