Abstract

The problem of determining distribution routes can be categorized as Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP). TSP is a search for a sequence of locations where a salesman travels from the initial location to a list of locations which must be passed. Each location can only be visited once and ends at the initial location of departure. This study aims to resolve the problem of determining the distribution route for mineral water products at PT. Anugerah Wina Sentosa by implementing the Ant Colony System (ACS) algorithm to conduct route searches. The ACS algorithm is an algorithm adopted from the behavior of ants to determine the shortest route from the nest to the food source. Based on the research, the results of the ACS algorithm show that the greater the case to be resolved will affect the system execution time but still can produce the best distance route. The success of this algorithm is influenced by the determination of the value of the ACS parameter, namely ?, qo, q, ?, ?, the number of ants and the number of ant cycles determined by analyzing the TSP case to be resolved.

Abstract

Calculating the number of visitor, in a place or room is not easy. In line, it also occurs when we want to count the number of visitors in library. To know whether the number of visitor in library increases or not, the researcher formulated system that was used to count the visitor. It was Haar Like Features method. This method was used to count the number of visitor in library in a day. In this study, Haar Like Features method was implemented to detect human as object. Beacuse of that, it had function as human object ditector and visotor ditector. By using this method, the librarians felt easier when they counted the visitor in a day. They also could calculate whether the number of visitor in library increased or not.

Abstract

Scheduling lectures is a very important activity to do because all teaching and learning activities depend on the schedule so that it must be done correctly in order not to interfere the teaching and learning activities between lecturers and students. This study aims to implement the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm to create a scheduling system for the lectures at the Information Technology Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University which can facilitate the scheduling process of the lectures and can produce optimal schedules. The scheduling system made will follow the rules and policies which are applied at Tadulako University. The Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm can be used for scheduling system for the lectures at the Information Technology Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tadulako University, although it cannot yet produce an optimal solution because there are still soft constraints that are violated. The best combination of parameter values in the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm, namely the parameter value w = 0.7, c1 = 1.5, c2 = 1.5 with a successful schedule made with a fitness value of 0.034 with execution time (214).

Abstract

At Anutapura Palu General Hospital (Hospital) Anutapura Palu to perform stadium detection still using Ms.Excel application with the result of detection is still manually input, to overcome the problem the author aims to make data mining applications to detect the stage of HIV / AIDS by applying Naive Bayes algorithm with output / output result of stadium 1, stadium 2, stadium 3 and stadium 4. The research data was obtained at Anutapura Palu General Hospital (RSU) from 305 HIV / AIDS patients. Existing data were analyzed using Naive Bayes algorithm and using 11 features. Naive Bayes aims to classify data in a particular class, then the pattern can be used to determine the level of stadium suffered by HIV / AIDS patients.

Abstract

Tadulako University is the largest tertiary institution in Central Sulawesi and every year new students are registered to Tadulako University comes from inside and outside Central Sulawesi Province. Prospective students from various regions certainly many are looking for information on the campus area, especially in the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tadulako through existing media. Seeing this, the authors conducted a research aiming to make a digital mapping of the Tadulako University Faculty of Engineering based on the Geographic Information System (GIS) application using the website, and at the same time giving directions to the location of the room using 360-degree photos and how to utilize the Tadulako University Faculty of Engineering Mapping for determine the location on the website. The method used is to use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the results of the study that the author found is using the HyperText Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and JavaScript and retrieve data from 360 degrees as many as 245 photo locations in each Department of Engineering at the University of Tadulako with 1-time taking photos requires 40 times the taking of 360-degree objects with a distance between one room with another so that it connects the existing mapping at the Department of Engineering, Tadulako University using the website.

Abstract

Information Systems is an essential requirement for every company or government agency. Included in the Air Force Academy in Yogyakarta, information systems becomes an important component in the system run. Among them is the Stationery Office Management System that has a very high complexity.ATK management system requirements in the Air Force Academy Yogyakarta is needed. Because the extent of management systems that run. So management needs ATK becomes very important. Due to a very large nominal amount if calculated in the long term in accordance with the procurement conducted. This is to reduce errors in the recording which was done manually. Development method makes the system using the waterfall is running ssuai sisem needs. So the rate of change and improvement that occurred in the system will run continuously.

Abstract

This study design controls a robotic arm is a robotic transfer of goods which have five degrees of freedom by using a system of point-topoint programming, the robot is quite necessary in the industrial world today, because it can be programmed back so that makes the robot to be flexible in working out various things. The design of this arm robot control system using the computer as a data processor with PPI-8255 interface and parallel port (LPT1). Robot software system designed to control the robot to do a certain task is instructed via keybord. Control of motor rotation in the robot is done through software on personal computers and the robot is designed to be controlled manually or automatically using the program Delphi 7.0.

Abstract

In electrical engineering technology, especially information technology today can be applied to all areas of life. In this rapid technological developments, information technology can be utilized as a means of information for the primary electrical distribution channels in the form of a geographic information system making it easier for users of the system to determine thecondition of the electrical distribution channel. This study uses a program that comes with ArcView Avenue script programming to implement a geographic information system primary electrical distribution channels in the city of Palu using digital maps. Geographic information system designedand fabricated in this study proved capable of displaying all the information on the primary electrical distributionchannels in which the data taken from the PT. PLN (Persero) rayon branch of Palu city.

Abstract

In this study, the algorithm used is Prim’s algorithm—an algorithm in graph theory to seek a minimum spanning tree for a weighted connected graph. The program used is a program created with Delphi 7 programming language used for searching the minimum spanning tree of a graph model with the weight of each form of distance/length connecting the points/vertices. Then display the information search process sequence of minimum spanning tree, the total number of minimum length and the resulting computing time to determine the efficiency of Prim’s algorithm. Based on the results of research, Prim's algorithm computation time in finding the minimum spanning tree of a weighted graph will grow up along with increasing thenumber of points/vertices and the number of sides of the weighted graph.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the software using both Delphi 7 and ArcView GIS 3.3 programming languagewhich is able to apply Prim's algorithm in obtaining the time complexity used to calculate the cability of computer inexecuting the command. This study not only compares two pieces of software built by the authors but also compares the cability of two computers that each have different specifications. It has been proven that the software generated in this study can be utilized to get the complexity of time by using Prim’salgorithm which is used to calculate the ability of computer in executing the command. The software can also accuratelydisplay the minimum spanning tree as a result of applying the Prim's algorithm. The capability of computer is examined in terms of the accuracy and speed in executing the commands. The examination result shows that the capability of the first computer specifications is higher than the capability of the second computer specifications in applying the Prim's algorithm. The other result found in this study shows that the computation time software built in Delphi 7 is faster than the computation time software built in ArcView GIS 3.3. This result indicates that in terms of applying the Prim's algorithm, the software built in Delphi 7 is more efficient than the software built in ArcView GIS 3.3.
