Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini untuk memotret perilaku sosial masyarakat Bengkulu terhadap penggunaan media sosial sebagai diseminasi informasi, bimbingan pribadi-sosial dan deradikasisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2020 di provinsi Bengkulu. Sampel berjumlah 400 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skema mobile survey, melalui proses deep interview dan kuisioner via mobile. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi survey (alvara-analytic). Hasil kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh temuan (1) Masyarakat melek digital, potret sikap dan perilaku masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa mereka aktif menggunakan media sosial sebagai sarana berbagi informasi melalui pemanfaatan fitur-fitur yang ada untuk menyebarkan informasi; (2) Penggunaan dan diseminasi media sosial efektif dapat membimbing masyarakat (pribadi-sosial) terhadap pembentukan sikap dan perilaku dalam cegah tangkal paham radikalisme. Kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh kesimpulan indeks potensi radikalisme di Provinsi Bengkulu pada tahun 2020 berada dalam kategori rendah, hal ini menandai bahwa masyarakat mampu dengan baik menggunakan media sosial sebagai deradikalisasi. The purpose of this community service is to photograph the social behavior of the Bengkulu people towards the use of social media as information dissemination, personal-social guidance and deradicalization. This service activity was carried out in 2020 in Bengkulu province. The research sample amounted to 400 respondents. Data collection uses a mobile survey scheme, through a deep interview process and questionnaires via mobile. Data analysis using survey application (alvara-analytic). The results of the service activities obtained findings: (1) Digital literacy communities, portraits of people's attitudes and behavior indicate that they are actively using social media as a means of sharing information through the use of existing features to disseminate information; (2) The effective use and dissemination of social media can guide the community (personal-social) towards the formation of attitudes and behavior in preventing radicalism. The service activities concluded that the index of potential for radicalism in Bengkulu Province in 2020 was in the low category, this indicates that the community is able to properly use social media as deradicalization.

Abstract

Cooperative learning of Team Games Tournament (TGT) with numbered media card is one of teaching method that can be applied to biology. The objectives of this research were to describe the activities of teacher, activities of student student, and result student learning with apply cooperative learning model of Team Games Tournament (TGT). This was a classroom action research (CAR) with quantitative descriptive method and the subjects of this research were biology teachers and 34 students of SMAN 4 class XF Bengkulu city. The instrument used in this research was the observation and test sheets. Data collected were analyzed by calculating the average and specifies the range of values ​​for each criterion, while the test of data analyzed calculating the average value of the class and percentage of completeness classical learning. Results of data analysis observation of the teacher activity first cycle obtained to score of 34.5 with good criteria, then increased in the second cycle to 38 with good criteria. The activity of students in the first cycle obtained score of 34.5 with good criteria, then increased in the second cycle to 37 with good criteria. The student learning results the first cycle of 73.55% with incomplete criteria then increased in the second cycle to be 88.23% with complete criteria. This applied model of learning type TGT could upgrade the activities of teacher, activities of student, and the learning results of Biology students class XF SMAN 4 Bengkulu City. Abstract

This study aims to inventory and classify fish diversity in the Bengkulu traditional market. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The data obtained were tabulated and analyzed descriptively, then a literature study was conducted for identification. Sample collection was carried out using the exploration method by tracking every trader selling fish in the market. The results showed that there were 55 fish species belonging to 43 genera, 31 families and 9 orders. In conclusion, the order Perciformes with the family Carangidae and the Genus Lutjanus is the most common group of fish found in the Bengkulu traditional market. Abstract

Plantae merupakan salah satu materi Biologi kelas X SMA/MA yang erat kaitannya dengan tumbuhan yang ada disekitar lingkungan peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil kelayakan booklet materi Plantae kelas X berdasarkan studi etnobotani bumbu dan rempah yang dimanfaatkan pada masakan masyarakat Suku Lembak di Desa Pulau Panggung. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pedoman wawancara dan lembar angket. Uji kelayakan booklet dilakukan oleh validator ahli media, ahli materi dan dua ahli praktisi serta uji keterbacaan dilakukan oleh 20 peserta didik kelas X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kelayakan booklet dari ahli materi diperoleh 96,5% tergolong sangat baik; (2) kelayakan booklet dari ahli media diperoleh 89,5% tergolong sangat baik; (3) kelayakan booklet dari ahli praktisi diperoleh rata-rata 96,1% dengan  kategori sangat baik, (4) uji keterbacaan oleh peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata 98,75% tergolong sangat baik sehingga booklet yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dan dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif sebagai media pembelajaran biologi khususnya pada materi Plantae kelas X SMA/MA oleh guru dan peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemanfaatan virtual lab sebagai alternatif praktikum di sekolah yang fasilitas laboratoriumnya terbatas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design dan Development. Lab virtual ini dirancang menggunakan aplikasi Articulate Storyline 3. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner. Kelayakan laboratorium virtual ini dinilai oleh ahli komunikasi, ahli materi dan ahli praktisi, aboratorium virtual ini dirancang berdasarkan analisis program dan kebutuhan dan terdiri dari 31 halaman. Desain yang dihasilkan hadir dalam bentuk aplikasi (APK) dan versi HTML yang dapat diakses melalui smartphone Android dan browser Google Chrome. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan dari berbagai ahli yaitu ahli materi 93,18% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, ahli media 91 % dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, dan ahli praktisi 90,90% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Hasil dari uji kelayakan berbagai ahli menunjukkan nilai 91,69% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”, hal ini menunjukkan media layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Uji praktik dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan masukan dari siswa SMA yang memberikan hasil sangat positif dengan skor 90,85 dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa laboratorium virtual yang dikembangkan sangat cocok untuk digunakan di kelas dan bermanfaat bagi siswa.

Abstract

The Kaur Regency Lagoon Beach is home to a diverse range of macroalgae, presenting an opportunity for various applications. Among these, the development of educational materials, such as booklets for macroalgae identification, stands out. This research aims to catalog the types of macroalgae at Laguna Beach, Kaur Regency, evaluate the suitability of a macroalgae identification-based booklet as educational material for tenth-grade Protista content, and assess the booklet's readability among students. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach, macroalgae samples were collected using the cruising method along the shoreline of Laguna Beach. The booklet's effectiveness was validated by media and material experts, as well as two practitioner experts, while its readability was tested with 20 tenth-grade students from SMAN 5 Kaur. The study identified 16 macroalgae species at Laguna Beach, classified into 3 divisions, 9 orders, and 11 families. Specifically, it found 9 Chlorophyta division species (green algae), 2 Rhodophyta division species (red algae), and 5 Phaeophyta division species (brown algae). The booklet validation yielded an average approval rating of 96.34%, categorizing it as 'very good.' The student readability assessment also rated the booklet highly, with a 93.1% approval rate, further supporting its 'very good' classification.
