Abstract

This article contains the results of service regarding village library management training for youth in Binor village, Paiton sub-district, Probolinggo district, East Java. The existence of a village library next to the mosque with ample parking is a good opportunity for the village library to optimize library management. The educated young people of Binor village also have the potential to develop human resources in making a more real contribution to their village in supporting the human development index (HDI), both in educational, cultural, religious and other aspects. In the educational aspect, young people from Karang Taruna can be optimized to support the reading and writing literacy program in optimizing the management of the 'Rohiqul Ilmi' village library in Binor village, but not all village youth are interested and interested in optimizing the village library. This is the reason for the Nurul Jadid University student service carried out between August and October 2023 which is focused on supporting the village library management program. This service uses the participatory action research (PAR) method, to collect data, analyze problems, formulate solutions, and implement corrective actions. The result; (1) Service takes place synergistically in the same paradigm by reviewing relevant literature in the concept of village library management; (2) establishing a stronger partnership with the involvement of the Nurul Jadid University community in encouraging village youth to be aware of literacy; and (3) supporting the National Library program in creating Indonesian reading ambassadors (DBI) in the regions, especially through the Binor village library, Paiton.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the communication patterns of librarians to users of the 'Rohiqul Ilmi' Library, Binor Village, Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency. Library staff must carry out library management and services optimally so that the library becomes a place that is more appreciated by users. Each librarian has different communication patterns according to their characteristics and personality traits. What is the librarian's communication pattern like in serving users of the 'Rohiqul Ilmi' village library in Binor village, Paiton, Probolinggo? This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, between August and October 2023, all data collected from observation, interviews and documentation was analyzed descriptively within the interdisciplinary communication science paradigm. The results of the research state two important things, namely: (1) the communication patterns of Rohiqul Ilmi' village library librarians tend to be passive and less interactive. They tend to accept and implement activities proposed or mandated by policy makers to be implemented in village libraries, such as great parent activities, implementation of KKN and others; (2) assertive communication patterns are also the choice of librarians in serving users of the 'Rohiqul Ilmi village library. When librarians convey their opinions or ideas, they do not appear to offend other people or partners, either verbally or non-verbally, such as with a smile and thumbs up to show silent agreement.

More and more thrive linguic a society, then language of propaganda should more and more fleksibel and dynamic that easy be understood. Therefore, preachers intelligent will read in deep and detail to needs object preaching, It is good while be in structural position or cultural. Through metodologi kualitatif, this write will try describe about language of propaganda structural-cultural preachers in perspective Dramaturgi. Through study character preachers da’i -Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin al Habsyi in Probolinggo City east Java, this research conclude that language propaganda Habib Hadi bin Muhammad al Habsyi in the field political organic and society organic be delivered in verbal and non verbal. The message of verbal with language-language propaganda form word that good (qoulun ma’rufun) and form word that correct (qoulon sadidun). While the message non verbal be delivered in nonverbal visual form the message proksemic and the message kinesic. While propaganda that do through field art, social culture through language verbal with word that cool and soft (Qoulun Layyinun) and word that correct (Qoulun Sadidun) and word that good (Qoulun Ma’rufun).

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengatasi keterbatasan akses literasi keagamaan santri tunanetra melalui pengembangan audio-book keagamaan dan penyediaan kitab Braille di Pesantren Inklusi Sabilillah, Probolinggo. Latar belakang program berangkat dari minimnya bahan ajar mandiri bagi 11 santri tunanetra yang selama ini bergantung penuh pada transmisi lisan guru serta keterbatasan mushaf Braille. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), meliputi produksi 10 judul audio-book, distribusi kitab Braille, pelatihan guru, serta pendampingan penggunaan media. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan literasi keagamaan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata sebesar 39,36%, peningkatan kemandirian belajar pada 81,8% santri, serta tingkat adopsi media oleh guru sebesar 80%. Kepuasan pengguna sangat baik (santri 4,44; guru 4,60 dari skala 5). Program ini membuktikan bahwa teknologi asistif yang terintegrasi dengan pendekatan pemberdayaan komunitas efektif memperkuat pembelajaran agama inklusif. Kesimpulannya, inovasi audio-Braille berkontribusi nyata terhadap pemerataan akses pendidikan keagamaan dan layak direplikasi pada pesantren inklusi lainnya.
