Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kompetensi sosial guru dalam prpses pembelajaran sehingga siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kompetensi Sosial Guru dengan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Kelas V SD Gugus III. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan membagikan angket kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kompetensi sosial guru dengan motivasi belajar siswa SD Gugus III dengan nilai (5,19287) lebih besar (>) nilai   (1,65694) yang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi sosial guru akan berdampak terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dari kesimpulan tersebut, maka dampak yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa kompetensi sosial guru akan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study with a correlation design which aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and the learning independence of fifth grade students of SD Cluster III, Majaleng District, Wajo Regency. The population in this study were the fifth grade students of SD Cluster III, Majaleng District, Wajo Regency with 62 students. The data was collected by using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that the democratic type of parenting was the most widely used parenting category by parents, as many as 30 students with a percentage of 48.3, students' learning independence had an average of 94.43 and a percentage of 87.44. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, the t-valuecount(17.40382) is greater (>) the t-valuetable(9.48773) at the 5% significance level. Thus Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of the study, it was concluded that there was a significant relationship between attention to parenting patterns and the learning independence of fifth grade students at SD Gugus III, Majuleng District, Wajo Regency.

Abstract

The main problem that is considered in this study, is the quality of education is not determined by a single factor, namely student learning outcomes which are a reflection of learning effort, the better the learning effort, the better the results achieved. Good learning outcomes will be achieved if they can overcome the learning difficulties they experience, but there are a number of variables that influence each other. This type of research is ex-post facto causality. The population in this study were elementary students of Mitra PGSD Bone. Data were collected through 54 selected samples using cluster random sampling techniques. This study aims to: (1) To find a picture of self-efficacy, (2) To find out and explain the relationship of self-efficacy to students' social studies learning achievement. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that: (1) Most elementary students had: self-efficacy in the medium category, and social studies learning outcomes in the moderate category; (2) Self-efficacy has a significant relationship with students' social studies learning achievement. Conclusions, if students' self-efficacy continues to be improved will have an impact on learning outcomes that are even better and can make adjustments in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the application of fraction block media on the addition and subtraction of fractions material in class IV UPT SDN 18 Turatea, (2) find out the description of students' arithmetic ability using fraction block media, and (3) find out the effect of fraction block media on students' arithmetic ability on the addition and subtraction of fractions material. This study is included in the category of experimental research with a quantitative approach and uses pre-experimental design research (nondesigns) with a one sample pretest-posttest type. The population of this study was all students of class IV UPT SDN 18 Turatea, with a sample of 19 students selected through saturated sampling techniques. Data were collected using observation sheets to determine the implementation of fraction block media, student arithmetic ability tests and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and inferentially. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the implementation of the learning process using fraction block media was in the good category at the first meeting and very good at the second meeting. While for students, the percentage of the implementation of the learning process at both meetings was included in the very good category. Inferential analysis using paired sample t-test showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest results. This indicates an increase in students' arithmetic ability after being given treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process using fractional block media runs very well, (2) The description of students' arithmetic ability shows an increase after using fractional block media, shown from the results of the posttest which is higher than the pretest and (3) there is an influence of the use of fractional block media on students' arithmetic ability on the addition and subtraction of fractions material for class IV UPT SDN 18 Turatea.

Abstract

This study aims to (1). determine the application of the Learning Trajectory approach in elementary schools, (2). determine the description of elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and (3). the effect of the Learning Trajectory approach on elementary school students' understanding of mathematical concepts. This study is included in experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research design used in this study is Quasi Experiment with a nonequivalent control group design type. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of UPT SD Inpres Karunrung, Makassar City. The sample in this study was 40 students selected through purposive sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were observation of implementation by teachers, students, and concept understanding tests. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the percentage of implementation of the learning process using the learning trajectory approach on teachers was in the good category at the first meeting and the second meeting with a very good category. The results of the inferential analysis using the independent sample t-test showed a difference in posttest results between the experimental class and the control class. This indicates a difference in students' understanding of mathematical concepts after being given treatment. So it can be concluded that: (1) the learning process using the learning trajectory approach went well, (2) the results of the student tests showed differences in students' understanding of mathematical concepts in learning, (3) there was a significant influence on the application of the learning trajectory approach on the understanding of mathematical concepts of class IV students at UPT SD Inpres Karunrung, Makassar City.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) know the description of the application of quantum learning learning models in mathematics (2) know the description of students' critical thinking skills, and (3) knowing the effect of the application of the quantum learning learning model on the critical thinking skills of students in the class of class V mathematics subjects SD Negeri Maccini 2 Makassar City. The approach in this study is quantitative with the type of quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The population and sample in this study were all grade students of Maccini 2 SD Negeri Makassar City with a total of 50 students based on saturated sampling techniques. The data in this study were collected using documentation, observation sheets and objective tests given before and after the implementation of learning. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of descriptive analysis show that the application of the Quantum Learning learning model at Meeting I was running effectively and at the meeting II was very effective. The results of inferential analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test show that there are differences in posttest results between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that there is an increase in critical thinking skills of mathematics students in the experimental group. so it can be concluded that: (1) The learning process by applying the Quantum Learning learning model takes place very well, (2) Student test results show an increase in the critical thinking ability of students in mathematics in learning, (3) there is a significant influence on the application of the Quantum learning model Learning on the critical thinking skills of Mathematics students in class V SD Negeri Maccini 2 Makassar City.

Abstract

This research is descriptive research using qualitative methods. This research aims to describe students' creative mathematical thinking abilities including indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality and detail in solving flat shape problems. This research used 20 subjects grouped into 3 subjects. The selection of research subjects was based on the acquisition of creative thinking ability test scores, namely high, medium and low scores, which then selected one student each to be used as research subjects. Meanwhile, the object of research is the answer sheet on the results of students' creative thinking ability tests guided by interview guidelines. The results of this research show that (1) on the fluency indicator, the three subjects were able to fulfill the indicators indicated by the ability to give a variety of correct and appropriate answers. (2) on the flexibility indicator, only two subjects were able to provide different methods but still produce the same results. (3) on the original indicator, it can be seen that on three questions there were two subjects who gave unusual answers and produced correct final scores. (4) on the elaboration indicator only two subjects were able to provide detailed answers and provide logical reasons for each steps to solve the problem. The conclusions in this research are (1) students' mathematical creative thinking abilities are still relatively low. (2) Based on the data obtained, the indicators that are still low are flexibility and originality. (3) factors that influence the low ability to think creatively are forgetfulness, rarely practicing, teachers rarely giving assignments, not daring to try new things.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD Negeri Pampang, Kota Makassar. Adapun rumusan masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimanakah penerapan metode guide reading dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II di SD Negeri Pampang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dengan menerapkan metode guide reading yang terstruktur dan berpusat pada bimbingan guru. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Arikunto. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas II SD Negeri Pampang tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta tes membaca permulaan. Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 35,48% dan masih berada pada kategori rendah. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan tindakan pada siklus II, ketuntasan klasikal meningkat menjadi 71%, yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode guide reading efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II di SD Negeri Pampang, Kota Makassar.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low understanding of mathematics concepts of grade II students in addition and subtraction of integers, as well as the lack of student involvement in the learning process. This research aims to improve the understanding of mathematical concepts through the application of Panjurang (Addition and Subtraction Board) media. The type of research used is Class Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 20 students of grade II UPT SPF SD Inpres Ikip Campus. Measurement of concept comprehension refers to the classic Bloom Taxonomy of Comprehension (C2) level, which includes translation, interpretation, and extrapolation abilities because all three aspects are relevant to assessing students' understanding of symbols, meanings, and patterns in computational operations. In Cycle I, the results of observations showed that the learning process from both the teacher and student side and the learning outcomes were still in the category of adequate. After improvements were made in Cycle II, there was a significant improvement in all aspects, namely the learning process from the teacher's side, the learning process from the student side, and learning outcomes, increasing to the good category. This increase is characterized by more active student involvement, more optimal use of Panjurang media, and increased student learning completeness. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Panjurang media is effective in improving the understanding of mathematics concepts of grade II students in addition and subtraction materials. Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) the effect of using Educaplay media on the English learning outcomes (specifically vocabulary mastery) of fifth-grade students at SDN 24 Pakkanna in Wajo Regency, and 2) the perceptions of fifth-grade students at SDN 24 Pakkanna regarding the use of Educaplay media in English learning. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental design using the Nonequivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population and sample in this study consisted of 40 fifth-grade students, with class V B (20 students) as the experimental class and class V A (20 students) as the control class selected through purposive sampling. The intervention in the experimental class was carried out over three treatment sessions. The data collection techniques used tests, questionnaires, and documentation with descriptive and inferential data analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis of the questionnaire showed that students' perceptions of the use of Educaplay media in English learning were in the very good (85%) and good (15%) categories. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, p < 0.001 is smaller than α = 0.05 using an independent sample t-test, which shows that H₀ is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there is a significant difference in learning outcomes between the class receiving treatment using Educaplay media and the class not receiving the same treatment. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using Educaplay media on the English learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 24 Pakkanna, as well as very good perceptions from the majority of students.
