Abstract

Some problems that can be formulated based on the disclosed background are: (1) Lack of media used in delivering material by classroom teachers. (2) The need for additional learning media. (3) In learning at this school the teacher is still focused on using handbooks, namely thematic books. (4) There are still many students who do not understand and respond during learning. (5) The TTS media has not yet been developed. This research is a research development or Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model development method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) which aims to develop learning tools. The population and sample were 39 students, then divided into three groups. In individual groups of 3 students, in small groups 9 students and limited groups of 27 students. This study uses the instrument that is interviews, observations and questionnaires. Then the research technique uses qualitative and quantitative data types. The results and discussion of the research to develop TTS media for fifth grade students at SDN 004 Meral, it can be concluded that: (1) In the results of the validation of the material expert's response to the feasibility of the content of the TTS media, that is, it is in accordance with the sub-components that get the average results. score 4.65. (2) The results of the validation of the media expert's response to the feasibility of the content of the TTS media are in accordance with the sub-components which get an average score of 4.3 in the very feasible category. (3) On the results of the validation of the homeroom teacher's responses for class V A, VB, VC SDN 004 Meral, it was stated that the TTS media to be developed had an average overall score of 4.01 which means it is feasible. (4) From the results of individual trials, small group trials and limited group trials by class V odd semesters at SDN 004 Meral, they have obtained appropriate criteria with an average score of 4.16. Abstract

The problem in this study is that science learning outcomes are still low, especially the material on Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun. This study aims to determine the effect of using the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun. This type of research used in research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach. The population in this study were all students of class III SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun, totaling 68 students. The sampling technique used is saturated samples. The sample in this study were 34 students of class IIIb with a direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and 34 students of class IIIA Cooperative Learning Type Stad (Student Teams Achievement Division). The instrument used in this study was an objective test with 20 questions. The data analysis technique was carried out by statistical tests using the t test Based on data analysis, it can be seen that: 1) There is a significant effect of the use of the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun Academic Year 2016/2017, with tcount 5 .79 > ttable 2.03. 2) There is a significant influence of the use of the Stad Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun in the 2016/2017 Academic Year, with tcount 6.21 > ttable 2.03. Significant Influence of the use of the direct learning model (Rirect Instruction) and the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) on Science Learning Outcomes Material Characteristics of Living Things and the Needs of Living Things in Class III Students of SD Negeri 002 Tebing Karimun academic year 2016/2017, with tcount 3.14 > ttable 1.995

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara pada tanggal 1 Juli s/d 31 Agustus 2021 dengan tiga guru kelas V SDN 003 Meral, ditemukan permasalahan pada pembelajaran IPA yaitu rata-rata nilai semester siswa belum mencapai hasil di atas KKM,siswa kurang fokus dalam memperhatikan penjelasan dari guru, banyak siswa yang sibuk sendiri ketika pembelajaran berlangsung, sumber belajar kurang lengkap (buku paket), sarana dan prasarana di kelas kurang memadai (alat peraga), dan nilai rata-rata Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) masih terdapat siswa yang tidak tuntas dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 70. Rendahnya pemahaman konsep IPA ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor,yaitu model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum inovatif sehingga mengakibatkan kejenuhan pada siswa dalam belajar dan berkurangnya minat siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan (action research). Pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus berdasarkan model Kemmis Taggart. Menurut model Kemmis & McTaggart, melakukan penelitian tindakan melibatkan empat langkah yaitu; perumusan masalah dan perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan pemantauan/pemantauan, refleksi pengamatan, dan modifikasi/modifikasi rencana untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning kelas kelas V SD Negeri 003 Meral TA 2022-2023 Tg. Balai Karimun mengalami peningkatan. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 46,2 % pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 73,1% pada siklus II. Di samping itu nilai rata-rata siswa pada siklus I sebesar 61,15 meningkat menjadi 76,35 pada siklus II. Peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif ini belum mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian, yang diharapkan sebesar 75% mencapai ketuntasan klasikal minimal. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siswa ranah afektif pada siklus II semua termasuk dalam kategori tinggi sebesar 100%, hasil belajar afektif sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian yang diharapkan.
