Abstract

The high public interest in the tourism sector can be implemented because of the cultural trend of photos/videos on social media as a form of self-actualization in cyberspace. The high public interest in the tourism sector, apart from having good impacts, such as an increase in the local community's economy, is also the impact of various bad impacts. One of the bad impacts that arise is the problem of waste. The PUPR Ministry through the Perkim Research and Development Center is trying to solve the waste problem by building 3R TPS in several locations, one of which is in Gunungpring Tourism Village, Magelang. After the development of waste processing technology like this, of course, it needs management from local institutions. In terms of technology management, TPS 3R is handed over to KSM Berkah, which is the Bumdes in Guunungpring Village. After being managed for one year, evaluation effort was made to see the alignment between development goals and results in the field. The results of the evaluation found that there were still some management mismatches, starting from the quality and quantity of management personnel, management, financial management, and the need for facilities and infrastructure in the management process. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe educational problems of children of Indonesian migrant workers who attend the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School (SIKK) generally revolve around the problem of them not continuing their education to graduate level. This happens because they do not have university references and limited access to information to be able to continue their studies. More SIKK students come from Eastern Indonesia, specifically South and West Sulawesi. This encourages community service groups to carry out community service programs in Kinabalu City, Malaysia. This activity needs to be carried out to increase public knowledge, especially children of Indonesian migrant workers, about the importance of continuing their studies at university and to provide information about scholarship services. The service process is carried out in 3 stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. This activity went smoothly and was well received by the Indonesian Consulate General in Kinabalu City, SIKK and the Children of Indonesian Migrant Workers

Abstract

Abstract

Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) or Village -Owned Enterprises have emerged as a strategic policy instrument for empowering rural communities through participatory economic management. This study examined collaborative arrangements between the village government and community members in managing traditional rice fields (sawah adat) under the BUMDes framework in Tubo Selatan Village, and explored how these arrangements fostered social solidarity. Historically, sawah adat functioned as a non-monetary compensation mechanism for village officials; however, it has evolved into a collective economic initiative that redistributes benefits and strengthens community welfare. By using a qualitative case study design , the research investigates interaction patterns, collaborat ive roles, and solidarity values embedded in the sawah adat –based BUMDes model. Twelve informants were selected purposively from government actors, BUMDes administrators, and farming communities. Data were gathered through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and were examined using a structured process of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing within the framework of collaborative governance theory. Findings indicate that collaboration is institutionalized through transparent registration mechanisms, shared decision -making, and a proportional distribution of harvest yields between farmers and the BUMDes. The governance model ensures fair benefit - sharing, reinforces mutual responsibility, and sustains the cultural value of gotong royong. Moreover, deliberative processes grounded in accountability enhance trust, reduce conflict, and facilitate sustained cooperation. The management of traditional rice fields therefore functions not only as an economic driver but also as a catalyst for strengthening collective identity and social cohesion within the rural community.
