Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of STEAM based learning on critical thinking skills (HOTS) in children aged 5-6 years at kindergarten District Ngajum Malang Regency. This research is categorized as quantitative research which is using Quasi Experimental research design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research was conducted in group B at RA Diponegoro and TK Bhayangkari. The research data are collected using observation and documentation technique. Data were analyzed using statistical analysis by Anova with SPSS 21.0 for Windows. This research results show that: (1)  is 361,182 with significant value 0.000 < 0.05, so the hypothesis of STEAM based learning on critical thinking skills (HOTS) in children can be accepted. According this research result, it can be concluded that the effectiveness of STEAM based learning that effect of to critical thinking skills (HOTS) in children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh permainan bola basket angka modifikasi terhadap kemampuan penguasaan konsep bilangan pada anak TK Kelompok B di Kecamatan Ngajum Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola rancangan Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RA Diponegoro dan TK Al-Huda pada anak kelompok B. Data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan uji Anova dengan bantuan SPSS 21.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) nilai  sebesar 362,194 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis permainan bola basket angka modifikasi terhadap kemampuan penguasaan konsep bilangan anak dapat diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan bola basket angka modifikasi berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan penguasaan konsep bilangan anak TK Kelompok B.

Abstract

Polemics of radicalism continue to emerge in early childhood education and radical movements have explored and involved in early childhood. Strengthening moderate Islam in early childhood must be carried out from an early age through educational arrangements that are programmed and adapted to the stages of child development characteristics so that children have moderate values and prevent children from having radical ideas later in life. The purpose of this study was to determine the strength of religious moderation in early childhood as an effort to prevent radicalism during the Covid-19 pandemic. The golden period of early childhood is the most appropriate time to implement the values of religious moderation so that later a strong Islamic foundation is formed in children so that they can ward off radicalism in the future. During this pandemic, learning activities, especially to strengthen understanding of religious moderation in schools, are carried out online or blended learning which is a combination of face-to-face and the use of information technology in implementation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Mile and Huberman model, namely data reduction, display, and verification. The results of this study indicate that strengthening religious moderation in early childhood is an effort to prevent radicalism during the Covid-19 pandemic. The strengthening of religious moderation consists of four components, namely instilling national commitment, tolerance, introducing and preserving local culture, and anti-violence. The strengthening of religious moderation is given so that children have moderate values and are a form of prevention against radicalism in the future.

Abstract

Abstrak Perkembangan bahasa harus di stimulus agar berkembang sesuai tahapannya. Namun, perkembangan bahasa di kelompok B TK Trisakti rendah, hal ini ditunjukkan dari keterampilan anak dalam membaca, menulis, dan berkomunikasi. Maka dari itu peneliti melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak di kelompok B TK Trisakti, melalui program literasi. Kemampuan berbahasa anak diharapkan dapat meningkat melalui program literasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Hoopkins. Subjeknya adalah siswa kelompok B yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sementara teknik analisis data memakai observasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian mendapati hasil yakni terjadi peningkatan keterampilan bahasa, hal ini dilihat dari meningkatnya keterampilan bahasa setiap siklusnya. Saat pra siklus kriteria penilaian tertinggi adalah Belum Berkembang(BB) yakni 82% siswa, sedangkan pada siklus I kriteria penilaian tertinggi adalah Mulai Berkembang(MB) yakni 85% siswa, dan pada siklus II kriteria penilaian tertinggi adalah Berkembang Sangat Baik(BSH) yakni 90% siswa. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa program literasi mampu mengembangkan perkembangan bahasa anak di kelompok B TK Trisakti. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan Bahasa, Literasi, Ana Usia Dini Abstract Language development must be stimulated so that it develops according to its stages. However, language development in group B of Trisakti Kindergarten is low, this can be seen from the children's ability to read, write, and communicate. Therefore, researchers conducted research with the aim of improving the language development of children in group B of Trisakti Kindergarten, through a literacy program. Children's language skills are expected to increase through literacy programs. This research is a classroom action research Hoopkins model. The subjects were group B students, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used observation and tests. The results showed an increase in language development, this can be seen from the increase in language development in each cycle. During the pre-cycle the highest assessment criteria were Undeveloped, namely 82% of students, while in the first cycle the highest assessment criteria was Beginning to Develop, namely 85% of students, and in cycle II the highest assessment criteria was Very Good Development, which was 90% of students. So it was concluded that the literacy program could improve the language development of children in group B of Trisakti Kindergarten. Keywords: Language Development, Literacy, Early Childhood

Abstract

Kecanduan dalam penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini dapat mendorong dan mengganggu laju perkembangan sosial emosional anak. Penelitian ini mencoba mendiskripsikan perkembanagan sosial emosional anak usia dini dalam penggunaan gawai di era digitalisasi. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Adapun lokasi penelitian ini terletak di RA An-Najah I Desa Karduluk Kecamatan Pragaan Kabupaten Sumenep Jawa Timur. Adapun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder. Narasumber yang diwawancarai dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru atau kepala sekolah, orang tua, dan siswa RA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan intensitas penggunaan gawai pada anak usia dini mengalami kecanduan menggunakan gawai untuk selalu digunakan pada setiap harinya. Perkembangan sosial emosional anak didik di RA An-Najah I terbilang baik dan berkembangan karena bentuk emosi yang diketahui dari anak didik mencakup ciri-ciri perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia dini. Adapun dampak penggunaan gawai pada perkembangan sosial emosional anak didik di RA An-Najah I memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan anak yang dimana terdapat hal positif dan negatif bagi perkembangan sosial anak usia dini.
