Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang berhubungan dengan syaraf penutur dalam memproduksi morfem dan penelitian ini tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan fonem-fonem yang diujarkan oleh penutur jadi penelitian ini lebih tepat melakukan pendekatan neuro-morfologi. Teori neuolinguistik yang digunakan adalah teori Ingram, Sastra, dan Johan. Untuk morfologi penulis menggunakan teori Nida. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode Sudaryanto. Metode tersebut adalah metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah simak libat cakap, di sini peneliti terlibat aktif memancing responden bicara sebanyak-banyaknya sehingga data yang dikumpulkan lebih valid. Di sini penulis merekam ujaran-ujaran yang dituturkan oleh responden. Perekaman ini dilakukan secara diam-diam supaya ujaran yang diujarkan itu kelihatan tidak dibuat-buat dan kelihatan asli. Sedangkan untuk maganalisis data ini penulis menggunakan metode distribusi, metode ini dilengkapi oleh teknik bagi unsur langsung yang mengacu pada morfem dan fonem yang diujarkan oleh penutur kemudian teknik yang digunakan adalah: Teknik lesap, Teknik ganti, dan Teknik tambah atau ekspansi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah peristiwa lesap adalah 19%, peristiwa ganti (asimilasi) 69%, dan tambah (ekspansi) 12 %.

Abstract

Introduction in English is an important one to learn. By introduction we can adapt to everyone. This dedication aims to guide children in communicating with the interlocutor. In this service, the devotees find weaknesses in pronunciation and the use of grammar. So it needs to be developed for further. The ability to communicate using English is very important, so from now, we prepare the younger generation to face the future times. If children can communicate in English well then we feel happy and their parents also feel proud. In this occasion, the usage of the English in the students’ school is very seldom, so the devotees try to practice to use English in the every training. Beside that it gives motivation for the students and also to the parents of the students. Using English is not only for the introduction the students but also used in the presentation of the material.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the impoliteness utterance that reflected in literary work, especially in a movie. The data source used in this article is The Wrong Stepmother Movie. This research used the theory of Pragmatic related with impoliteness and Culpeper (2011). The method used in this research is Qualitative method. From the research analysis and finding it can be concluded. All strategies and types of impoliteness are found in “The Wrong Stepmother” movie. These are bald on record impoliteness, positive impoliteness, negative impoliteness, sarcasm, or mock politeness and last withhold politeness. From the findings, there were found strategies that often occurred which is positive impoliteness with the total 13 data or 39%, followed bald on record impoliteness with 7 data or 21%, sarcasm or mock politeness with 7 data or 21%, negative impoliteness with 4 data or 13%, and the last is withhold politeness least used with 2 data or 6%. The types of impoliteness found in this research were also found. These are affective impoliteness with 18 data or 58%, next coercive impoliteness with 7 data or 23%, and last is entertaining impoliteness with 6 data or 19%. The most dominant occurred in strategy impoliteness is positive impoliteness and in types of impoliteness is affective impoliteness.

Abstract

The cost of circumcision which is starting to become unaffordable to the public and coupled with the outbreak of the most frightening virus, namely "covid 19" and also the desire to create a clean and healthy young generation, the devotees intend to hold activities with the intention of sharing with others, namely holding social service activities "Mass Circumcision". This circumcision from a religious point of view is mandatory and also from a medical point of view, it has many benefits including maintaining physical cleanliness and reducing the risk of infection and the educational values ​​contained in it. The method used is the method of mass circumcision in the residential neighborhood of Griya Batu Aji Asri Phases 1,2 and 3, Sungai Langkai Exit, Sagulung sub-district, Batam City. It turns out that circumcision has educational value, for example, basically circumcision teaches children to become adults. From a psychological point of view, the child feels that he is a Muslim and he is obliged to cover his aurat and cannot see the nakedness of others. the educational values ​​contained in circumcision for children's education lies in the important role of parents to do the following: (1) Instill shame in children. (2) Instilling the spirit of masculinity in boys and the spirit of femininity in girls. (3) Separate their beds. (4) Introduce visiting times (ask permission within 3 times). (5) Educate to maintain the cleanliness of the genitals. (6) Introducing the muhrim. (7) Educate children to always keep their eyesight. One of the efforts with the aim that every teenager can perform circumcision is to organize a mass social service circumcision. Moreover, from the practice of mass circumcision it is believed that many young people in Indonesia can be circumcised, so this is achieved to further develop the welfare status and great development of Indonesian children.

Abstract

Perumahan Griya Batu Aji Asri merupakan sebuah tempat si perumahan yang terletak tidak jauh dari kantor walikota Batam. Jaraknya sekitar 16 KM. Perumaha Griya Batu Aji terdiri dari 6 tahapan, yaitu perumahan griya Batau Aji asri Tahap 1 sampai dengan Griya Batu Aji Asri tahap 6. Perumahan Griya Batu Aji Asri tahap 1,2 dan 3 Letaknya satu kawan, dibawah naungan RW 16. RW 16 Ini terdiri dari 11 RT. Rt 06 Merupakan salah satu RT dibawah naungan RW 16 kelurahan Sungai Langkai, Kecamatan Sagulung Kota Batam. RW 16 termasuk salah suatu daerah yang padat penduduknya di Sungai Langkai, Oleh karena itu pengabdi berniat mengadakan kegiatan pendampingan warga Dalam untuk mencegah DBD. Upaya yang dapat kita ambil adalah memberikan penyuluhan dan melaksanakan Fogging di rumah-rumah warga. Selain memberikan penyuluhan cara hidup sehat guna mengantisipasi perkembang biakan nyamuk demam berdarah dengan 3 M. (menguras, mengubur dan menutup) tempat penampungan air)

Abstract

This study aims to explain the lexical forms and how the speech processes are produced by the respondents. This study involved respondents who experienced speech disorders, especially respondents who experienced aphasia. Several things are of particular concern in this research, especially the fading process, then the replacement process. Usually this change process is the most dominant thing in this case study.The next process is the added process, where this process is often also found in speech, sometimes the meaning is lost or meaningless. This study uses references such as the opinion of Sastra, Johan, and many other supporting theories that complement the validity of this research. In the implementation of this research, the method of participatory observation was used in the process of collecting data and completed with baiting techniques to lure respondents to speak. For data analysis, the distribution method is used, in other words, it is called the distribution method which is equipped with several techniques such as deletion, expansion, and replace techniques. From the technique will produce three processes.

Abstract

This research was done with the aim of investigating the flouting maxims types in characters’ utterances. The movie with the title “Enola Holmes” was taken as the data source for this research. The utterances that showed the flouting maxims phenomena were used as the data to be analyzed by researchers. In conducting this research, the researchers took the theory of Grice (1975) to analyze the flouting maxims utterances. Besides, the data were collected through the use of the observational method and non-participatory technique. The collected data then were analyzed by using the pragmatic identity method and pragmatic competence- in equalizing technique. The results discovered there were 16 data of flouting maxims in the movie. 1 data of flouting maxim of manner, 3 data of flouting maxim of quantity, 9 data of flouting maxim of relation, and 3 data of flouting maxim of quality were found in characters’ utterances. The most dominant maxim flouted in the utterances was flouting maxim of relation. It is because when communicating, the characters of the Enola Holmes movie respond irrelevantly to the topic being discussed.

Abstract

Kihon or basic movements are what every karate-ka must learn in practice. This basic movement is a movement where a karateka can start other movements. The purpose of this research is to improve the performance of junior athletes. If the basic movements cannot be carried out properly and correctly, it will have an impact on other movements. If the message to be conveyed is not clear, the students cannot carry out the movement properly. Therefore, a coach must have knowledge in conveying language to his students. The method used in this exercise is the trainer demonstrating basic movements in accordance with basic of the karate standards. Therefore, the coach must be able to communicate with kohai properly and correctly. In addition to linguistics, the trainer must also provide examples of good movement as well. In this exercise the trainer still finds movements that are not adequate in practice, so they need to be corrected and practiced regularly.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to see and follow up on the abilities of the kohais of the Raudhatul Jannah dojo in order to achieve better achievements. Speech act is something that is needed in karate practice, in this case it is not speech to convey messages that need to be carried out by kohai-kohai in practice. If the kohais don't understand the speech conveyed by the trainer, the communication between the trainer and the kohai cannot work. Karate is a martial art where a trainer has a target in the training. The failure or success of the coach can be seen from the success of his students. Kohai-kohai dojo Raudhatul Jannah still cannot compete with athletes from around  Batam because their training schedule is very minimal. The method used in this service is for the servant to directly train and improve the kohai-kohai technique and get results that still need to be repaired and trained.

Abstract

Bahasa Minang adalah bahasa sehari-sehari yang digunakan oleh orang Minang dalam berkomunikasi setiap harinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peristiwa-peristiwa tutur yang dituturkan oleh orang Minang Kabau yang hidup di Batam dengan adanya proses ini membuat bahasa Minang lebih bervariasi dan terjaga keasliannya. Batam adalah tempat perantauan orang Minang yang berasal dari berbagai wilayayah di Minang Kabau. Penelitian ini juga dapat mengidentifikasi perkembangan bahasa Minang Kabau yang ada di luar wilayah Minang. Terjadinya proses tutur ini, tidak mengurangi nilai-nilai kebahasaan yang dituturkan oleh penutur khususnya orang Minang. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teori Nida dalam Morfologi sedangkan untuk Fonologi peneliti menggunakan teori Pike dan Johan. Untuk mengumpulkan data, peneliti menggunakan metode simak libat cakap. Metode analisis yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode bagi unsur langsung, metode ini adalah metode yang digagas oleh Sudaryanto. Sedangkan hasil yang dicapai adalah terdapat 19 proses variasi. Kata-kata yang mengandung asimilasi seperti: /naɂ makanaŋ?/, /kan ceɂ lu/, /lah makanaŋ?/, /cy pitih lu dy/, /sikᴐ ceɂ/, /strat lah ang lu dy/, /naɂ kuncy/, dan /ñombeɂ waɂ/.
