Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to develop a culture-based tourism village in the Padang Genting Weaving Tourism Village. This research uses a data analysis method in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis, which analyzes data to analyze and interpret facts, symptoms and events that occur in the field, as well as natural observations whose main aim is to observe and also understand the Development of Culture-Based Tourism Villages. at the Padang Genting Weaving Tourism Village. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be stated that the Padang Genting Tourism Village has the opportunity to develop culture-based tourism products. The tourism product is in the form of a series of tourism activities that can be packaged into tour packages. The cultural-based tourism activity in Padang Genting is to provide traditional songket weaving experiences to visitors, both domestic and foreign tourists.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to determine whether there is an effect of price and facilities on the choice of guests who stay. The sample of this study were 98 visitors who visited the Grand Mercure Maha Cipta Medan Angkasa Hotel in April-May 2024, sampling using the accidental sampling method, namely anyone who accidentally meets the researcher can be used as a sample, if it is deemed that the person who happened to be met is suitable as a data source. Data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression tests, while data processing uses SPSS. The results showed that partially price had an effect on staying decision, facilities also had a positive and significant effect on staying decision, while simultaneously price and facilities had a positive and significant effect on staying decision.

Abstract

Masa anak-anak adalah masa yang menyenangkan. Bermain adalah hal yang lumrah untuk anak-anak. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan pada SD Negeri 060929 Medan dengan metode belajar sambil bermain. Dengan metode ini Setelah dilakukan pendekatan dan pengelompokan siswa dalam permainan ini, hasil yang diperoleh yaitu siswa menjadi lebih aktif ketika diajak belajar sambil bermain dan mereka lebih kompak dalam sebuah kelompok dan menjaga kerjasama kelompok masing-masing. Kerjasama dan tanggung jawab setiap siswa semakin terlihat ketika diberi tantangan dan dijanjikan hadiah. Anak-anak lebih ekpresif dan bertanggung jawab atas tugas yang diberikan.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower housewives through the production and sale of natural turmeric-based soap, which has the potential to increase family income. The activity method consists of several stages, including participant recruitment, training in turmeric soap making, and product marketing guidance. Data used included a survey of initial income, soap production levels, and additional income after sales. The results of the activity showed that participants were able to produce good quality soap and earn significant additional income. This activity had a positive impact on the household economy of participants, with an average increase in income of 30%. In addition, this activity also raised awareness of the importance of using natural, environmentally friendly products. These findings support the importance of empowering housewives through innovative products based on natural ingredients, which can serve as a model for economic empowerment programs in other regions
