Abstract

tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh gaya hidup dan lingkungan terhadap prestasi belajar dan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening pada mahasiswa STIM Sukma Medan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 115 orang mahasiswa kelas reguler dan karyawan tahun 2016 sampai tahun 2018, pengambilan sampel menggunakan insidental sampling, adalah teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kebetulan, yaitu siapa saja yang secara kebetulan bertemu peneliti dapat digunakan sebagai sampel, bila dipandang orang yang kebetulan ditemui cocok sebagai sumber data. Analisis data menggunakan uji Regresi Berganda dengan ketepatan model (uji asumsi klasik), pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji koefisien determinasi (R2), uji parsial (uji t), dan uji simultan (uji F), sedangkan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 24. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji koefisien determinasi (R2) variabel gaya hidup dan lingkungan mampu menjelaskan keberadaannya terhadap variabel prestasi, begitu juga dengan variabel gaya hidup, lingkungan dan motivasi mampu menjelaskan keberadaannya pada variabel prestasi, selain itu secara parsial gaya hidup dan lingkungan berpengaruh terdahap prestasi begitu juga gaya hidup dan lingkungan terhadap motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, secara simultan gaya hidup dan lingkungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi begitu juga dengan gaya hidup dan lingkungan terhadap motivasi. Dikarenakan nilai thitung variabel motivasi lebih kecil dari variabel gaya hidup dan lingkungan, maka motivasi tidak dapat menjadi variabel intervening. Hasil pengujian normalitas data diketahui bahwa data telah berdistribusi normal, hasil uji multikolinearitas diketahui nilai VIF dan tolerance pada tabel diatas menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel dalam penelitian ini tidak mengalami multikolinearitas dan hasil pengujian heteroskedastisitas menunjukkan bahwa model regresi bebas dari masalah heteroskedastisitas, dengan perkataan lain variabel-variabel yang akan diuji dalam penelitian ini bersifat homokedastis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat sejauh mana pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan citra perusahaan terhadap kepuasan konsumen. semakin tanggap perusahaan dalam melayani konsumen, maka semakin tinggi pula kepercayaan konsumen terhadap perusahaan yang berakibat pada peningkatan citra perusahaan. Ketika kepercayaan konsumen meningkat, maka akan menghasilkan kepuasan bagi konsumen saat menggunakan produk atau jasa dari perusahaan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di CV. Adrifag Jaya yang bergerak di bidang penjualan, perawatan dan perbaikan produk seperti CCTV, Running Text, Jam Digital dan Mesin Kasir. Dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh sebanyak 40 pelanggan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, citra perusahaan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dan variabel kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan pelanggan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of facilities, spatial arrangement, and employee competence on service quality at Optik Crystal Medan. Employing a quantitative approach with a sample of 42 customers, data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire survey. Multiple linear regression analysis results indicate that facilities, spatial arrangement, and employee competence significantly affect customers' perceptions of service quality. This study provides valuable insights for optician management to enhance infrastructure, spatial design, and employee development to improve customer satisfaction and company competitiveness in the optical industry.

Abstract

The writing of fieldwork reports (PKL) is a crucial skill in vocational education. However, many vocational high school (SMK) students face challenges in producing well-structured and systematic reports. The government's 2019 Vocational Education Revitalization Program aims to enhance the quality of vocational education, including report writing skills. This community service activity was designed to address this issue by providing report-writing training to 10 SMK students in Deli Serdang. The methods used included initial interviews, interactive training, and evaluation sessions focusing on understanding report structure, effective writing techniques, and data presentation. The training results showed a significant improvement in the student's ability to produce PKL reports that meet academic and professional standards. Additionally, the training helped students develop analytical and critical thinking skills, essential for preparing them for the workforce. This program is expected to serve as a reference for educational institutions in designing similar training to enhance students' report writing quality.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of interpersonal communication on employee performance at the LSP UMKM Profesional Indonesia. The research method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, while the analysis method applied is simple linear regression with equation methods. The sample for this study consists of 30 employees, and the sampling technique used is saturated sampling, which is a sampling technique where all members of the population are included as samples. Data analysis was performed using Simple Linear Regression, hypothesis testing was conducted using the coefficient of determination (R²), partial test (t-test), and data processing was done using SPSS 26. The results of this study show that the interpersonal communication variable is able to explain the variation in employee performance. Furthermore, partially, the interpersonal communication variable has a significant effect on employee performance at LSP UMKM Profesional Indonesia. The results of the study indicate a significant and positive effect of interpersonal communication on employee performance. This is demonstrated by the simple linear regression result Y = 10,542+0,710X, with a coefficient of determination of 55%, and the remaining 45% is explained by other factors not included in this regression model. Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to introduce entrepreneurship to children, how to make something and process it and package it as attractive as possible and market it. This is done to introduce children to independence and communication and hone children's creativity. This activity was carried out in June 2023, the participants who attended were 30 children from the neighbourhood of Padang Bulan village. This research method is socialisation and practice. Explaining to children the introduction of tools and ingredients for cooking, making them directly involved in cooking activities. As a result, there were children who only listened and did not participate in the practice, and there were children who were very enthusiastic to be involved in all activities. This activity succeeded in making children to learn new things and hone their creativity, they know how to make delicious and marketable snacks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada PT. Pegasus Reka Industri, Kabupaten Tuban. Kepemimpinan transformasional dianggap sebagai gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, kreativitas, dan kinerja pegawai melalui pengaruh ideal, motivasi inspirasi, stimulasi intelektual, dan perhatian individual. Dan kompensasi sebagai pendukung dianggap variabel yang sangat tepat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan populasi jenuh, melibatkan seluruh pegawai sebagai responden yaitu 30 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala likert dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 23 untuk pengujian uji validitas dan uji realiabilitas. Setelah data dapat teruji kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis menggunakan teknik regesi liner berganda dengan bantuan aplikasi pengolahan data SPSS 23. Dari penelitian didapatkan hasil kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 99,1% terhadap kinerja pegawai di PT. Pegasus Reka Industri. Penelitian ini mendukung temuannya dengan signifikansi nilai 0,00 yang lebih rendah dari 0,05, serta uji t memperlihatkan bahwa nilai thitung 6,635 variabel kepemimpinan transformasional dan 19,882 variabel kompensasi lebih besar dari ttabel 2,048. Hasil ini dapat digunakan oleh pimpinan PT. Pegasus Reka Industri sebagai dasar untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas kinerja perusahaan.

Abstract

Introducing entrepreneurship at an early age will provide children with the knowledge that the goods being sold are not simply made out of thin air. There is a process involved in transforming raw materials into finished goods and calculating the profit from the goods sold. This activity was carried out at the Pondok Tahfiz Qur’an Al Luqman, Riwayat I Road Gg. Tower, Patumbak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The method used in this community service activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR), allowing participants to directly engage in the production process. The aim of this activity is to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in children from an early age and enable them to recognize raw materials that can be processed into marketable products. The target is for children to gain new knowledge about processing raw materials into finished products and how to package them. The outcome of the community service activity is that the children learned about fruit salad processing and how to market their products.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge, skills, and understanding of the children at the orphanage foundation about the importance of disposing of trash properly and reprocessing waste into items that can be reused. To carry out this activity, the demonstration method will be used. Demonstration is a method of presenting lessons by demonstrating to students a particular process, situation, or object, either real or just an imitation. The participants consisted of 30 children of primary and junior high school age. From this community service activity, it can be interpreted that the knowledge and understanding of the children in the orphanage have increased, and their skills and creativity have also developed, so that they have skills from an early age.

Abstract

Community service is the process of implementing knowledge learned in tertiary institutions in order to provide the widest possible benefit to society. One form of service activity is this activity, which aims to foster students' interest in entrepreneurship, which can provide benefits to the community, especially in the environment. Community service activities were carried out at the Ar-Rahman Orphanage in Medan. A series of activities in the form of providing learning motivation, training in entrepreneurship, and providing education in the process of making "Es Lumut" for orphanage children The service at the Ar-Rahman Orphanage has been carried out smoothly, which is marked by the active participation of all parties involved, namely the STIM Sukma Medan campus and the Ar-Rahman Orphanage. Through this service activity, it is hoped that it can help them in entrepreneurship at the orphanage as well as strengthen the sense of brotherhood between educational institutions and social institutions.
