Abstract

This research reviewed Maxwell’s equations and Numerical Discretization using the Finite Difference Time Dependent (FDTD) method. First, Maxwell’s equations are introduced in a linear dielectric medium for 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional configurations, which are built based on the polarization between Transverse-Magnetic (TM) and Transverse-Electric (TE). Then, it presented the frequency-dependent absorption boundary conditions for the electromagnetic field equations used in that configuration. In addition, the correlation between the variation of the grid with respect to the x-axis and y-axis, as well as the variation of the dielectric constant of the medium on the propagation of electromagnetic waves, has been studied in this paper. A numerical result provides an excellent accuration and approximation in establishing boundary conditions for wave spacing in adsorbed media at 1-dimensional and 2-dimensional configurations

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat semikonduktor ZnO yang di doping Cu2+ menggunakan metode sol-gel dengan variasi temperatur kalsinasi 300⁰C, 500 ⁰C dan 700⁰C , menganalisis perbedaan ZnO undoped dan doped Cu2+ dari Cu(CH3COO)2H2O serta menggunakan Zn(CH3COO2)2H2O sebagai prekursor. Sintesis ZnO menggunakan metode sol gel. Penambahan Cu 2+ dengan konsentrasi 3% sebagai bahan doping menghasilkan sol berwarna biru muda dan setelah ditambahkan Diethylamine larutan pada sampel beruah menjadi biru pekat. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil EDS pada suhu 300⁰C konsentrasi berat Zn 82.25% dan O sebesar 17.75%, selanjutnya pada suhu 500⁰C dihasilkan Zn sebesar 72.49% dan O sebesar 27.51%, demikian pula pada 700⁰C dihasilkan Zn senilai 75.11% dan O sebesar 24.89%. Hasil uji SEM-EDS (Energy Dispersion Spectroscopy) komposisi yang didapatkan adalah Zn dan O yang menunjukkan telah terbentuknya senyawa ZnO. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut diperoleh konsentrasi atom Seng (Zn) dan Oksigen (O) semakin besar dengan semakin meningkatnya temperatur kalsinasi. Dengan penambahan Cu dan varriasi temperatur tersebut diharapkan mampu meningkatkan jumlah atom Zn, memperbesar sifat kelistrikan serta memperkecil ukuran partikel

Abstract

Abstract: Garbage is one of the global problems that requires serious which one had to be handled  today,  because it caused environmental and healthy problems. One of the most dominant types in society was plastic waste. The purpose of this activity is to conduct socialization, counseling and direct discussion to the community and the dasawisma group to maintain environmental health and cleanliness, provide training on waste selection techniques, and digital-based integrated management such as "Waste Bank", provide hands-on training on plastic waste processing techniques to produce fuel. oil, empowering community groups in making handicrafts from plastic waste that has economic value, providing training in marketing digital-based handicraft products. This activity uses a direct practice method in the Lopo Village community, involving community groups as activity participants. The creations of this activity have made handicraft products from plastic waste in the form of chairs, tables, flower vases, flowers and tissue holders. In addition, an integrated WhatsApp group was formed in waste management. There was also a prototype of a simple tool for producing fuel oil (BBM). Village officials and the community were very enthusiastic during the implementation of the activity and have collaborated with activity organizers in the development of a fuel-producing destillator.            Keywords: crafts; garbage; integrated management; marketing plastic   Abstrak: Sampah merupakan salah satu masalah global yang memerlukan penanganan serius saat ini karena menyebabkan masalah lingkungan dan kesehatan.  Salah satu jenis sampah yang sangat mendominasi di masayrakat adalah sampah plastik. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah  melakukan sosialisasi, penyuluhan dan diskusi langsung ke masyarakat dan kelompok dasawisma menjaga kesehatan dan kebersihan lingkungan, memberikan pelatihan teknik pemilihan sampah, dan manajemen terintegrasi berbasis digital sejenis “Bank Sampah”, memberikan pelatihan langsung teknik pengolahan sampah plastik untuk menghasilkan bahan bakar minyak, memberdayakan kelompok masyarakat dalam membuat kerajinan tangan dari sampah plastik yang bernilai ekonomi, memberikan pelatihan dalam memasarkan produk kerajinan berbasis digital. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode praktek langsung di masayarakat Desa Lopo, dengan melibatkan kelompok masayarakat sebagai peserta kegiatan. Hasil kreasi dari kegiatan ini telah dibuat produk kerajinan dari sampah plastik berupa tempat kursi, meja, vas bunga, bunga dan tempat tissue. Selain itu, terbentuk grup WhatsApp terintegrasi dalam manajemen sampah.juga prototipe alat sederhana alat penghasil Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM). Perangkat Desa dan masayarakat sangat antusias selama pelaksanaan kegiatan dan telah melakukan kerjasama dengan penyelenggara kegiatan dalam pengembangan destillator penghasil bahan bakar. Kata kunci: kerajinan; manajemen terintegrasi; pemasaran; plastik; sampah

Abstract

Urbanization is the movement of people from villages to cities, this has caused an increase in population growth in urban areas resulting in increased demand for development which has reduced land for green spaces, green roofs are present as a farming concept amidst limited land in urban areas as well as assisting in passive cooling. The process of photosynthesis must play a role in roof shading. The selection of vegetation in the form of passion fruit vines as a roof covering material can spread up to 24 m, the object of research is a house in a housing complex by comparing two rooms, using a vegetation roof cover and without a vegetation roof cover, based on the results obtained a room with a vegetation roof cover experienced a decrease in temperature as the growth of vines covered the roof, the results obtained were a comparison between the two rooms, namely 0.1℃ in January, 1.1℃ in February and 2.6℃ in March when the peak temperature is during the day.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan Pelatihan KIT IPA merupakan program pelatihan yang dapat memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh guru IPA. Permasalahannya adalah masih kurangnya kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan KIT IPA dalam proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan ini bertujuan agar guru-guru dapat memahami dan menerapkan proses pembelajaran menggunakan KIT IPA.Pelatihan ini diharapkan berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektifitas guru dalam menggunakan alat KIT IPA untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum 2013 serta mengatasi kurangnya kemampuan dalam menggunakan KIT IPA menggunakan metode pembelajaran jigsaw. Kegiatan inti yang akan dilaksanakan yakni, Pelatihan Penggunaan Alat KIT IPA Bagi Guru-guru IPA Se-Kecamatan Batudaa dalam Mengimplementasikan Kurikulum 2013, dan kegiatan Mengajar di sekolah. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini dapat menambah lmu dan kemampuan guru-guru Kecamatan Batudaa dalam mengimplementasikan penggunaan KIT IPA di sekolah. Kata kunci: efektifitas; guru; kemampuan; KIT IPA; kurikulum ABSTRACTThe Science Set Tools Training Activity is a training program that can provide solutions to the main problems faced by science teachers. Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi stunting pada anak usia dini di desa Kayu Bulan Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan mengolah bahan baku sagu menjadi makanan balita. Program KKN Tematik ini berupa pelatihan transformasi bahan baku sagu (Metroxylon sagu) menjadi barang olahan desa unggulan yang bernilai ekonomis. Di Indonesia, sagu merupakan salah satu tanaman pangan yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber karbohidrat. Karena berbagai keuntungannya sebagai pengganti makanan dan karbohidrat, sagu memberikan peluang yang sangat baik untuk pengembangan produk. Selain itu, budidaya sagu sederhana, memaksimalkan potensinya. Namun, penggunaan sagu masih belum memerlukan perbaikan. Sebagian besar sagu dikonsumsi sebagai bahan tambahan pangan pada makanan ringan seperti bubur dan kue sagu. Aneka olahan bisa dibuat dari sagu. Oleh sebab itu, pengembangan pengolahan lebih lanjut menjadi makanan balita diperlukan untuk mengatasi stunting pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

The cylinder liner is a tube that protects the piston and is a place for the combustion process. The combustion process causes continuous friction to make the cylinder liner wear out. Therefore the cylinder liner must be made of materials that have high hardness. To obtain a high hardness level, surface treatment with DC sputtering techniques is carried out. Surface treatment with DC sputtering technique for 120 minutes with variations of Argon gas and Nitrogen gas 70:30, 80:20, and 90:10. Based on the XRD test results, all treated samples contained a WN layer. The crystal structure of the raw material samples is hexagonal, and the crystal structure of all processed samples is cubic. Vickers hardness characterization shows that the raw material is 110.93 HV. While the sample treated with Ar70:N30 was 234.66 HV. The optimum hardness occurred in samples treated with Ar80:N20 with a hardness of 311.87 HV. However, the Ar90:N10 treatment experienced a decrease in hardness to 130.44 HV. Based on the results of thin film testing, WN affects the increase in the hardness of the cylinder liner material. This is evidenced by the increase in hardness in samples coated with WN.
