Abstract

This study aims to determine what the roles of parents are in accompanying children during the distance learning process during the Covid 19 pandemic at Ciparigi Village, Bogor City. The method used is a case study through online interviews with thematic analysis on 5 parents. The results show that the role of parents is needed in the distance learning process. In general, the role of parents during distance learning, in addition to being a substitute for teachers at home, parents also act as facilitators, motivators, guides for children, and guide children to achieve success of learning in pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) obtain data on the understanding of the science of recitation of the santri at the Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School Cibungbulang, Bogor Regency; 2) obtaining data on the ability to memorize the Al-Quran of Santri at Al-Hidayah Islamic Boarding School Cibungbulang, Bogor Regency; 3) find out the correlation between the understanding of tajwid and the ability to memorize Al-Quran of students at the Al-Hidayah Islamic boarding school, Cibungbulang, Bogor Regency. The total research population is 100 people. Samples were taken using a simple random sample technique of 30 respondents. The research approach uses quantitative methods. The technique of collecting data used a written test and a practical test. Data analysis technique, to determine the correlation of variable X (understanding of tajwid science) with variable Y (ability to memorize Al-Quran) using Pearson Product Moment correlation test technique. The calculated r index is 0.703, which is greater than r table = 0.361, which is significant. This means that the understanding of tajwid has a correlation with the ability to memorize the Qur'an. The KD index (Determinant Coefficient) is 49.42% which indicates that the X variable (understanding of recitation science) contributes 42.12% to the Y variable (the ability to memorize the Quran), and the remaining 50.58% is determined by other factors . Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of learning media development in Civics lessons in high school. This development research using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The resulting product is a video-based learning media on Civics subjects at SMA Citra Nusa Cibinong. This media was developed through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The media component developed is a learning video based on the main theme that is adjusted to the core competencies and basic competencies in the syllabus for Civics subjects. All of these learning videos are implemented through a project based learning learning system, with the following learning steps: Opening the lesson with a challenging question (start with the big question), Planning a project (design a plan for the project), Arranging an activity schedule (create a schedule), Supervise the course of the project (monitor the students and the progress of the project), Assessment of the resulting product (assess the outcome), Evaluation (evaluate the experience). At the end of the learning process, the Civics teacher and students reflect on the activities and results of the projects that have been carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students at MIS Yapis Al Falah, Bojonggede District. This study used a pre-experimental method with a pre-post test design, while the sample of this study consisted of 15 grade V students. The results showed that there was an effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) method on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students as seen from the results of the grades. sig 0.000 <0.05 so also obtained tcount = 7.897 while t table = 2.14. Then t count> ttable (-7,897> 2.14) and it can be concluded that there is an influence between the STAD method on the Mathematics learning outcomes of class V students at MIS Yapis Al Falah.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality of teacher performance at SMA Negeri Cilamaya. Performance analysis using SWOT technique. From the SWOT analysis activities at SMA Negeri 1 Cilamaya, it can be concluded that the formulation of strategic management at SMA Negeri 1 Cilamaya is in the good category. This can be seen in the results of the analysis, although it shows that SMA Negeri 1 Cilamaya is in quadrant II. This position signifies a strong organization but faces great challenges. The strategic recommendation given is Strategy Diversification, meaning that the organization is in a stable condition but faces a number of severe challenges, so it is estimated that the wheels of the organization will have difficulty continuing to spin if it only relies on the previous strategy. Therefore, organizations are advised to immediately increase their variety of tactical strategies. Keywords: quality, SWOT, Teacher performance

Abstract

The university library is an information center for students and lecturers in the academic community. In carrying out its role in providing services to users, libraries must be able to develop and improve the quality of libraries for users. To find out how far the library is going well or not, the library must evaluate it by analyzing the quality of the library using the SWOT method. This method can find out how big the role of the library in improving quality. This quality improvement plays a very important role for the library. So that the realization of a quality and standardized library in accordance with the standards of a university library. SWOT analysis includes internal and external factors which can measure the progress and age of a library. This study maps the external environmental factors and the library's internal environment, where the external factors in question are threats or opportunities that can be obtained by the current library for the development process. In addition, internal factors are the strengths and weaknesses of the library. Based on the SWOT matrix, internal strength factors have a high point with a value of 4 which is very good, for weaknesses it has a value of 3 which is good and external factors opportunity has a value of 4 which is very good and threats have a value of 3 which is good, thus it can be seen SWOT position in the growth quadrant on the internal factor rating of 3.5 and the growth quadrant position on the external factor rating of 3.5. Abstract

This study aims to describe the role and participation of school committees in realizing quality schools. This research is a library research and content analysis (content analysis). This study produced the following findings: 1. Role of Advisory. In carrying out this role, the school committee has the function of providing input and recommendations to education units regarding: (1) educational policies and programs (2). School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBS), (3). educational unit performance criteria (4). educational staff criteria (5). criteria for educational facilities (6). other matters related to education. 2. Supporting Role (Supporting). This supporting role includes the function of the school committee to do the following: (1). encourage parents and the community to participate in education (2). raise public funds in the framework of financing (3). encourage the growth of public attention and commitment to the implementation of quality education. 3. Controlling Role (Controlling). This controlling role includes the efforts of the school committee in the following: (1). evaluate and supervise program policies, implementation, and educational outputs. 4. Role of Mediator. This mediator role enables the school committee to carry out the following functions: (1). collaborate with the community (2). accommodate and analyze aspirations, ideas, demands, and various educational needs put forward by the community. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the character-based children's literature discussion method in improving the learning outcomes of Fourth Grade Indonesian Language students at MI Al Amanah, Cibinong, Bogor Regency. The research method used is a class action research model of Kemmis and Mc Taggart's action model. The research procedure was carried out in two cycles and four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of the study concluded that (1) The application of the character-based children's literature discussion method at MI Al Amanah, Cibinong, Bogor Regency can increase student learning activities in Indonesian language subjects. The increase in the listening aspect was 6.82%, the communication aspect was 15.91%, and the participation aspect was 6.82%. (2) The learning outcomes of Fourth Grade Students at MI Al Amanah, Cibinong, Bogor Regency have increased by 65%. (3) There is an enchancement of the application of the character-based children's literature discussion method on improving the learning outcomes of Fourth Grade Indonesian students at MI Al Amanah, Cibinong, Bogor Regency. Cycle I reached 45.45% of students completed, and in cycle II reached 100% of students completed. Thus, there is an increase of 54.55%.

Abstract

The interest in pursuing higher education is influenced by various factors, including promotional activities conducted by universities and the academic facilities offered. This study aims to analyze the effects of promotions and facilities on the interest in higher education at the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Ibn Khaldun University (UIKA) Bogor, and examine whether promotions and facilities collectively influence the interest in higher education. The research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The population comprises active students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, UIKA Bogor, with a sample of 75 respondents. The findings indicate that both promotions and facilities significantly and collectively influence the interest in higher education by 63.7%. Facilities have a greater influence, with each 1% increase in facilities leading to a 49.2% increase in the interest in higher education. Meanwhile, each 1% increase in promotions increases the interest in higher education by 29.3%.

Abstract

Madrasahs as educational institutions play a very important role in the character building of students. Madrasahs are responsible for the moral education of students and more so than other educational institutions. Madrasah is a place to provide moral and moral education, not just a place to learn science. The purpose of the research conducted was to reveal the Role of Madrasahs in Shaping the Character of Grade IV Students to Face the Digital Age at MI Al Mu'awanah Cibinong Bogor. The method used in this research is qualitative research and data collection is done by means of observation, interviews, documentation While data collection is done by collecting primary and secondary data in the field. The results showed that 1) Madrasah already has a vision to create a generation that is intellectually intelligent, and also noble and adaptive to technological developments and a mission to improve the ability to use information and communication technology (ICT) to support the learning process of teachers and students in schools. 2) Madrasah shape students' character by teaching digital literacy to students so that they can navigate the digital world intelligently and critically, and avoid negative content 3) Madrasah shape students' character by explaining to students about the negative impact of gadget addiction and directing students to make a schedule for gadget use and interesting alternative activities such as sports, arts, or traditional games and extracurricular programs.
