Abstract

Students use private vehicles with the aim of making it easier to mobilize from their residence to the University Campus environment. This influences the intensity of motorists in the university area to be high, so quality road infrastructure is needed so that students can drive comfortably and safely. One way to develop quality road infrastructure is by installing paving blocks. Generally, apart from installation on university roads, paving blocks are installed on sidewalks, pedestrians, parking areas, even in hotel and factory areas. Apart from roads, parking areas also need to be planned using paving. The ease of installation and costs required are considered cheaper and meet the aesthetic aspect because they have various shapes, making the use of paving blocks increasingly popular. The use of paving blocks as road pavement and parking areas is also needed in the Tunas Pembangunan Surakarata University environment. The conventional method of making paving blocks is done using a block tool with a compaction load that affects the energy of the person doing the work. The materials used in making paving blocks are Portland Cement, sand (old/paving waste), and water. In this research, 6 samples were made, with a ratio of 1:3. After 14 days, a press test of the paving was carried out and it was discovered that the new paving (recycled) had a strength of more than K-200 , so it could be used for roads and parking in the UTP Surakarta campus area.. Abstract

The Cost Budget Plan (RAB) is an important step in a project because it is a reference for making an agreement on the payment method and calculation framework that will be announced as well as the estimated costs required. This study aims to compare and obtain more efficient estimation results according to Contractor based on the SNI method. Data collection method used in this final study is by using Secondary data, namely by collecting information on labor and material prices from the Contractor, as well as from the SNI Guidelines. Based on the results of this study, the amount of the RAB for the PMI Boyolali Building Construction Project if based on the price of the implementing contractor for the construction is Rp. 4,431,436,659. Furthermore, RAB amount for the PMI Boyolali Building Project Construction if calculated using the Boyolali Regency unit price analysis in 2023 is Rp. 4,613,231,520. And the work that has a large difference between RAB for Implementation Costs in the PMI Boyolali Building Construction Work and the RAB based on the Boyolali Regency AHSP 2023 is the highest deviation compared to other work descriptions, namely having a total difference of -Rp. 94,935,992.04, namely in the job description: concrete work (structural), concrete work (non-structural), wall work, plastering work, ceramic and floor work, and sanitation work

Abstract

The Nganjuk-Madiun highway is a national road that connects the provincial capitals of East Java and Central Java. Therefore, the road is quite potential for traffic flow movements that have a fairly high accident rate. This analysis is used to determine and analyze the causal factors, characteristics, locations of accident-prone areas (blackspots), conditions of accident-prone areas (blackspots), and preventive measures that can be taken. The methods used in this analysis are the AEK (Accident Equivalent Number) method and the Upper Control Limit Method. Primary data is data on the geometric condition of the road, while secondary data is the number, time, location, day, class of victims, and type of vehicle obtained from the Nganjuk Police Traffic Unit in 2019 - 2023. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of accidents based on the location of the most segments occurred in 2019 in segment 1 as many as 15, based on the time of the incident, namely at 06.01-07.00 WIB as many as 12 incidents, based on the class of victims, namely minor injuries (LR) as many as 93 victims, based on the type of vehicle, namely motorcycles as many as 63. Accident-prone areas on the Nganjuk-Madiun highway, Bagor District for 5 years (2019-2023) are in segment 3 with an AEK value of 314 and a UCL value of 302.68. Efforts that can be made to prevent accidents include installing traffic warning signs, adding road markings, repairing street lights, and adding road noise tape.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan struktur gedung olahraga dan gedung serba guna di Desa Pacalan, Kabupaten Magetan, sebagai upaya mendukung fasilitas sosial yang aman dan fungsional bagi masyarakat setempat. Pemilihan topik ini didasari oleh kebutuhan pentingnya fasilitas yang dapat menunjang kegiatan olahraga dan sosial masyarakat desa yang selama ini belum terpenuhi secara optimal. Metode pengabdian meliputi analisis struktur menggunakan perangkat lunak SAP2000 dengan penerapan material beton mutu K250 dan baja tulangan BjTS420, serta partisipasi aktif perangkat desa dan masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah desain struktur gedung yang memenuhi standar keamanan dan efisiensi konstruksi, sekaligus transfer pengetahuan teknis kepada masyarakat untuk pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam peningkatan kualitas sarana fasilitas desa serta memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat dalam pembangunan infrastruktur lokal.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia di bidang konstruksi dapat dicetak sejak jenjang pendidikan menengah kejuruan, khususnya melalui siswa-siswi SMK dengan kejuruan berbasis konstruksi. Kabupaten Klaten memiliki lima SMK yang fokus pada bidang ini, dua di antaranya adalah SMK Negeri 2 Klaten dan SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Klaten Utara. Meskipun memiliki potensi besar dalam bidang teknik dan manajemen proyek, masih banyak siswa yang belum memiliki pemahaman profesional dalam pengelolaan proyek. Untuk itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berbasis edukasi dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan manajemen proyek, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia konstruksi di Kabupaten Klaten. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada Januari 2025, diikuti oleh siswa kelas XI jurusan DPIB dan TKBB dari kedua sekolah tersebut, dengan total peserta 105 siswa. Materi pelatihan meliputi pengenalan proyek, manajemen proyek, serta kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja (K3). Kegiatan ini mencakup pre-test, penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, quiz, dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan proyek konstruksi secara profesional dan aman.
