Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure and linguistic features of explanatory texts found in the November 2025 edition of Lampung Geh News. The analysis is conducted based on the importance of explanatory texts in presenting information clearly, systematically, and accurately so that readers can understand the phenomena being reported. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with document analysis techniques applied to selected news articles containing explanatory elements. The results reveal that the explanatory texts in Lampung Geh News fulfill the essential structural components of explanatory writing, namely the identification of phenomena, a sequence of events, and a concluding interpretation. In terms of linguistic features, the texts consistently use chronological and causal conjunctions, action verbs, general nouns, and technical terms relevant to disaster-related phenomena. However, the study also identifies several sections that could be improved, particularly in terms of sentence coherence, to enhance the clarity and flow of information. Overall, the explanatory texts in Lampung Geh News are systematically structured and adhere to the characteristics of explanatory writing, successfully providing readers with clear, informative, and comprehensible explanations of the reported events.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi teks prosedur melalui pemanfaatan media video infografis animasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN Sidodadi Asri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model spiral yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung ketuntasan ketuntasan hasil belajar individu sesuai KKTP pada kurikulum Merdeka , ketuntasan belajar klasikal, serta persentase peningkatan hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik setelah diterapkannya media video infografis animasi. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 71% pada siklus I menjadi 86% pada siklus II, sedangkan aktivitas peserta didik meningkat dari 60% menjadi 82%. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal juga mengalami peningkatan dari 13,6% pada siklus I menjadi 81,8% pada siklus II, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat dari 52 menjadi 75. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video infografis animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi teks prosedur.Kata kunci: video infografis animasi, teks prosedur, hasil belajar, penelitian tindakan kelas, Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of Digital Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on the anecdote text writing skills of high school students at SMA Perintis, by examining the direct and indirect mediating roles of digital literacy and critical thinking skills. This study employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory method through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The research sample consisted of 120 tenth-grade students of SMA Perintis Bandar Lampung, selected using a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire (for Digital PjBL, digital literacy, and critical thinking variables) and a performance test in writing anecdote texts evaluated using an analytical rubric. The data analysis results demonstrate that: (1) Digital PjBL has a direct, positive, and significant effect on anecdote text writing skills, (2) Digital PjBL significantly accelerates students' digital literacy and critical thinking skills, and (3) structural path analysis proves that digital literacy and critical thinking partially mediate the effect of Digital PjBL on anecdote text writing skills. Between the two mediators, critical thinking skills were found to have the most dominant total effect on writing quality. The novelty of this study proves that digital project-based task interventions require simultaneous support from cognitive capacity (critical thinking) and technical competence (digital literacy) to produce anecdote manuscripts that are structurally complete and contextually sharp in social critique.
