Abstract

Sleep quality is a person's satisfaction related to sleep activity that does not show feelings of tiredness, restlessness, lethargy and frequent yawning. Sleep quality in adulthood is different from other ages because it is influenced by activities such as work or college. Learning motivation is the tendency of students to learn in order to achieve optimal results. One of the factors that influences learning motivation is sleep quality. This study aims to determine the correlation between sleep quality and learning motivation of Nursing students at Universitas 'Aisyiyah Yogyakarta. The study was conducted on February 2-5, 2025 with 88 respondents from 711 populations using proportional random sampling techniques. Data were collected through the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire for sleep patterns and the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) for learning motivation. The Kendall Tau test showed a correlation coefficient value (r = 0.308) and a P-value of 0.004 (sig <0.05), which means that there is a significant correlation between sleep quality and learning motivation. The results of this study indicate that the better the sleep quality, the higher the student's learning motivation. Researchers recommend further researches into developing technology-based solutions, such as sleep and study schedule reminder apps, to help students improve their sleep patterns and study motivation.

Abstract

Stunting, sebagai permasalahan gizi kronis, menjadi fokus perhatian di sejumlah negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia. Anak-anak dapat mencapai potensi pertumbuhan optimal jika dibesarkan dalam lingkungan yang sehat dan para pengasuhnya mengikuti praktik kesehatan, gizi, dan perawatan yang dianjurkan. Stunting menjadi permasalahan gizi yang rawan menyebabkan gangguan psikologis orang tua (Ibu). Tujuan PKM ini adalah membantu pemberdayaan kelompok ibu swabantu stunting dengan program KISS Moyudan , mengembangkan panduan gizi tidak hanya terkait jenis menu tetapi juga cara pengolahan yang benar dan penyajian yang sehat untuk mengoptimalkan penyerapan gizi anak, melatih pola asuh dan manajemen stress sehingga peran dan ketahanan Ibu lebih optimal, dan menfasilitasi penataan lingkungan sekolah anak yang sehat dan mendukung atmosfir positif untuk anak dan orang tua. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). Metode ini sebagai bentuk upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat (empowerment) dan  partisipasi masyarakat  (community  participation) yaitu kelompok swabantu Ibu balita stunting binaan Majelis Kesehatan Aisyiyah Moyudan sejumlah 25 orang. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dihadiri oleh 25 peserta yang terdiri dari dari 6 Ibu dengan gizi balita baik sebagai kader Ibu Swabantu stunting, 12 Ibu dengan balita stunting, 6 pengurus Majelis Kesehatan Moyudan dan 1 Pengelola KB Ananda. Peserta antusias dalam menyimak materi, diskusi, dan membrakterkkan langsung konseling dengan sesama ibu  balita stunting. Terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menangai stunting sebesar 73% dalam hal pengenalan masalah gizi, kemampuan mengolah gizi, kemampuan manajemen emosi, dan perencanaan menu berbasis pangan lokal. Kegiatan ini meningkatkan produktifitas peran Ibu sebagai kelompok pendukung dan meningkatkan kemampuan Ibu dalam mengelola masalah stunting.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents are vulnerable to sleep disturbances due to biological changes during puberty and increasing exposure to digital devices. Gadget use is often associated with poor sleep patterns however, previous findings remain inconsistent, indicating that sleep problems among adolescents may be influenced by multiple factors. Purpose: To examine the relationship between gadget use and sleep patterns among seventh-grade students. Method: This study used a quantitative descriptive-correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 86 seventh-grade students selected using a purposive sampling method. Data were collected using the Smartphone Addiction Scale-Short Version (SAS-SV) to assess gadget use and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to evaluate sleep patterns. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of 0.05. Results: A total of 54.7% of students reported high levels of gadget use, while 91.9% reported poor sleep patterns. Statistical analysis showed no significant association between gadget use and sleep patterns (p = 0.352; OR = 0.454; 95% CI 0.083-2.481). Conclusion: Gadget use was not significantly associated with sleep patterns among seventh-grade students.   Keywords: Adolescents;  Gadget Use; Sleep Pattern; Smartphone, Students.   Pendahuluan: Remaja rentan mengalami gangguan tidur akibat perubahan biologis selama masa pubertas dan paparan yang semakin meningkat terhadap perangkat digital. Penggunaan gadget sering dikaitkan dengan pola tidur yang buruk namun, temuan sebelumnya masih tidak konsisten, menunjukkan bahwa masalah tidur pada remaja mungkin dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Tujuan: Untuk mengkaji hubungan antara penggunaan gadget dan pola tidur di kalangan siswa kelas VII. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif korelatif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 86 siswa kelas tujuh yang dipilih menggunakan metode sampling purposif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Skala Kecanduan Smartphone Versi Pendek (SAS-SV) untuk menilai penggunaan gadget dan Indeks Kualitas Tidur Pittsburgh (PSQI) untuk mengevaluasi pola tidur. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat signifikansi 0.05. Hasil: Sebanyak 54.7% siswa memiliki tingkat penggunaan gadget yang tinggi, sementara 91.9% mengalami pola tidur yang buruk. Analisis statistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan gadget dan pola tidur (p = 0.352; OR = 0.454; 95% CI 0.083-2.481). Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a chronic medical condition that requires attention because it can contribute to organ damage and the risk of serious health complications. Hypertension increases the risk of serious illnesses such as stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, and other organ damage. Diet plays a significant role in blood pressure management and cardiovascular health, with a high glycemic index being a major risk factor for hypertension. Purpose: To determine the relationship between dietary habits and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly. Method: This study used a correlational study design with a cross-sectional approach. The research instrument consisted of a dietary questionnaire containing 24 statements and blood pressure measurements. The subjects were elderly people aged 60 years and older. This study was conducted in a hamlet in Nogotirto. The total population was 45 elderly people with hypertension registered at the Elderly Integrated Health Post (Posyandu Lansia) using a total sampling technique. Results: The majority of respondents (30 respondents) had non-compliant dietary habits, and the majority (24 respondents) had stage II hypertension. Conclusion: There is a relationship between dietary habits and the incidence of hypertension in the elderly.   Keywords: Diet; Elderly; Hypertension.   Pendahuluan: Hipertensi adalah kondisi medis kronis yang membutuhkan perhatian karena dapat berkontribusi terhadap kerusakan organ dan risiko komplikasi kesehatan yang serius. Hipertensi meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit serius seperti stroke, serangan jantung, gagal ginjal, dan kerusakan organ lainnya. Pola makan memiliki kontribusi paling besar dalam pengelolaan tekanan darah dan kesehatan kardiovaskular dengan indeks glikemik tinggi merupakan faktor utama hipertensi. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia. Metode: Desain penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner tentang pola makan berisi 24 pernyataan dan pengukuran tekanan darah. Subyek penelitian yaitu lansia yang berusia ≥ 60 tahun. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu padukuhan di Nogotirto dengan total populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia hipertensi yang tercatat di Posyandu Lansia sebanyak 45 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Hasil: Sebagian besar resonden memiliki pola makan tidak patuh sebanyak 30 orang (66,7%) dan sebagian besar responden mengalami hipertensi derajat II sebanyak 24 orang (53,3%). Simpulan: Ada hubungan pola makan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada lansia.   Kata Kunci: Hipertensi; Lansia; Pola Makan.

Abstract

Healthcare professionals are responsible for providing quality services, but their role is still not optimal, which can lead to medical errors. Therefore, collaborative practice is important for being able to provide effective and efficient services. This study aims to assess and compare interprofessional collaboration competencies among different healthcare professionals at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital. This is quantitative research used an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The Instrument Interprofessional Collaborative Competency Attainment Survey (ICCAS) was distributed to 113 respondents consisting of 26 doctors, 79 nurses, and 8 pharmacists who were selected randomly using cluster sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression tests and chi-square tests. The results of the research show that the average percentage of interprofessional collaboration competency for healthcare professionals at PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital is 81.5%, with details of doctors at 77.5%, nurses at 83.0%, and pharmacists at 81.0%. The interprofessional collaboration competency domain with the highest percentage is collaboration, with 83.0%, and the lowest is roles and responsibilities, with 80.0%. Then the results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained a significance value of 0.002 (p < 0.05). This shows that there are factors that challenge the realization of interprofessional collaboration, namely the perception of an imbalance in hierarchy and power between professions, as well as a lack of understanding of each other's skills and knowledge. Hospitals should implement in-house training and standard operating procedures for interprofessional collaboration, while educational institutions must evaluate and strengthen interprofessional education programs to improve patient safety and care quality.
