Abstract

Keterampilan dalam berpikir kritis adalah suatu hal yang krusial bagi peserta didik untuk mendukung ketercapaian dalam berjalannya pembelajaran, terkhusus pada pembelajaran IPA. Hal tersebut dikarenakan IPA merupakan materi belajar yang kompleks, tidak hanya, konsep, fakta, prinsip, dan hukum atau teori, tetapi meliputi proses rasa ingin tahu untuk menciptakan suatu penemuan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian untuk mengukur tingkat keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VIII dalam materi gerak benda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek pada penelitian ini merupakan peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta yang berjumlah 28 orang. Teknik dalam hal menentukan subjek pada penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan hasil tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Uji validitas data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pertama reduksi data, kemudian penyajian data, dan setelah itu penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil dari analisis keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII dalam materi gerak benda adalah 57% dengan kategori keterampilan berpikir kritis cukup. Secara rinci dijabarkan yaitu aspek memberikan penjelasan sederhana dengan kategori tinggi sebesar 32%, aspek strategi dan taktik dengan kategori rendah sebesar 53%, aspek memberikan penjelasan lebih lanjut dengan kategori cukup sebesar 75%, aspek membangun keterampilan dasar dengan kategori rendah sebesar 53%, dan aspek menyimpulkan dengan kategori cukup sebesar 64%.Critical thinking skills is needed by students in supporting the achievement of the learning process, especially learning science. This is because science learning is a complex learning, not only facts, concepts, principles, and laws or theories, but includes a process of curiosity to create an invention. This research purposes to analyze level of critical thingking skills of eighth grade in the material motion of objects. That research used  descriptive  qualitative methods. The subjects in this research is students at eighth grades in SMPN 26 Surakarta, with a total 28 students. Technique in this research for the taking of the subject is purposive sampling. Data from this study using critical thinking skills tests, and then interviews, the last documentation of test result. The validation of data for this research used technical triangulation. Analyze data used the theory of Miles and Huberman technique which is consisted reduction of data, presentation, and conclusions. Based on this study was found that the results of the analysis of critical thinking skills of eighth grades students in the motion of objects in the subject of motion were 57% in the category of sufficient critical thinking skills. In detail, the indicators elementary clarification with a high category of 32%, indicators of strategy and tactics with a low category of 53%, indicators advanced clarification with a sufficient category of 75%, indicators of basic support with a low category of 53%, and indicators inference with sufficient categories of 64%.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah mempengaruhi domain pendidikan dalam skala global. Tantangannya adalah bagaimana menyesuaikan pelaksanaan microteaching agar dapat dilaksanakan secara daring dan luring terbatas pada Era New Normal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian perencanaan, proses pembelajaran dan penilaiannya, serta hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran microteaching. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan Model Countenance Stake. Pembelajaran microteaching berhasil dilaksanakan dengan baik di era new normal. pada tahap anteseden (perencanaan pembelajaran dan fasilitas) diperoleh persentase sebesar 91,3%, tahap transaksi (pelaksanaan pembelajaran) diperoleh persentase 86,2%, dan pada outcome (penilaian hasil belajar) diperoleh persentase 100% lulus. Penggunaan tiga metode yaitu daring, luring dan asinkronus mendapatkan respon positif dari mahasiswa. Yang menarik, sesi microteaching yang paling dipilih mahasiswa adalah daring, sedangkan secara luring menempati urutan kedua. Pada pembelajaran microteaching selanjutnya, pasca pandemi pembelajaran luring, disarankan menggunakan dua metode yaitu luring dan daring. Mahasiswa perlu disiapkan untuk transformasi preferensi pembelajaran daring di masa depan dengan teknologi yang lebih maju. Walaupun praktik luring akan tetap memegang porsi yang lebih besar.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there is a simultaneous difference in students' creative thinking and collaboration skills when using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). The research employed a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The study population comprised tenth-grade students at SMA N 7 Surakarta during the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample included control and experimental classes selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using a creative thinking skills posttest, collaboration observation sheets, and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using MANOVA. The data analysis revealed that the creative thinking and collaboration skills of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The hypothesis test results indicated that the significance value was 0.021 (sig = 0.021 0.05), leading to the rejection of H0. This finding signifies that there is a simultaneous difference in creative thinking and collaboration skills when applying the PBL model integrated with TAI. It is concluded that the PBL model integrated with TAI creates a significant difference compared to the PBL model alone in fostering students' creative thinking and collaboration skills.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penanganan limbah perlu dikuasai siswa sebagai bentuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam menghadapi permasalahan tentang limbah, sehingga topik ini dapat dikembangkan menjadi sumber belajar untuk melatih kemampuan problem solving siswa. Pengembangan bahan ajar ini dapat dilakukan dengan pembuatan video pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran, mengetahui kelayakan dan mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan video dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi limbah. Desain penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) mengacu model 4D oleh Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi menjadi 3-D, yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, dan Develop. Teknik analisis data meliputi analisis kelayakan produk dan analisis efektifitas penggunaan media. . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dikembangkan mendapatkan persentase penilaian sebesar 85,61% dengan kategori sangat layak. Implementasi video pembelajaran juga menunjukkan kenaikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa awal (85.4) dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah akhir (98.78). Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan nilai probabilitas (sig) 0,001 < 0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebelum dan sesudah implementasi video pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran berbasis masalah kontekstual pada materi limbah layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Abstract. Waste treatment needs to be acquired by the students which is associated with the solution of waste problems, therefore this topic can be developed as a learning resource to enhance students' problem-solving skills. This teaching material can be developed by making problem-based learning videos. This study aimed to develop learning videos, determine the feasibility, and determine the differences the effectivity of developed media to promote students' problem-solving abilities before and after implementing problem-based learning videos for class X high school students on waste management topics. The research design in this research is Research and Development (R&D) referring to the Four Door (4-D) model by Thiagarajan which is modified to 3-D, which includes the Define, Design, and Develop stages. Data analysis techniques include product feasibility analysis and effectiveness of media use in learning. The results of the research show that the developed problem-based learning videos get an assessment percentage of 85.61% in the very feasible category. The implementation of learning videos also showed an increase in students' initial problem solving abilities (85.4) and final problem solving abilities (98.78). Test results: The results of the analysis of problem-solving abilities using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test show that a probability value (sig) of 0.001

Abstract

The objectives of this research was to examine the implementation of Science Integrated Learning Model in improving critical thinking skills of 11 Indonesian high school student in the excretion system and immune system. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR). Subjects were eleventh-grade students in the academic year of 2017/2018 consisted of 31 students, specifically 18 male students and 13 female students. The data was collected from students and teachers. Data collection techniques were conducted by observation, interview, and documentation study. The triangulation technique was used to verify the validity of the data. The data analysis technique employed was a qualitative descriptive analysis. The research procedure used an interrelated spiral CAR model. The experiment was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The result shows that students' critical thinking skills increased from 42.78% before research, become 54.92% in the first cycle, then 78.73% in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the implementation of the Science Integrated Learning Model can improve the critical thinking skills of 11 Indonesian high school students in the excretion system and immune system.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of discovery learning model with contextual teaching learning (ctl) approach to written skill argumentation students of karangpandan senior high school.. The research was considered as quasi experiment research using Pretest-Posttest Non-equivalent Control Group design. Sampling technique using cluster sampling. The study population is all students of class XI MIA SMA N Karangpandan Academic Year 2017/2019 consisting of six classes. Sample of class consists oftwo classes, eksperiment class with discovery learning model with contextual teaching learning (ctl) approach and control class with discovery learning. Data collection techniques use essays test, observations, and documentation. The normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and homogeneity with Levene test. Hypothesis test used is Paired Sample t test with 5% (α= 0.05) significance level assisted with SPSS 21. The research procedure includes planning, implementation and data analysis. The conclusion of this research show that  the application of discovery learning model with contextual teaching learning (ctl) approach has given effect towards student’s argumentation skill

Abstract

This research aims to (1) Knowing the development of e-comic-based learning media (ResDiC) on respiratory system material to increase high school students' learning motivation, (2) Knowing the feasibility of e-comic-based learning media (ResDiC) on respiratory system material to increase high school students' learning motivation, (3) Knowing response of student and teacher to e-comic-based learning media (ResDiC) on the respiratory system material to increase high school students' learning motivation, (4) Knowing the results of implementing e-comic-based learning media (ResDiC) on high school students' learning motivation. This research is kind of research and development (RnD). The development model used is ADDIE (analyse, design, development, implementation, evaluation). This research was conducted at MAN Sukoharjo. The research subjects were validators of media experts, material experts, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques in the form of teacher interviews, and need analysis questionnaires, material validation, media validation, teacher responses, student responses, and student learning motivation. The analysis used is Rasch analysis. ResDiC e-comic media is a learning media that contains material on the respiratory system which is presented in the form of interesting comics with various images and is equipped with videos related to the material. ResDiC is an e-comic that can be accessed with smartphones and laptops. The results of expert validation stated that the ResDiC media was very feasible to be used in research and learning. The response of teachers and students to the ResDiC media is also good. ResDiC media with its attractive appearance has the potential to increase students' learning motivation. The results of the pre and post motivational questionnaire showed an increase of 3.4%% for high motivation classes and an increase of 10% for moderate motivation classes after using ResDiC media.
