Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain how education that understands the uniqueness of each student in individual learning or individual instruction. This writing method uses a descriptive analysis approach from a number of literatures from journals, books and other documents. There are four aspects of individual differences that must be considered by teachers and principals in a teaching and learning process that includes physical-motor differences, intelligence differences, differences in language skills, and psychological differences. Understanding individual differences here is by carrying out individualized instruction (individual learning). Also provides opportunities for children to learn independently (Independent Study) by developing individual learning (individual instruction) in accordance with the level of their needs.

Abstract

Pandangan Islam secara global menyatakan bahwa fitrah merupakan kecenderungan alamiah bawaan sejak lahir. Penciptaan terhadap sesuatu ada untuk pertama kalinya dan struktur alamiah manusia sejak awal kelahirannya telah memiliki bawaan secara alamiah pada tiap individu. Islam sebagai agama fitrah tidak hanya sesuai dengan naluri keberagamaan manusia, bahkan menunjang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan fitrahnya. Hal ini menjadikan eksistensinya utuh dengan kepribadiannya yang sempurna. Pendidikan berbasis fitrah adalah upaya menemani, merawat, menumbuhkan dan membangkitkan semua potensi anak didik dengan tetap fokus pada sisi (terang) lebihnya. Sehingga dapat kita katakan bahwa pendidikan berbasis fitrah adalah pendidikan yang mengaitkan tujuan penciptaan seseorang dimuka bumi sehingga setiap orang akan mempunyai peran dalam peradabaan (misi hidup). Karena tujuan hidup tidak hanya menjadi bahagia tapi dapat bermanfaat untuk orang lain dan terhormat.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was carried out to know the main factors that caused students' and teachers' communication problems in communicating using the English language in learning English subjects. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. This study's subjects were 26 students in the class VIII-3 of MTs Swasta MIM Langsa and the English teacher who taught at this class. The data were collected using three collecting data techniques; there were interviews, questionnaires, and observation. Based on the data collection, the researcher found that the main factors that caused students' communication problems in communicating by using the English language were semantical, grammatical, and phonological factors. It happened in the process of delivering information or receiving information. Other factors were the noise from outside of the classroom, vehicle sound, and the distance between the speaker and listener. The last factors that caused communication problems were students' psychology as a listener, such as weak memory and lack of motivation. The teacher also had communication problems, but it was caused by environmental factors (physical barriers). The teacher did the teacher ways to solve these obstacles, so that communication between students and teacher runs by using English. Keywords: communication; students; teachers  Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor utama penyebab masalah komunikasi siswa dan guru dalam berkomunikasi menggunakan bahasa Inggris dalam pembelajaran mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 26 siswa kelas VIII-3 MTs Swasta MIM Langsa dan guru bahasa Inggris yang mengajar di kelas ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga teknik pengumpulan data; ada wawancara, kuesioner, dan observasi. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data, peneliti menemukan bahwa faktor utama yang menyebabkan masalah komunikasi siswa dalam berkomunikasi dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris adalah faktor semantik, gramatikal, dan fonologis. Itu terjadi dalam proses menyampaikan informasi atau menerima informasi. Faktor lainnya adalah kebisingan dari luar kelas, suara kendaraan, dan jarak antara pembicara dan pendengar. Faktor terakhir yang menyebabkan masalah komunikasi adalah psikologi siswa sebagai pendengar, seperti daya ingat yang lemah dan motivasi yang kurang. Guru juga mengalami masalah komunikasi, namun disebabkan oleh faktor lingkungan (hambatan fisik). Guru melakukan cara-cara guru untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut, sehingga komunikasi antara siswa dan guru berjalan dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Kata kunci: guru; komunikasi; siswa

Abstract

The article discusses the concept of teaching and learning aqil baligh in early childhood and given the importance of one readiness in carrying out one duty as a mukallaf when it has reached aqil baligh. Teaching and learning aqil baligh for early age children is not a provision of obligations but rather a preparation, training, and habituation to welcome the period of imposition of obligations (taklif) when he is baligh later. This is qualitative research based on a literature review. Data collection of this study was from books, journals of research results related to early childhood education. Early childhood education (between 0- 7 years) emphasizes the attainment of one's awareness of carrying out orders and abandoning the prohibitions of God. Learning material includes aqidah, worship (ibadah), and morals (akhlak) with several models. Early Childhood Education teachers must develop and model it for the children.

Abstract

Teachers play important roles in developing students’ talents. This paper focuses on the roles of teachers in talents development from teachers and deputy head of students’ affairs perfective. They are deputy head of SMK 1, SMUN 4 and MAN 2 Langsa. The purpose is to clarify about teachers understanding of talents in secondary schools in Langsa and what’s the role of teachers in developing students’ talents. A qualitative research by interview conducted among teachers and the deputy head of students affairs show that there are several roles taken by teachers in developing students’ talents. They are (1) parent partners, (2) role models, (3) organizers, (4) motivators, (5) facilitators, and (6) supervisors. However, most teachers understand talents only come from five senses. As a result the currents focus of developing talents in high schools is about field talents while talents come from nature (characters) is not nurtured yet.

Abstract

The article discusses how aqil baligh education in schools can be implanted by teachers so that between baligh and aqil parallels hand in hand, there is no gap between the two. Data collection using review literature methods analyzes various information from various writing sources of both books, modules, journal articles and other research results. To implement aqil baligh education in schools can be done by taking three steps. The first step is to make the educational targets that of designing the proper curriculum in order. Which functions are that it parallels biological maturity, psychological and social maturity as well as financial. Second, implementing a project-based learning process that is, a learning model that develops an understanding of concepts through meaningful problem investigation and can produce a real product or real experience such as an internship. Third, learning by creating learning communities through the learning cooperative learning model. The method of cooperative learning is shown to improve learner learning independence.

Abstract

The results of observations on April 15, 2019, at SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak, East Aceh District, and the 2017/2018 National Examinations showed that students experienced difficulties in geometry, so there was a need for teaching materials in the form of LAS (Student Activity Sheets). This development aims to determine that teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom are valid, practical, and effective, and also determine student learning outcomes. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subject of the trial in this study was grade VII-1 students of SMP Negeri 1 Peureulak, East Aceh District. Questionnaires, observations, interviews, and tests are used as data collection techniques and instruments in this research. The data analysis in this study is descriptive analysis using the preparation/development of the LAS product variable and the resulting LAS quality variable. As for student learning outcomes in using LAS can be seen from the results of the LAS analysis, which includes student learning outcomes as one of the effectiveness aspect of LAS and test data on learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the teaching materials in the form of LAS based on Acehnese local wisdom in mathematics learning especially geometry material in Junior High Schools are categorized as valid, practical, and effective. Student learning outcomes using the LAS have a mastery score with a score of 86.43.

Abstract

PTKIN di Aceh sebelumnya dalam bentuk IAIN, STAIN dan STAI Swasta, melakukan transformasi kelembagaan menjadi UIN, IAIN, dan STAIN sejak tahun 2006 sampai dengan tahun 2016.  Artikel ini mendiskusikan bagaimana proses transformasi kelembagaan PTKIN di Aceh? Bagaimana dampaknya terhadap tradisi akademik civitas akademika dan kehidupan keagamaan masyarakat pasca transformasi. Analisis kajian fokus pada tata kelola, pendidikan dan pengajaran, sumber daya manusia, publikasi ilmiah, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh PTKIN di Aceh. Metode penelitian yang dipilih secara kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data secara wawancara dengan lima pimpinan PTKIN, observasi lapangan dan telaah literatur, serta dokumen yang diperoleh dari lima PTKIN di Aceh. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa PTKIN di Aceh telah terjadi perbaikan tata kelola manajerial, peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan pengajaran, semakin tinggi kualitas SDM, bertambahnya jumlah penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah, dan semakin meningkat kreatifitas pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hal ini telah berdampak pada kesejahteraan masyarakat Aceh.
