Abstract

The PUPR Service is the office of the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office for the Probolinggo Regency area. The road handled by the PUPR Service itself is a district road. There are 288 road sections in the Binamarga sector database based on the Decree. This data is updated once a year. From the existing system, the Binamarga sector covers all district road conditions in the Probolinggo district. So to look for existing road damage data, you must first open all existing data. This lack of efficiency in finding road damage data makes the handling process take a long time to do. Based on these problems, the researchers designed a mapping application using a web and android-based Geographic Information System (GIS/GIS) application that can facilitate the government, especially the PUPR Service (General Workers and Spatial Planning) in finding road damage to make repairs quickly and efficiently. So that it is able to assist the PUPR Office in mapping the existing road damage in Probolinggo Regency in order to facilitate the search for existing road damage data. Based on the results of external testing, this application obtained a percentage of 92%, which means this system is very good to use.

Abstract

Motor wisdom shop is a shop that sells motorcycle spare parts that already have many customers. Sales and ordering services for spare parts at this store are still experiencing many obstacles, namely where customers can only order goods via whatsapp or by coming directly to the store. Usually the customer comes with a note containing the item he wants to order, then the customer waits for the order to finish, even until a customer goes home first, and comes back to take his order. This results in the customer having to go back and forth to the store and can result in the customer feeling disappointed with the existing service, because there is no accurate information from the store to the customer regarding the availability of spare parts. Researchers provide solutions by creating web-based e-commerce sales and spare parts ordering applications using the CodeIgniter framework. With this application, it can help make it easier for the store to make sales as well as service, and can assist customers in ordering spare parts online. Based on the results of research conducted using internal and external tests obtained a value of 75% which can be concluded that the application is categorized as good and feasible to use in the implementation of sales and ordering spare parts online.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease that has spread throughout the world. Factors that can cause a person to suffer from diabetes mellitus include high blood pressure, obesity, history of diabetes mellitus in the family, age, as well as unhealthy lifestyle and diet. Another factor that triggers the high rate of death due to diabetes mellitus is the delay in diagnosis due to the small number of medical personnel, especially in small towns. Several clinical trials must be carried out to determine whether someone has diabetes mellitus or not; and the clinical trial process takes a long time. Based on these problems, a decision support system was made for the identification of diabetes mellitus using the K-Nearest Neighbor classification method with 8 variables, namely the number of pregnancies, glucose levels, blood pressure, triceps skinfold thickness, insulin, body mass index (BMI), family history of diabetes mellitus, and age. Based on implementation and testing, with a value of k = 23, an accuracy rate of 0.96 or 96% is obtained, the accuracy level is considered high enough so that this study is considered to have succeeded in implementing the KNN method for a decision support system for early identification of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

Desa Sumberanyar memiliki hasil laut yang melimpah, mayoritas mata pencaharian penduduknya adalah sebagai nelayan tradisional. Salah satunya hasil laut yang banyak dihasilkan oleh nelayan di Desa Sumberanyar adalah ikan tongkol dengan hasil tangkapan mencapai 100 ton pada saat musim tangkap melimpah. Harga ikan tongkol segar pada saat melimpah dijual dengan harga yang sangat murah, yaitu sebesar Rp. 2.000,-/kg. Selama ini masyarakat Desa Sumberanyar memanfaatkan ikan tongkol untuk dijual kepasar dalam bentuk segar (belum diolah), bahkan jika panen raya sebagian ikan tongkol banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan ternak dan yang tidak laku terjual sampai dibuang ditempat sampah karena sudah busuk. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat kelompok ibu-ibu PKK melalui aneka olahan ikan tongkol menjadi abon dan nugget. Metode yang dilakukan dengan metode ceramah serta demonstrasi yang berkenaan dengan proses pembuatan abon dan nugget mulai dari penanganan bahan baku, cara penggunaan alat-alat produksi, proses pencampuran bahan, pemasakan sampai pengemasan. Hasil secara keseluruahan hampir 35 peserta mitra kerja dapat membuat aneka olahan ikan tongkol dengan baik dan benar .Kata kunci : Ikan tongkol, nugget, abon

Abstract

Desa Sidodadi adalah sebuah desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Paiton Kabupaten Probolinggo Propinsi Jawa Timur. Desa Sidodadi merupakan salah satu desa penghasil jagung terbesar di Kecamatan Paiton Kabupaten Probolinggo. Potensi tanaman jagung yang ada di Desa Sidodadi ini masih sangat bagus, produksi tanaman jagung rata-rata sekali panen menghasilkan 15 sampai dengan 20 ton. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat kelompok ibu-ibu PKK melalui pengolahan jagung afkir menjadi keripik / tortilla dan dodol. Metode yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi disertai materi pelatihan, serta disampaikan langsung dengan melakukan pendemontrasian yang berkenaan dengan proses pembuatan dodol dan tortilla mulai daripenanganan bahan baku, cara penggunaan alat-alat produksi, proses pencampuran bahan, pemasakan sampai pengemasan. Hasil secara keseluruahan mitra kerja dapat membuat keripik/tortilla dan dodol jagung afkir serta dapat melakukan pengemasan dengan baik.

Abstract

Sumbercenteng Village is a village located in Kotaanyar Sub-district of Probolinggo Regency of East Java Province. The inhabitants are mostly farmers. Moringa is one of plants that are easily found in community homes. It owns a lot of nutrition inside, unfortunately the community do not optimize the use of Moringa itself. The goal to be achieved in community service activities is to increase the income of the community groups of PKK mothers through the processing of various processed moringa into bakpia, nugget, and noodles. The method is done by using lecture and demonstration method along with training materials, and delivered directly by performing a presentation related to the process of making bakpia, nugget, and noodles ranging from raw materials, how to use the tools of production, the process of mixing the materials, cooking until packaging. The results of the whole 100% of partners can make a variety of processed moringa and can do the packaging well.

Abstract

Large red chili is one of the mainstay agricultural commodities in Karanganyar Village. Production of 85 tons of large red chili can be obtained by farmers, if there is abundant production. Every time the harvest of large red chili is not always perfect, there is often an imperfect shape of chili. Farmers usually call a large red chili reject, with a percentage of 10% (8.5 tons) each time. The price of this large red chili is cheaper than the large red chili that looks perfect. The goal to be achieved in community service activities is to increase the income of the PKK group of women through the processing of various processed large red chilies into powder, shredded rice and sauce. The method is done by using lecture and demonstration methods accompanied by training materials, and delivered directly by conducting demonstration relating to the process of making powder, shredded and sauce starting from the handling of raw materials, how to use production equipment, the process of mixing materials, cooking to packaging. The overall results of partners can make a variety of processed large red chillies and can do the packaging well.

Abstract

Play an important role in the growth and stabilization of the Indonesian economy (SMEs). However, SMEs are not ready, because there is still low access to markets and a lack of reliable human resources (there are still many SMEs unable to categorize their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) so that they are unable to create strategies to develop their business. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats as well as to determine the strategy to increase the power of jackfruit chips SMEs in Malang Regency. The research location is in Malang Regency. Data collection obtained from 25 respondents who are owners of the jackfruit chips SMEs in Malang Regency. The technique of data analysis using the SWOT matrix determines the priority strategies for increasing the competitiveness of jackfruit chips in Malang Regency. The results showed that efforts to improve the competitiveness of the jackfruit chips SMEs in Malang Regency could be carried out with the following strategic priorities: the best strategies to use strength to take advantage of existing opportunities are; 1) increasing the quality of jackfruit chips according to SNI, because products that have advantages do not use preservatives, 2) expanding the location of jackfruit chips marketing by utilizing technological advances for product promotion so that sales increase, 3) improving employee skills by conducting training accompanied by related institutions (government and educational institutions), 4) increase the number of jackfruit chips production by determining the selling price according to the quality produced by innovating in each production process.

Abstract

Technology is an important aspect for the success of an industry. Gazal Makmur UKM is an UKM that processes cassava into chips in Gazal Hamlet, Kotaanyar Village, Kotaanyar District, Probolinggo Regency. This study aims to calculate the value of the technology component contribution coefficient (TCC) and determine the priority of technology component development in Gazal Makmur SMEs. The method used in this study is the technometric method, namely the technology assessment method used to evaluate the contribution of technology components and the pairwise comparison matrix approach. The measured technology components include technoware (production equipment), humanware (human resource capabilities), infoware (information tools), and orgaware (organizational tools). The results of this study indicate that the contribution of the Orgaware component is the highest in Gazal Makmur SMEs (0.578), then humanware (0.467), humanware (0.252), and the smallest is technoware (0.0.244). The TCC value for Gazal Makmur SMEs is 0.418. The results of this calculation show that these SMEs have a TCC value below 0.7 and above 0.3, meaning that it can be concluded that these SMEs are classified as having a semi-modern level of technology with a reasonable technology category for the SME scale. Improving the quality of Gazal Makmur cassava chips SMEs starts from the orgaware component then humanware, infoware and finally orgaware.

Abstract

Pelaku Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) pada saat ini, baik di sektor usaha jasa maupun produksi mengalami beragam tantangan berat dalam kondisi pandemi Covid-19. Pelaku UKM dihadapkan pada era tatanan baru dan kenormalan baru atau lebih dikenal dengan sebutan New Normal. Era New Normal memberikan tantangan sekaligus peluang bagi pelaku UKM. Media sosial saat ini media yang paling efektif digunakan dalam kegiatan promosi. Media sosial dimanfaatkan sebagian besar UKM untuk mengadakan kontak personal dengan konsumen, promosi/ advertising, melakukan pendataan kebutuhan konsumen dan menyampaikan respon ke konsumen. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masysrakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi dan memberikan pelatihan kepada UKM Gazal Makmur dalam mempromosikan produknya melalui media sosial menggunakan aplikasi Facebook, You tube, Instagram dan TikTok. Hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah UKM Gazal makmur dapat meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam memanfaatkan teknologi khususnya mempromosikan produk menggunakan aplikasi media sosial TikTok, YouTube, Instagram dan Facebook. Viewer akun aplikasi YouTube lebih cepat banyak jumlah penontonnya dibanding TikTok, sedangkan follower Facebook lebih banyak dibandingkan Instagram.
