Abstract

The existence of Karang taruna is to help the Indonesian Government to provide social welfare is still debate able because of the various condition of Karang taruna. This research aimed to identify and analyze learning needs of Karang Taruna based on its profile that is divided by managerial role, administrative, and entrepreneurship. This research use mix method with the descriptive design. The steps of this research are (1) preliminary study, (2) formulating questionnaire, (3) collecting quantitative data, (4) analyzing quantitative data, (5) collecting qualitative data, (6) analyzing qualitative data, and (7) taking conclusion. The result of this research is (1) at managerial role, developing Karang taruna is need improvement almost in all sub aspect while developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement in some aspect, (2) at administrative aspect, developing Karang taruna need improvement almost in all aspect while developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement in some aspect, (3) at entrepreneurship aspect, developing, developed and pilot Karang taruna need improvement almost in all aspects. It can be concluded that all Karang taruna still need improvement at managerial, administrative, and entrepreneurship aspects. So this research provides information that to enhance the human resource development Karang taruna should improve their performance, especially at managerial, administrative, and entrepreneurship aspect. It also suggests the social office to provide development program for Karang taruna based on the weak aspect of Karang taruna. This research also strengthens the implementation of models for developing Karang taruna especially about the learning material that should be delivered.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a transformative learning model in parenting education programs organized by early childhood education institutions in changing the terms of reference for children's education to be even better and in synergy with those carried out by educational institutions. This research includes development model research. The results of this study are a transformative learning model in a parenting education program that uses five components, namely (1) syntax; (2) Social System; (3) Reaction Principle; (4) Support System and (5) Instructional Impact and Accompaniment. The steps of Transformative Learning used in the parenting education process consist of 4 steps of field activities, namely: (1) problem development steps; (2) critical reflection development steps; (3) location of determination and implementation of action; and (4) assistance steps taken by educators of early childhood education institutions to early childhood parents in the form of consultations, group discussion activities, and face-to-face activities (class sessions). The success of transformative learning in this parenting education program is that there is a change in the frame of reference of the parents of early childhood which comes from themselves, and the function of educators in this transformative learning process is as a facilitator and counselor in helping towards the change process.

Abstract

Dalam rangka mengurangi sampah bekas rumah tangga yang melimpah untuk kawasan pinggiran kota tepatnya dikelurahan Mangli Kabupaten Jember, perlunya memberikan keterampilan kepada Ibu- ibu rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki profesi lain diluar rumah yang tergabung dalam ibu PKK dalam rangka pemberdayaan berupa pelatihan seni decoupage dengan menggunakan bahan dasar sampah bekas rumah tangga. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan masyarakat RT 003 RW 009 kelurahan Mangli khususnya ibu rumah tangga yang tidak memiliki pekerjaan dan tergabung dalam ibu-ibu PKK. Mitra dari pengabdian ini adalag PKK RT.003 RW. 009. Metode dan pendekatan yang digunakan melalui program developmental, yaitu program pengembangan dan pemberdayaan yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat untuk memberdayakan potensi dalam mengatasi masalah kehidupan bersama.  Hasil pengabdian yang dilakukan mendapatkan respon yang positif dan dikatakan berhasil, hal ini ditandai dengan peserta yang sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan dan memberikan manfaat yang positif bagi ibu-ibu PKK.

Abstract

Aktivitas Dharma Wanita yang dilakukan sangat luas mulai dari sosialisasi, publikasi, seminar, hingga pelatihan untuk sosial kemasyarakatan. Dalam menjalankan bakti amanah, mereka juga berikhtiar melakukan pelatihan dan pengembangan. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan jangka pendek untuk mempelajari pengetahuan dan keterampilan teknis. Pada pelaksanaan program kerja, Dharma Wanita masih kurang dalam memiliki sumber daya manusia yang ahli. Diperlukannya sumber daya manusia yang memiliki kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan komitmen tinggi yang dapat membantu tercapainya tujuan organisasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peningkatan keahlian dari segi pengetahuan maupun teknologi. Pelatihan ini harapannya bisa menambah pengetahuan, meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas ibu-ibu dharma wanita mengenai Pipe Cleaner. Dengan begitu, Dharma Wanita dapat membuka lapangan kerja untuk wanita di sekitarnya. Sasaran dari program pelatihan ini ialah ibu-ibu Dharma Wanita MAN 3 Jember. Melalui pelaksanaan pelatihan ini peserta pelatihan dapat memberdayakan sumber daya manusia dan mengembangkan keterampilan praktis yang dapat diterapkan nantinya dalam kegiatan sehari-hari atau bahkan bisa menjadi potensi sumber penghasilan tambahan melalui menjual produk-produk yang mereka hasilkan melalui pipe cleaner. Adapun hasil pengabdian dilihat dari antusias para Ibu Dharma Wanita MAN 3 Jember dalam mengikuti pelatihan, hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil kuesioner, mengatakan bahwa Ibu-ibu Dharma Wanita sangat senang dan merasakan manfaatnya dengan mengenal media pipe cleaner. Abstract

Basic level education and training for early childhood educators in Cluster II of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, revealed several gaps in the teaching process. These were evidenced by issues such as educators' insufficient application of teaching principles in managing classrooms during learning activities. Consequently, many students fail to pay attention when educators deliver material, resulting in a disruptive classroom atmosphere. Furthermore, there is a lack of effective lesson planning aligned with the curriculum. Thus, research was conducted to address the problem statement: Is there a correlation between hierarchical training for PAUD educators and the early childhood learning process in Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency?. It employed a quantitative approach with correlational research. The study area was purposively chosen within Cluster II of PAUD in Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, with a total population of 25 educators. Data collection techniques involved questionnaires and documentation, with data analysis conducted using Pearson Product Moment correlation formula. The research's correlation coefficient yielded a result of 0.785, while the critical value r-table was 0.396 at a significance level of 0.05, with N=25. Consequently, the obtained result of r-value > r-table (0.785 > 0.396) led to the conclusion that there is a significant relationship between hierarchical training for PAUD educators and the early childhood learning process in Cluster II of PAUD in Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, categorized as a strong or high-level relationship.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the participation of learning residents in the success of learning the Package C program at PKBM Kartini. The research informants were determined using the Purposive Sampling technique, in which the learning residents and tutors of the Paket C program were key informants, while institutional managers were supporting informants. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The resulting data is data in the form of narrative and analyzed using the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman starting with data collection, data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study show that there is participation of learning citizens in the learning process, but each learning citizen has different learning participation. Contributive participation in attendance and asking questions in learning is different, but has initiative participation to ask for additional material or questions to be studied. The different participation of learning residents is because on average the learning residents are already married and have jobs so it is difficult to manage time. With this participation, it will certainly affect learning outcomes

Abstract

Learning citizens must be able to use and understand things related to digital technology, this is what is called digital literacy. The purpose of this study is to identify and describe the use of digital literacy in PKBM Sunan Kalijaga. This study uses a descriptive type of research with a qualitative approach. The research location is in PKBM Sunan Kalijaga, selected using the purposive area technique. The technique of determining informants is purposive sampling and to complete the data by selecting the category of informants using snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity checking technique using increased persistence and triangulation. Data analysis used the theory of Miles and Huberman with data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that at PKBM Sunan Kalijaga literacy used the SetaraDaring application as a learning medium. Because this application was developed for distance learning equivalence education and features are complete and detailed, such as: module material, communication, assignments, exams, assessments, attendance, and virtual learning

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of a computer course program in improving the digital skills of training participants at LKP Sulthan Computer Bondowoso. The technique for determining the location uses a purposive area and the technique for determining informants used is purposive sampling. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques used include: extending participation, diligent observation and triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the research can be concluded that the places and facilities at LKP Sulthan Computer include computers, theory rooms and practice rooms, presentation of material provided in accordance with Perpes SKKNI Number 08 Curriculum 2012, practice and assignments in the graphic design program, namely designing pamphlets and banners. The problem that often occurs in Sulthan's computer LKP is the difference in the comprehension abilities of training participants. At the end of the course program the instructor conducts a program closing reflection to review the training participants' abilities. The skills and creativity of the trainees can be seen from the way the trainees combine elements in graphic design and the trainees' communication skills can be seen when making presentations.

Abstract

Mengasuh anak berkebutuhan khusus merupakan tantangan tersendiri bagi orang tua karena memerlukan pengetahuan, kesadaran dan keterampilan yang lebih dari mengasuh anak-anak normal. Faktanya, tidak semua orang tua memiliki kondisi pengetahuan, kesadaran dan keterampilan yang sama dalam melakukan pengasuhannya. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi parenting self efficacy pada orang tua anak usia dini berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui teknik wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap orang tua siswa yang memiliki anak berkubuthan khusus yang dipilih secara purposive berdasarkan jenis disabilitas anak serta kesediaan orang tua yang juga didukung dengan dokumen-dokumen yang dimiliki oleh sekolah maupun orang tua. Analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, peyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orang tua anak usia dini berkebutuhan khusus berada pada tingkat self efficacy yang tinggi sebagaimana tampak dari cara pandang orang tua melihat masalah sebagai hal yang positif. Masalah yang ada dianggap sebagai tantangan yang harus dihadapi dan diselesaikan. Ketika mengalami kegagalan cepat untuk bangkit dan mau mencoba kembali, dan selalu berusaha mencari dan mencoba hal baru sebagai upaya untuk menyelesaikan masalah.
