Abstract. Sandra E. Pakasi*), Vicky Fransiskus Solum ,Tommy D. Sondakh , Wiske Ch. Rotinsulu, Frangky J. Paat , Jooudie N. Luntungan, Diane D. Pioh. Land Landscape Analysis Using the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Method in the Tetempangan Tourism Object, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. Ekoton   5. 36-43. This study aims to determine the state of the landscape in the Bukit Tetempangan Tourism Object, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency. This study uses the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) method to obtain the state of the landscape, elevation data, and slope in the Tetempangan Tourism Object area.   Data collection and processing techniques using the ArcGis 10.3 application. The results obtained in the Bukit Tetempangan Tourism Object Area have 3 slope classes, 0 - 25% (somewhat flat) with an area of 17.8 Ha, 25 - 40% (a bit steep) with an area of 5.33 Ha, and >40% (very steep) with an area of 14.87 ha and a height of 568 meters above sea level (masl). The total altitude data obtained can reach 1986 points. Thus, at this location, there must be a conservation application to prevent erosion and landslides. Abstract

The main objective of this study is to develop a site design for planning the development and management of natural tourism environmental services that are harmonious and harmonious with the natural environmental conditions in the Mount Mahawu Protection Forest by describing the potential, potential distribution and site analysis of each potential natural tourist attraction object. This research began in March to May 2023. The data used in this study were secondary data and primary data. Survey methods namely observation and inventory are used to obtain primary data in the form of biophysical data on research locations, types of potential natural tourist attraction objects as well as information on flora and fauna obtained at potential ODTW points determined by purposive sampling. Secondary data was obtained from a literature study as well as data from related institutions, namely the Forest Management Unit V of the Regional Forestry Service of North Sulawesi Province. The results showed that there were 6 forms of Land Mapping Unit (LMU) and 7 Land Utilization Types (LUT). The level of feasibility of developing ODTW potential consists of low to high categories. The high potential category is in LMU V and VI. LMU II is in the medium category class, LMU I, III and IV are in the medium and low categories. Alternatives to developing management space consist of business space covering an area of 522.663 Ha and public space of 53.265 Ha or 9.25% of the total site area by considering ecological, policy, technical and socio-cultural aspects.

Abstract

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) known by many as the "tree of life is a leading agricultural commodity in North Sulawesi. Coconut is one of the most significant palm crops for both commercial and subsistence use worldwide. Airmadidi District has the potential for plantation land, especially coconut, which is indicated by the area of ??coconut plantation land in Airmadidi in 2021 of 3,373.13 Ha. This research aims to produce spatial mapping of coconut plantation in Airmadidi District using visual interpretation techniques; and to determine the area of ??coconut plantations in Airmadidi District. Visual interpretation method using on screen classification of satelite imagery SPOT 2022 obtained from SAS Planet.  Images were digitized with a geographic information system using ArcGIS 10.8.2 software. The results of the visual interpretation show a map of the distribution of coconut plantations spread across all villages in Airmadidi District, North Minahasa Regency. The total area of coconut plantations in Airmadidi District is 3 023 Ha. Tanggari village has the largest spread of coconut plantations, namely 870,460 Ha, while Sarongsong Satu village has the smallest area, only 2.24 Ha. There was a decrease in the area of coconut plantation during the period of three year which was 305,51 Ha.  The decline in the area of coconut plantations in North Sulawesi, especially in Airmadidi District, is thought to be caused by the conversion of coconut plantation land into residential or industrial areas.

Abstract

Abstract

Information technology is necessary today, especially to present information on land planted with horticultural crops in an area. The need to obtain fast, precise, and accurate information with the existence of an internet network via smartphones has proven to be very helpful in presenting information to local governments and buyers of horticultural products in obtaining products that can be traded to the public. Often the difficulties that occur in several agricultural areas, the information available is only in the form of location data tables and the exact location is unknown. The problem is that this information is not yet available in some areas. Therefore this study aims to create a web-based information system by compiling, storing and showing information about existing horticultural plants by taking a case example in Girian District, Bitung City, North Sulawesi Province. Web-based information is created by combining the information using a geographic information system (GIS) that displays descriptive text, tables, and images based on spatial location. The results of this study are expected to be useful for farmers in Girian District and local governments in planning and evaluating horticultural farming more easily. The research was conducted by building a web using the Windows 10 pro operating system platform, ArcGIS 10.8 software, Google Earth, Microsoft Word, and XML as a web server, and WordPress 5.4.1 as a content management system. Websites that have been built are tested for performance with gtmatrix with good results. The website that has been built can provide information related to horticultural crops in Girian District, Bitung City, especially information about Girian District and also the location of horticultural crops in Girian District, Bitung City.
