Abstract

Sports is an effort to maintain a healthy body and is able to improve the function of body organs that are accustomed to exercising. There are many advantages when someone carries out sports activities, besides physical aspects, but also related to social aspects such as adding friends by participating in community sports activities, acknowledging the existence of other people with their willingness to share with their sports friends. The purpose of this study was to find out: the effect of Reactive Jump on the power of athletes leg muscle in the Education and Training Centre of Riau Dispora Volleyball 2018. This type of research was experimental research. The analysis of the t-test yields Tcount of 6,764 and Ttable of 1,753. Means Tcount>Ttable. Based on the t-test after calculating the basis, there is a difference in numbers that increases or rises by 5.01. It can be concluded that Reactive Jump exercises affect the Power of Leg Muscles in PPLP Athletes in Riau Province. Based on the findings and processing of the data above, it can be concluded the following: There is the effect of Reactive Jump (X) exercises with Leg Muscle Power (Y) on PPLP Athletes in Riau Province.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the significance towards the effects of direct instruction in physical education and problem-solving skills to solve the problems faced by students (Adversity Quotient). The method applied is through group experiment using pretest and posttest design. The procedure for this research include observation, interview, treatment program preparation, analysis and conclusion. The research findings are achieved through group experiment with direct instruction model with significant influence towards students’ adversity quotient level with a score of (sig.), 000 < α=0,005. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the direct instructional model provide significant effect towards the level of students’ adversity quotient.

Abstract

Lung vital capacity is the status of physiological conditions associated with the ability to treat respiration together with the increasing of physical fitness, so lung vital capacity is a process involving the mechanism of the heart and blood vessels and blood which aims to provide O2 to cells in the body and transport CO2 out of body. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between lung vital capacity and the physical fitness level of Pendor Football Athletes from Universitas Riau. The collecting of data in this study is data from lung vital capacity tests and physical fitness with a sample of 20 athletes. Analysis of the data that used to process data is Product Moment correlation. For determining the significance of data, it uses formulation of t distribution. The results that obtained from lung vital capacity have a significant correlation with the level of physical fitness, this is indicated by the results obtained by r count (0622) > r table (α = 0.05) = 0.456. Meanwhile, t distribution test is obtained the result of t count (3,369) > t table (1,734). So H0 is refused and Ha is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between the lung vital capacity (x) and the level of physical fitness (y).

Abstract

Mental hygiene and physical fitness are very important concerning volleyball learning achievement. This study aims to determine volleyball learning achievement which is correlated with (mental hygiene) and level of physical fitness. This research is a type of quantitative research with a correlation approach. The population in this study was 78 students of class 1A, Department of Physical Education, Health, and Recreation, Universitas Riau. The author will use only a portion to represent the existing population. The sampling technique of this research is purposive sampling. The number of samples is 40 people. Methods of data collection uses survey methods with test and measurement techniques. The statistical analysis method used in this study is multi-correlation. It is using a regression analysis test because it analyzes the relationship of more than 2 test variables. The instrument used was a test of physical fitness, mental health questionnaire test, and the results of learning achievement scores of volleyball subject. The mental hygiene instrument has a validity level of 0.595 and a reliability level of 0.522. while physical fitness instruments are adopted of the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test. Test and measurement data were processed using the multiple regression analysis methods. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that physical fitness and mental hygiene have a significant relationship with volleyball learning achievement. These results explain the importance for educators to be able to pay attention to students to improve volleyball learning achievement through providing subject matter by paying attention to physical fitness, using group games to instill a social spirit, sportsmanship, and students' confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan tentang tinjauan kemampuan keterampilan teknik dasar bola voli pada siswa ekstrakurikuler bola voli SMAN 1 Bunut. Penelitian ini tergolong pada penelitian deskripitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling (sampel jenuh), dimana seluruh populasi yang dijadikan sebagai sampel. Berdasarkan penentuan sampel di atas maka didapat sampel sebanyak 20 siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Bola Voli SMAN 1 Bunut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diuraikan pada bab terdahulu dapat dikemukakan kesimpulan bahwa : Tingkat kemampuan passing bawah yang dominan dimiliki siswa ekstrakurikuler Bolavoli di Sekolah SMAN 1 Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan adalah 1,7-80,5tergolong baik. (36,36%), Tingkat kemampuan passing atas yang dominan dimiliki siswa ekstrakurikuler Bolavoli di Sekolah SMAN 1 Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan adalah 48,7-56,5  tergolong kategori baik (40,90%), Tingkat kemampuan servis yang dominan dimiliki siswa ekstrakurikuler Bolavoli di Sekolah SMAN 1 Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan adalah 13,3-1452 tergolong kategori kurang  (31,80%), Tingkat kemampuan smash  yang dominan dimiliki siswa ekstrakurikuler Bolavoli di Sekolah SMAN 1 Bunut Kabupaten Pelalawan adalah 13,9-15,7  tergolong kategori kurang (36,36%). Descriptive of Volleyball Basic Skills on Volleyball Extracurricular Students SMAN 1 Bunut AbstractThe purpose of this study was to reveal a review of the ability of volleyball basic technical skills in volleyball extracurricular students at SMAN 1 Bunut. This research belongs to descriptive research. This study uses a total sampling technique (saturated sample), in which the entire population is sampled. Based on the determination of the sample above, 20 samples were obtained from students who joined the Volleyball extracurricular at SMAN 1 Bunut. Based on the results of the research described in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that: The dominant level of under-passing ability possessed by Bolavoli extracurricular students at SMAN 1 Bunut School in Pelalawan Regency is 1.7-80.5, which is classified as good. (36.36%), the level of passing ability over the dominant extracurricular students possessed at Bolavoli SMAN 1 Bunut Pelalawan Regency was 48.7-56.5 classified as good category (40.90%), the level of service ability dominantly possessed by extracurricular students The volleyball at SMAN 1 Bunut in Pelalawan Regency is 13.3-1452 classified as less (31.80%), the dominant level of smash ability possessed by extracurricular students Bolavoli at SMAN 1 Bunut Pelalawan Regency is 13.9-15.7 classified as a category less (36.36%).

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study with a correlational design that aims to determine the relationship between motor learning and cognitive function in students of public elementary schools in Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province. The population of this study was fifth grade students for the 2022/2023 school year, with a population of 627 children spread across 27 public elementary schools. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling. With this technique, I obtained a sample of 94 students. Methods of data collection using tests and measurements of cognitive function and movement skills Cognitive function uses the Concentration Grid Test (CGT) instrument and movement skills by observing movement learning. The results showed that students' cognitive function was in a good category, and their movement learning was also good. The results of the correlation analysis obtained a correlation coefficient of 0.695 > rtable = 0.396. This shows that there is a significant relationship between movement learning and cognitive function in fifth grade public elementary school students in Kuantan Tengah District for the 2022/2023 academic year. The conclusion that can be drawn from the results of the research is that one student's movement learning is influenced by cognitive function. Students who have good cognitive function tend to have good movement skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of the reciprocal method on the basic skills of playing Football. This type of research is quasi-experimental, the study population was 57 male students of SMP Negeri 2 Bunut Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province, while the sample in this study was 40 students after using purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was the David Lee proficiency test which was a development of David Lee made by Subagyo Irianto. Data were analyzed using statistical normality test and t-test. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant influence of reciprocal methods on the basic skills of playing soccer for students of SMP Negeri 2 Bunut, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province.

Abstract

The process of learning physical education in schools is influenced by nutrition, physical activity, and students' cognitive functions. The purpose of this study was to find out how students' nutritional status, physical activity, and cognitive function relate to their performance in physical education classes at school. This type of research is called correlational research. 98,289 junior high school students in Bandung, West Java Province, became the study population. Simple random sampling strategy for sampling 1870 students into the research sample. This study uses primary data provided from students' assessments of nutritional condition, physical activity, and cognitive function and secondary data provided from physical education teachers. The data collection method was in the form of a questionnaire to measure cognitive function, physical activity, and nutritional status, as well as student test scores from teachers to measure learning outcomes. Correlation analysis and multiple regression, as well as the F test, were used as data analysis methods in this study. Data analysis through computerized procedures using the SPSS application The tests needed are the normality test and the linearity test before testing the hypothesis. The findings demonstrate a significant correlation between learning outcomes and nutritional status, physical activity, and cognitive function. However, it is important to note that the research scope was limited to the field of physical education and the selected research subjects. Nonetheless, these results contribute to existing knowledge and can serve as a guide for future studies, particularly in the domain of physical education, aiming to optimise learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated based on the author's observations, during field practice at SMAN Teluk Kuantan, showing that students who have the skills to play volleyball tend to be less serious in the lessons they are following, inversely proportional to students who are less proficient in playing volleyball are more serious and pay attention to the teacher. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the tactical approach has on the learning outcomes of volleyball games for groups of students who have high motor skills. 2. Want to know how much influence the tactical approach has on the learning outcomes of volleyball games for groups of students who have low motor skills. The instruments used in this research are initial test, treatment and final test. The sample in this study were Teluk Kuantan State Senior High School students who participated in volleyball extracurricular activities. Based on the data processing of the volleyball game learning outcomes test, the high motor group shows tcount = 1.900 = ttable = 1.720, thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The low motor group shows thitung = 3.653 = ttabel = 1.720 thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. So it can be concluded that the tactical learning model has a significant effect on the results of learning volleyball games for high motor groups and low motor groups. Data processing and analysis show tcount = 0.511 < ttable = 0.61 so there is no difference, but from the results of data processing the difference test shows that the high motor group has a smaller average value than the low motor group, so it can be concluded that the low motor group has a higher increase in learning outcomes compared to the high motor group.

Abstract

Sports provide physical benefits and help people with special needs to be disciplined in managing their time and being wise. This research aims to analyse the contribution of sports training in building the discipline of athletes with special needs in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. A total of 47 athletes were the research samples, taken using purposive sampling techniques. The research instruments are a questionnaire sheet and Google form for the implementation of sports training, a questionnaire for the discipline of athletes with special needs, which have been tested for validity and reliability—data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis, linear regression analysis and determination tests. The contribution of sports training in building the disciplined character of athletes with special needs is 45.6% in the moderate category; factors/variables outside the research cause other influences. Sports training contributes to building the disciplined character of athletes with special needs in Indonesia, with the amount of contribution being in the moderate category. Knowing the impact of sports training on the character of athletes with special needs in Indonesia shows that sport contributes to building discipline. This conclusion is helpful as it provides information and data for the progress of sports and is a basis for diagnosing the development of athlete character and personality, specifically regarding the disciplinary character of athletes with special needs in Indonesia.
