Abstract

The role of schools in providing economic education from an early age should be maximized through non-formal or informal education as new economic education begins to be taught in the earliest schools at Junior High School level. In this research will be developed a story book in which contains a message on how to conduct economic activities in a rational manner so that children understand and can apply it in everyday economic activities.This research is a development research using Design Based Research development model. Based on the results of this study it is found that economic storybooks that have been developed are feasible to be used with the percentage of assessment from material experts of 86.72% (very feasible), and the percentage of assessment from media experts of 90.20% (very feasible). In addition, this story book is also effective to provide knowledge about the economic rationality that can be seen from the field trial results with a percentage of success of 80% (very good).

Abstract

Siswa dan siswi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Penerbangan Sriwijaya dengan kompetensi keahlian Usaha Perjalanan Wisata membutuhkan bekal ilmu dan pengetahuan tambahan sebelum memulai Praktik Kerja Lapangan di bandar udara agar dapat melaksanakan praktik kerja dan mendapatkan pengalaman kerja dengan optimal. Ketika berhubungan dengan pelanggan; dalam hal ini calon penumpang dan pengguna jasa bandar udara lainnya, pelayanan prima serta penanganan penumpang (termasuk bagasi) perlu dipelajari tidak hanya berdasarkan teori, namun juga workshop di laboratorium (hangar). Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan bandar udara, maskapai, dan ground handling; service excellence; passenger and baggage handling; serta penanganan kargo dan bea cukai. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan tiga metode, yaitu metode ceramah, metode tutorial, dan metode praktik di kampus Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kedirgantaraan Yogyakarta, baik di dalam kelas dan di dalam laboratorium (hangar). Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa dan siswi meningkat. Siswa dan siswi tersebut juga dapat mempraktikkan penanganan penumpang, bagasi, dan kargo dengan baik.

Abstract

MotoGP is a world-class motorcycle racing event involving participation from various countries around the world. In its implementation, it is necessary to import spare parts, vehicles, team equipment, and other technical equipment to circuits around the world, including Mandalika, Indonesia. This temporary import status makes MotoGP logistics require important documents, such as ATA Carnet and Customs Notification of Special Economic Zones (PPKEK) so that the goods can enter the Customs Area without being subject to customs and excise. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach because it aims to understand in depth the process of handling MotoGP import cargo, especially related to the use of ATA Carnet documents and Customs Notification of Special Economic Zones (PPKEK) in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone. The results of this study indicate that the use of customs documents, such as ATA Carnet and Special Economic Zone Customs Notification (PPKEK) is used depending on the needs of each user who wants the entry of MotoGP logistics into Indonesia to be exempted from customs and excise so that these two documents become important instruments in implementing the temporary import status scheme for MotoGP logistics so that it can facilitate the handling process at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport to distribution to the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). The conclusion of this study is that with the existence of two customs mechanisms, namely ATA Carnet and Special Economic Zone Customs Notification (PPKEK), as well as the role of PT. Angkasa Pura Logistik in handling the flow of goods at the airport, the smoothness of MotoGP logistics is more guaranteed.

Abstract

Garuda Indonesia airline experienced passenger growth in the third quarter of 2023 of 10,498,823 passengers or 36.45 percent from the previous period in 2022. This increase also resulted in an increase in cargo transportation which reached 144,000 tons. The method used in this study, the researcher used a qualitative research method. The data collection process carried out by the researcher through an interview process conducted with the load master unit consisting of 3 officers, documentation and observation were carried out by the researcher by coming directly to the research location. The steps for data analysis carried out by the researcher through data reduction, data presentation, and finally drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the process of handling cargo and baggage from loading to reporting has met the SOP. Problems that are often experienced when handling baggage and cargo during loading are delays in activities during preparation at ground time, the causes of which include factors such as Facilities, Human Resources, Human Error, Passenger, and Load.

Abstract

Tourism is an important sector for the economy, where Sam Ratulangi International Airport Manado acts as the main connectivity hub connecting domestic and international tourists. In 2024, the number of foreign tourist visits through this airport was recorded at 45,884 people, a decrease of 49.3% compared to the previous year according to BPS data, while domestic tourist visits actually increased significantly to 743,948 people. This phenomenon shows the great potential for tourism in Manado, but also challenges related to fluctuations in the number of tourists, especially from abroad. This study aims to determine the effect of flight ticket prices on tourist interest in using air transportation services in Manado, North Sulawesi in using air transportation services, and to measure how much influence flight ticket prices have on the interest of tourists in Manado, North Sulawesi in using air transportation services. This study uses a quantitative correlational method involving 100 tourist respondents visiting Manado. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. Data analysis is carried out using. validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression, T test and coefficient of determination (R2). Data processing through the SPSS version 22.0 application. The results of the study from the statistical test results showed a T count value of 4.945 which is greater than the t table of 1.660, and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the probability of 0.1. It is known that the correlation or relationship value (R) is 0.447 and the coefficient of determination value is 0.200, which means that the influence of the flight ticket price variable on tourist interest is 20.0%. Meanwhile, the remaining 80.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study, such as promotion, facilities, or destination appeal. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, which means that there is a significant influence between flight ticket prices and tourist interest.

Abstract

Airports serve as a central hub for air transportation, requiring precise coordination and operations, including ground handling services. One key element is the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) personnel, who are responsible for aircraft support equipment. They must adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure performance meets safety and efficiency standards. However, challenges such as timeliness, procedural discrepancies, and inconsistencies in SOP implementation remain. This study used a quantitative approach with correlational analysis and simple linear regression. The sample consisted of 30 GSE personnel selected through total sampling, and data were collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. This method aimed to identify the effect of SOP compliance. The results showed that SOP compliance had a positive and significant impact on GSE officer performance at Sam Ratulangi Airport in Manado. The regression coefficient of 0.632 indicates a positive relationship, with a significance value of 0.002 indicating statistical significance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.241 indicates that 24.1% of the variation in officer performance can be explained by compliance with SOPs, which indicates that increased compliance contributes positively to their performance.

Abstract

One aspect that supports and optimizes the security and safety of passengers is Aviation Security (AVSEC) flight security personnel. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an influence of Aviation Security (AVSEC) inspection services at Passengers Security Check Point (PSCP) Supadio Pontianak International Airport on passenger satisfaction and to find out how much influence there was between Aviation Security (AVSEC) security check services at Passengers Security Check Point (PSCP) Supadio Pontianak International Airport for passenger satisfaction. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using data analysis techniques, namely instrument testing, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression testing, and coefficient of determination testing. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with a sample of 100 respondents who are users of air transport services at Supadio Pontianak International Airport and who have passed inspection at the Passengers Security Check Point (PSCP). The research results concluded that; first Ha was accepted because there was an influence between the performance of Aviation Security (AVSEC) officers on passenger satisfaction at Supadio Pontianak International Airport as evidenced by the T count 15,445 > T table 1.948 and the sig value 0.00 <0.05. Second, it is known that the R square is 0.709, which means that the effect of the independent variable (AVSEC Officer Service) on the dependent variable (Passenger Satisfaction) is 70.9%.
