Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the influence of workload and work stress on the performance of the Airport Operation Control Center (AOCC) unit at Soekarno-Hatta Cengkareng International Airport. The population in this study were 41 members of the Airport Operation Control Center (AOCC) unit and the sample used for research was all members of the unit, namely 41 people. The research results show that there is a partial influence between workload on the performance of the Airport Operation Control Center unit with a calculated t value of 3.993. Job Stress also has a partial influence on performance with a calculated t result of 4.765. Apart from that, Workload and Work Stress have a partial influence on performance, namely with a calculated f result of 40.693.

Abstract

Siswa dan siswi Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Penerbangan Sriwijaya dengan kompetensi keahlian Usaha Perjalanan Wisata membutuhkan bekal ilmu dan pengetahuan tambahan sebelum memulai Praktik Kerja Lapangan di bandar udara agar dapat melaksanakan praktik kerja dan mendapatkan pengalaman kerja dengan optimal. Ketika berhubungan dengan pelanggan; dalam hal ini calon penumpang dan pengguna jasa bandar udara lainnya, pelayanan prima serta penanganan penumpang (termasuk bagasi) perlu dipelajari tidak hanya berdasarkan teori, namun juga workshop di laboratorium (hangar). Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan bandar udara, maskapai, dan ground handling; service excellence; passenger and baggage handling; serta penanganan kargo dan bea cukai. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan tiga metode, yaitu metode ceramah, metode tutorial, dan metode praktik di kampus Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Kedirgantaraan Yogyakarta, baik di dalam kelas dan di dalam laboratorium (hangar). Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test, pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa dan siswi meningkat. Siswa dan siswi tersebut juga dapat mempraktikkan penanganan penumpang, bagasi, dan kargo dengan baik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much the ease of use and brand image influence on the decision to purchase plane tickets online through Traveloka. This research was conducted online in April 2021 in Cilacap, Central Java. The research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The Types of data utilized in this study are primary and secondary data. Data collection is done by online send around questionnaires. The sampling method used is a purposive sampling technique. The amount of samples in this study is 96 respondents. Data analysis used in this research are descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, double linear regression analysis, partial test, simultaneous test, classical assumption test, and determination coefficient test. Based on partial test results, ease of use shows the sig > a (0.969 > 0.05) value and the brand image shows the sig < a (0.000 < 0.05). Whereas the simultaneous result shows the sig < a (0.000 < 0.05) value. The result of the coefficient determination test shows that ease of use and brand image influences purchase decisions by 50.8% and the leftovers are influenced by the other factors which are not included in this research. The research shows that in partial, ease of use doesn’t affect significantly on purchasing decision and brand image influences significantly on purchasing decision. Simultaneously, ease of use and brand image influences significantly on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research is based on the background of rule violations that often occur by officers during On The Job Training (OJT) at Sultan Muhamad Salahuddin Bima Airport, for example, such as not being on time and wearing incomplete uniforms. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance strategy of AVSEC officers in checking passenger goods on X-Ray machines and how AVSEC officers handle malfunctioning X-Ray machines. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and using SWOT analysis variable weighting. Respondents in this study were security officers in the X-Ray machine section of the Aviation Security unit at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport in Bima. The results of this study are: 1). The performance strategy of AVSEC officers in checking passenger goods on X-Ray machines at Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Airport is in accordance with existing handling standards and can support the continuity of discipline of duties and responsibilities that are better. 2). The way AVSEC officers handle malfunctioning X-Ray machines at Sultan Muhammad Salahudin Airport in Bima is by checking goods manually using Walk Through Metal Detector (WTMD) and Hand Held Metal Detecor (HHMD) machines. The performance strategy of Aviation Security officers shows in quadrant one, namely aggressive growth (grow oriented strategy).

Abstract

Untuk menunjang ketepatan waktu dalam sebuah penerbangan dibutuhkan kinerja yang baik dari para petugas. Kinerja yang berkualitas memiliki dampak positif bagi perusahaan maupun penerbangan tersebut. Kinerja tersebut merujuk pada keberhasilan seseorang dalam menjalankan tanggung jawabnya. Kinerja yang baik tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya etos kerja dan disiplin kerja. Adanya etos kerja dan disiplin kerja yang tinggi dapat menyelesaikan seluruh pekerjaan dengan cepat dan tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, peneliti menggumpulan data melalui penyebaran kuesioner serta pengumpulan dokumen lainnya. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunkan software SPSS 26.0. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa etos kerja secara parsial memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja flight coordinator dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,044< 0,05 dan dinyatakan bahwa (Ha1) diterima.Sama halnya dengan disiplin kerja yang secara parsial memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja flight coordinator dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,014< 0,05 dan dinyatakan (Ha2) diterima. Secara simultan etos kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja flight coordinator, dengan nilai signfiikan sebesar 0,002<0,05 dan dinyatakan (Ha3) diterima dan (Ho3) ditolak.
