Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rutan Klas I Surakarta masuk dalam 10 besar lapas/rutan dengan kelebihan kapasitas tertinggi di Jawa Tengah. Rutan Klas I Surakarta memiliki kelebihan kapasitas sebesar 109% dengan normal kapasitas sebanyak 298 tahanan namun dapat diisi hingga 622 tahanan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kesadaran berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat dengan kejadian skabies pada warga binaan.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional, sampel penelitian sebanyak 93 warga binaan secara proportional random sampling. Variabel bebas yaitu pengetahuan dan personal hygiene. Variabel terikat yaitu kejadian skabies. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar kuesioner dan lembar observasi dengan observasi dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: variabel personal hygiene (p=0,001) berhubungan dengan kejadian skabies. Sedangkan variabel pengetahuan (p=0,749) tidak ada hubungan dengan kejadian skabies.Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan antara kesadaran berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada warga binaan rutan.

Abstract

Background: Based on the results of observations carried out on August 18, 2021 at 5 restaurants in Gubug District, the results were only one restaurant whose workers wore masks. Four restaurants have hand washing facilities. Five restaurants do not apply temperature checks. One restaurant that implements social distancing and disinfects. Methods: This type of research is Analytical Observation with a Cross Sectional design. The sampling technique is the total sampling technique. The total sample is 44 restaurant respondents. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were analyzed using Fisher's test. Results: Shows that there is a relationship between worker hygiene (p = 0.027), hand washing facilities (p = 0.001), and disinfection (p = 0.018) with the level of compliance with COVID-19 health protocols at restaurants in Gubug District, Grobogan Regency. There is no relationship between knowledge of business actors (p=0.456), knowledge of workers (p=1,000), temperature checks (p=0.075), and social distancing (p=0.083) with the level of compliance with COVID-19 health protocols at restaurants in the sub-district Gubug Grobogan Regency. Conclusion: The description of compliance with the COVID-19 health protocol in restaurants is mostly in accordance with applicable guidelines.

Abstract

Background: WHO has declared a global emergency due to the outbreak of COVID-19 since January 2020. Traditional markets are a category of places that are vulnerable to transmission because market conditions are public facilities and many people are active in these locations. The purpose of this study is to determine factors related to the implementation of health protocols - 19 on traders in Traditional Markets. Methods: This type of research is quantitative analytic with a cross sectional design, with the research subject being traditional market traders. The sampling technique applied was proportional random sampling. The research instruments used were observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and cameras. Bivariate data analysis using chi square statistical test. Result: The results showed that there was a relationship between the level of knowledge of the COVID-19 Health Protocol p-value 0.031, the attitude level of the COVID-19 Health Protocol p-value 0.037, the personal hygiene level of traders p-value 0.001 with compliance with the implementation of the COVID-19 Health Protocol. Conclusion: The need to complete sanitation facilities, especially hand washing facilities. More actively socializing health protocols, routine inspections related to sanitation, and conducting indirect counseling methods through social media and print media.

Abstract

Background: This has become one of the focuses of health problems for health workers and the community considering that the Kedewan sub-district is the westernmost region of the Bojonegoro district which still has difficulty accessing and mobilizing. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental sanitation and a history of pneumonia and its contribution to the incidence of stunting. Methods: This type of research is analytic observational with a case control research design. The sample required is a sample of 22 cases and 22 controls.The instruments used are stunting data for the period February-August 2021 at the Kedewan Health Center, questionnaires, and stadiometers. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi-Square test. Results:Tthere was a relationship between latrine ownership and a history of pneumonia in children under five (p-value=0.048), there was a relationship between a history of pneumonia and the incidence of stunting (p-value=0.002). Variables that were not associated with a history of pneumonia were the provision of clean water (p-value=0,632), the condition of the floor of the house (p-value=0,691), and the disposal of garbage (p-value=0,632). Conclusion: The need for increased intervention and monitoring of environmental sanitation from the collaboration of the village government and health centers.

Abstract

Background: Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 which was discovered in Wuhan, China in 2019. Food handlers must meet personal hygiene requirements (Kepmenkes No. 1098/Menkes/SK/VIII/2003). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the personal hygiene compliance of food handlers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Analytical descriptive research with cross sectional design. A sample of 80 handlers. The dependent variable: personal hygiene compliance, and the independent variables: age, gender, education level, length of work, knowledge, attitudes, behavior, hand washing facilities, monitoring market officers, and market information media. The instruments used were questionnaires and observation sheets. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Results: the results of the Chi-Square Test analysis showed age (p=0.109), gender (p=1,000), years of work (p=1,000), education level (p=0.017), knowledge (p=0.159), attitudes (p = 0.014), action (p = 0.004), hand washing facilities (p = 1,000), monitoring of market officers (p = 0.106), market information media (p = 1,000). Conclusion: age, gender, length of work, knowledge, facilities hand washing, monitoring market officers and market information media are not related to personal hygiene compliance. The level of education, attitudes and actions have a relationship with personal hygiene compliance.

Abstract

Background: Based on COVID-19 data in Semarang City as of July 15, 2021, there were 2,048 confirmed positive cases and 5 positive cases were found in Sekaran Village. The purpose of the study was to describe the environmental health factors, knowledge and behavior of residents in preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic in Sekaran Village, Semarang City. Methods: The type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research subjects were 100 residents of Sekaran Village. The variables included spraying disinfectants, habit of washing hands with soap (WHWS), knowledge, use of masks, WHWS facilities, physical distancing and the habit of disposing of garbage. Instruments in the form of questionnaires and checklist sheets. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. Data were analyzed using univariate test. Results: Results: Shows that the details of the level of community preparedness in facing a pandemic in the form of spraying disinfectants (20%), WHWS facilities (75%), knowledge (11%), use of masks (28%), WHWS habits (49%), physical distancing (64%), habit of throwing garbage (70%). Conclusion: The level of community preparedness is categorized as not ready, of 7 variables, there were 5 variables that were not ready, namely spraying disinfectants, knowledge, using masks, maintaining physical distance, and WHWS habits.

Abstract

Background: Implementation of health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic is required by the government. Islamic boarding schools can become clusters for the spread of COVID-19 so that the RI Minister of Health issued Decree No.HK.01.07/MENKES/2322/2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence student compliance in implementing the COVID-19 health protocol. Methods Analytic observational study with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique is Probability Sampling with Simple Random Sampling. The sample is 92 respondents. The research instrument was in the form of questionnaires and observation sheets. Independent variables: gender, comorbidities, knowledge, use of masks, CTPS, physical distancing, cough-sneeze ethics, monitoring by the authorities, bedroom size, and CTPS facilities, and dependent variable: compliance to health protocols. Data analysis with Chi Square test and Logistic Regression. Results: Results of the Chi-Square Test analysis: use of masks (p=0.001), CTPS (p=0.001), physical distancing (p=0.001), cough-sneeze ethics (p=0.001), and monitoring by the authorities (p=0.001). The most dominant factor affecting the COVID-19 health protocol for students is monitoring by the authorities (RP = 0.272). Conclusion: There is a need for monitoring by the authorities and empowering the Islamic boarding school community regarding the implementation of health protocols.

Abstract

Acts of terror invariably commence with the cultivation of radicalism, making it imperative to implement preventive measures to curtail the proliferation of these extremist ideologies. Particularly noteworthy is the rise of social radicalism, which requires vigilant attention. The recent uptick in religious radicalism further underscores the urgency of fostering a preventive mindset. The objective of this initiative is to instill a preventive attitude among the residents of Gunungpati District in Semarang City, countering the influences of both terrorism and radicalism. Simultaneously, it seeks to offer valuable insights to the government, outlining necessary actions to provide legal protection for the people of Gunungpati District against religious sects associated with terrorism and radicalism. In collaboration with the Ats-Tsaqofah Semarang Foundation, an institution dedicated to community empowerment, particularly in the realm of religious morality development, this activity employs a combination of lecture, dialogue, and focused discussion methods. The utilization of the brainstorming method from the audience further enhances the initiative, extracting their initial knowledge about terrorism and radicalism. The anticipated outcome of this collaborative effort is the cultivation of preventive attitudes within society, acting as a counterforce against the infiltration of radical ideologies. By leveraging educational and community-based strategies, the initiative aims to equip individuals with the awareness and resilience needed to resist the allure of radicalism, thereby contributing to the overall security and well-being of the Gunungpati community.

Abstract

Timbulan sampah di Jawa Tengah mengalami peningkatan setiap tahun. Pada tahun 2021 timbulan sampah di Jawa tengah bertambah 1.655.963,99 Ton. Sampah yang tidak mengalami pengelolaan yang tepat dapat menyebabkan masalah, salah satunya menimbulkan penyakit yang disebabkan melalui vector. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengelolaan sampah dengan kepadatan lalat pada TPS di Kabupaten Wonogiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik, dengan rancangan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Januari-Februari 2022. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 42 yang dipilih teknik non probabiliy sampling. Hasil menujukkan bahwa pemilahan sampah (p=0,007), pengumpulan sampah (p=0,001), dan monitoring (p=0,029) berhubungan dengan kepadatan lalat, sedangkan pengangkutan sampah (p= 1,000) tidak berhubungan dengan kepadatan lalat. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pemilahan sampah, pengumpulan sampah, dan monitoring.

Abstract

Kasus diare balita di Kabupaten Demak pada tahun 2020 sebanyak 13.214 dan pada tahun 2021 mengalami peningkatan menjadi 13.314, untuk kasus diare balita di Desa Sedo lebih tinggi dibanding desa lainnya yaitu 45 kasus dengan cakupan penemuan 77,6%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian diare pada balita di Desa Sedo yang dilaksanakan pada bulan September-Oktober 2022. Jenis penelitian merupakan analitik observasional menggunakan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi adalah 106 ibu yang mempunyai balita usia 24-59 bulan, sehingga diperoleh sampel 52 dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kondisi jamban (p=0,022) dan variabel kebiasaan cuci tangan pakai sabun (p=0,040) berhubungan dengan kejadian diare, sementara variabel yang tidak berhubungan adalah kualitas fisik air bersih (p=0,778). Simpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara kondisi jamban dan kebiasaan cuci tangan pakai sabun dengan kejadian diare serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara kualitas fisik air bersih dengan kejadian diare pada balita.
