Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Business Administration Competition on student learning motivation, emotional intelligence and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness. The variables of this research are the BAC Competition (X1), learning motivation (Y1), emotional intelligence (Y2) and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness (Y3). This study used a quantitative approach using a sample of students in Business Administration study program who had participated in BAC competitions at both Polibatam and National levels. Data processing techniques in this study used SPSS 20 software. The population in this study were all students who participated in BAC which consisted of Secretarial competition, Meeting design competition, MC competition, Business presentation competition, Web design competition, Business data processing competition and Business plan. . The sample size of 28 students was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and observation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of this study concluded that there is an effect of the BAC Competition on each variable of learning motivation, emotional intelligence and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness.

Abstract

PT Tenaris Hydril is an Oil and Gas sector company with Pipe threading services for Accessories, Casing and Tubing types from customers with a long product process flow and each process allows defects to occur in the product. Based on PT Tenaris Hydril's Final Inspection data for the period January to December 2020, the most common defects encountered were peel off defects, to minimize defects in the product, risk management was carried out using the House of Risk (HOR) method which showed the HOR phase 1 based on ARP calculations, ranking risk and the Pareto diagram of the 80:20 principle, the results are in the form of 4 dominant risk triggers for preventive action to be taken. As well as HOR phase 2, there are 14 preventive action strategies with ratings to see which actions are taken first according to the level of ease and effectiveness.

Abstract

Transportation is something that is very close and cannot be separated in today's life. Facilities are elements related to the level of satisfaction of service users. The availability of adequate facilities encourages passengers to feel satisfaction with the company's performance. The research uses quantitative analysis methods. The aim of this research is to determine the significant influence of facilities, service quality and price perceptions partially and simultaneously on Trans Batam user satisfaction. This research found that partially facilities (X1), service quality (X2) and price perception (X3) had a significant influence on passenger satisfaction (Y). From the test results, the calculated F value is 155,889 with the F table being 2.65 so that the calculated F value > F table or 155,889 > 2.65 and the significant level is 0.000 < 0.05, so H4 is accepted, it can be concluded that simultaneously the facility variables (X1), service quality (X2) and price perception (X3) simultaneously influence Trans Batam Bus passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Sagala Tofu and Tempeh MSMEs face challenges in selecting soybean suppliers due to inconsistencies in price, quality, and delivery reliability, which impact production and market demand fulfillment. Sagala Tofu and Tempe MSME is one of the MSMEs that requires 100–150 kg of soybeans daily. This research aims to help Sagala Tofu and Tempe MSME identify the correct standards (priority criteria/sub-criteria) for making decisions regarding soybean raw materials and to determine the best soybean supplier. The research method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that the priority criterion is quality (0.469), followed by price (0.230), quantity accuracy (0.159), delivery (0.102), and customer care (0.038). Based on these supplier selection criteria, supplier X was rated the best, with a score of 0.420, followed by supplier Z (0.340) and supplier Y (0.240).
