Abstract

This training aims to improve teacher’s understanding of writing scientific articles at the Mamben lauk Cluster III Elementary School, Wanasaba District. This is based on their lack of understanding of scientific article writing so that they are difficult for the next promotion. This activity was attended by 22 teachers at the Mamben Lauk Cluster III Elementary School. The method of implementing this service activity is training with three stages of activites, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The implementation of this community service activity includes providing material about writing articles and publishing articles in journals. In addition, the participants also practice writing scientific articles so that their mastery becomes more nature. The result obtained from this training activity are that the participants are very happy and enthusiastic about participating in this training activity because it can provide insight in the preparation of scientific articles which will later lead to an increase in their space class.

Abstract

The purpose of holding this community service activity that the children in Embur Leuk Pringgabaya Village can read and writen. This activity was carried out because there where still children in Embur Leuk, who cannot read and writen even though they were at the elementary school level. This activity was attended by 15 elementary school children from different grade levels. The method of implementing this service activity is a survey of activity needs, planning activites, implementation activites, and evaluations. While the method used in learning activites, using the syllable method and the media used is syllable card media. The result of this activitity show that the children in Embur Leuk, Pringgabaya Village were very enthusiastic when the learning process takes place and they are also satisfied because they can read an write.

Abstract

Desa Seruni Mumbul merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di pesisi timur Pulau Lombok. Mayoritas pekerjaan penduduknya yaitu sebagai nelayan. Salah satu hasil tangkapan yang jumlahnya melimpah adalah ikan tongkol. Permasalahannya, masyarakat Desa Seruni Mumbul kurang terampil dalam mengolah ikan tongkol menjadi produk yang awet dan berdaya jual tinggi. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu-ibu di Desa Seruni Mumbul tentang cara mengolah makanan berbahan dasar ikan tongkol menjadi abon ikan. Peserta pelatihan merupakan warga di Desa Seruni Mumbul yang berjumlah 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa setelah kegiatan pelatihan peserta memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengolah ikan tongkol menjadi abon. Peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan dan sudah bisa melakukan pemasaran produk melalui berbagai akun sosial media.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPS siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Circuit Learning berbantuan power point kelas V SD Negeri 3 Suntalangu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Celassrooom management) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan kegiatan yaitu, merencanakan, melakukan tindakan, mengamati dan merefleksi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Suntalangu yang berjumlah 29 siswa, terdiri dari 11 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Data pemahaman konsep IPS dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tes berbentuk uraian dan pilihan ganda, setelah data terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Circuit Learning berbantuan power point dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep IPS siswa kelas V SD Negeri 3 Suntalangu. Pada siklus I rata-rata pemahaman konsep IPS siswa sebesar 68,74 dengan ketuntasan klasikalnya mencapai 66% sedangkan pada siklus II rata-rata pemahaman konsep IPS siswa sebesar 72,53 dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 90%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in the ability to recognize letters on the theme of plants in group B of Maraqitta'limat Tembeng Putik Kindergarten by using letter card games. This research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Research stages include planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were group B, totaling 15 children, consisting of 10 boys and 5 girls. Data collection methods through interviews, observation and documentation. The instrument used in this research was an observation sheet on the ability to recognize letters which consisted of four indicators, namely naming letter symbols, matching letter symbols, composing words, and showing letters. Data were analyzed using a percentage formula to determine classical completeness in each cycle. The results of the research show that letter card games can improve children's ability to recognize letters. This increase can be seen from the children's classical completeness in cycle I, namely 60%, then increasing to 86% in cycle II. This is because children are very enthusiastic and motivated in learning. Through playing letter cards, children become more responsive so that their ability to recognize letters increases.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the method used in teaching mathematics that did not involve students, and the teacher did not link the subject matter to the realities of everyday life so that students did not understand the material being studied. One effort to overcome this is by implementing a learning model that is related to the real world, namely the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) learning model. The aim of this research is to improve students' critical thinking skills by applying the Realistic Mathematical Education (RME) learning model for class V SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk. This research is classroom action research, and was carried out over two cycles. Each cycle consists of four components, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this research were class V students at SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk with a total of 23 students, consisting of 10 boys and 13 girls. Data on students' critical thinking abilities was collected using written test techniques in the form of descriptions. Thinking ability data was analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the students' critical thinking skills in cycle I had a classical average of 73.47 and were in the medium category. Meanwhile in cycle II the classical average reached 82.83 and was in the high category. These results prove that the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of class V students at SD Negeri 03 Mamben Lauk.

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' understanding of the social studies concept in class III at SDN 4 Mamben Daya by using the talking stick learning model. This research is a classroom action research, and was carried out for two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subjects in this study were class III students at SDN 4 Mamben Lauk with a total of 23 students, consisting of 12 boys and 11 girls. Data on students' social studies concept comprehension were collected using oral and written test techniques in the form of essays. After the data on students' social studies concept mastery was collected, the data was then analyzed descriptively. Data on the results of understanding the IPS concept in cycle I averaged 69.91 classes with a classical completeness of 70%. Whereas in cycle II the class average was 71.87 with classical completeness of 91%. From the results of the data analysis it can be concluded that the implementation of the talking stick learning model can increase the understanding of the IPS concept.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to trainning the teachers in Teacher Strategy on Fostering Basic Ability to Recognize Hijaiyyah Letters through Contextual Learning Approach at PAUD Jannatul Hazni Tontong Suit Village Bagik Papan, East Lombok. This is based on the lack of experience and skills of teachers in developing contextual approach strategies. The specific target achieved from this training activity is to provide reinforcement and improve teacher skills in using a contextual learning approach strategy in fostering basic skills on recognizing hijaiyyah letters. The method is used participatory training and mentoring. all teachers in the institution become training participants in community service. The implementation of community service activity includes by providing material on the teacher's strategy in using the contextual learning approach. It has been done as a form of strengthening and ability of teachers in implementing contextual learning approach strategies. After conceptual strengthening, the teacher provides intensive assistance in evaluation practice based on standardized program evaluation mechanisms starting from selecting programs to be evaluated, formulating goals, determining the evaluation model used, developing instruments, collecting data, and analyzing data from program evaluation results. To maintain the sustainability of the results of this activity, mentoring continues to be carried out between the teacher and the Service Implementation Team so that the objectives of the implementation of this community service activity can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to reduce the use of gadgets in children through playing science experiments by conducting free tutoring in the village of Mamben Lauk. This activity was attended by 12 kindergarten and elementary school level children in the Mamben Lauk village environment. The method of implementing this service activity is a survey of activity needs, activity plans, implementation of tutoring and evaluation of activities. The implementation of tutoring is carried out using experiments on the theme of science. The media used were props in the form of water rockets and toy cars which were made together with the children using used materials. The results of this activity show that children gain learning experiences while playing science experiments and understanding the dangers of excessive use of gadgets for health. In the implementation of this tutoring, children look enthusiastic, enthusiastic, and cheerful when participating in each learning activity. This activity also received a positive response from parents because it can reduce the frequency of using gedged by children.

Abstract

Daluman (Cylea Barbata Miers) merupakan tanaman yang sudah banyak menyebar di berbagai tempat di Indonesia. Daun daluman dapat dijadikan bahan baku untuk membuat alternatif minuman sehat karena kandungannya yang memiliki banyak manfaat bagi kesehatan. Tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan daun daluman sebagai alternatif minuman sehat. Peserta pelatihan merupakan warga di dusun Karang Anyar Timuk yang berjumlah 18 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa setelah kegiatan peserta dapat menjelasakan manfaat daluman bagi kesehatan serta memiliki keterampilan mengolah daun daluman menjadi es cincau daluman dengan tiga varian rasa. Peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan karena selain sehat es cincau daluman juga dapat dijadikan sebagai peluang usaha.
