Abstract

Digital tourism increasingly requires interactive and immersive media, yet virtual tour development in rural and community-based settings often lacks methodological rigor, structured usability evaluation, and user-centered design. To address this gap, this study develops a web-based 360-degree Virtual Tour for AEWO Mulyaharja using the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) framework. Introductory Augmented Reality (AR) elements were included to enrich visual presentation, although these features were not the primary focus of evaluation. The system was developed through the six MDLC stages and assessed using an adapted usability instrument derived from the principles of the System Usability Scale (SUS), simplified to accommodate respondents with varying levels of digital literacy. Thirty participants tested the system and rated five aspects: attractiveness, ease of use, information completeness, intention to visit, and cross-device accessibility. The Virtual Tour achieved an average usability score of 81.68 percent, categorized as “very good,” indicating that the platform is engaging, clear, and accessible for potential users. Scientifically, the study contributes to digital tourism literature by integrating MDLC with Human–Computer Interaction considerations and demonstrating the contextual application of an adapted usability measure for community-based environments. Practically, the Virtual Tour enhances AEWO Mulyaharja’s digital visibility and offers a replicable model for rural tourism digitalization. Future research may explore deeper evaluation of AR functionality, broader respondent groups, and additional usability metrics

Abstract

In order to guarantee system functioning and quality, software testing is an essential stage in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This study implements black box testing using Equivalency Partitioning (EP) and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) on the Admin Website PAUD KB Al Husna to identify functional defects, focusing on input validation and error handling. In this study, 82 test scenarios were created for five functional modules (Class Management, Teacher Management, FAQ, Schedule, Gallery) and three non-functional factors (Security, Compatibility, and Responsiveness). Test execution was conducted manually based on BVA test cases (Min-1, Min, Max, Max+1) and EP cases (valid and invalid classes). Results showed a 32.9% failure rate (27 of 82 scenarios). Critical findings include: (1) Systemic failure in upper-boundary validation (BVA Max+1) with 256-character inputs; (2) EP-Invalid validation failures revealing Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities from HTML input; and (3) Absence of brute-force protection on login pages. The study concludes that BVA and EP techniques effectively identify critical data validation and security defects, providing essential improvement recommendations for developers.

Abstract

Software reliability is highly dependent on robust data validation mechanisms to prevent data integrity issues. The main issue raised in this study is the risk of input errors in the "Create Doctor Invitation" form in the TemanTernak web application, which could potentially cause invalid data storage. This study aims to evaluate the quality of the system's input validation to ensure its compliance with the requirements specifications. The proposed solution is the implementation of Black Box Testing with the Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) technique. The testing methodology was carried out following the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) stages, in which 17 test scenarios were run to assess four critical elements: name and title, email, phone number, and invitation message. The test results revealed that the system only achieved a functional success rate of 41.2%. Although the application successfully processed standard valid inputs, the system failed to reject the majority of inputs that were outside the tolerance limits (off-boundary) and passed empty inputs in mandatory fields. In conclusion , the current validation mechanism is insufficient to handle extreme conditions. In the future, the implementation of strict server-side validation with range constraints is necessary to mitigate these vulnerabilities.

Abstract

The poultry farming subsector plays a crucial role in national food security, yet remains constrained by manual recording and efficiency constraints. Digital transformation offers solutions such as the Eggspert website, designed to assist farmers in managing production and sales data quickly and in an integrated manner. This study aims to test the reliability and functionality of the Eggspert system and assess the effectiveness of integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the software testing process. Unlike previous AI-assisted testing studies that primarily focus on generic software applications, this research emphasizes the application of NLP-based AI Testing within a domain-specific digital livestock management system, addressing the lack of empirical testing frameworks tailored to the poultry farming sector. This research is an experimental quantitative approach using Black Box Testing and Boundary Value Analysis (BVA) techniques, combined with Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based AI Testing. The process follows the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) stages to ensure systematic and measurable testing. Of the 42 test cases executed, 33 passed and 9 failed, resulting in a success rate of 78.57%. Each test case was executed repeatedly under consistent test conditions to ensure functional stability, with failures indicating specific validation weaknesses rather than random system behavior. Most system functions met specifications, although minor deficiencies remained in text validation and zero pricing. The integration of AI Testing has been shown to improve error detection efficiency. The combination of BVA and AI Testing effectively verified the functionality of the Eggspert system, increased the reliability and efficiency of the testing process, and has the potential to serve as a basis for developing an AI-based testing system in the digital livestock sector.
