Abstract

This research is about the service quality of guest relation officers at JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya. This study aims to determine the quality of service provided to guests and its effect on guest satisfaction at the JW Marriott Surabaya hotel. This research is presented in a qualitative descriptive manner with primary and secondary data sources, this study uses data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The total population is 10 front office department staff, and the sample is 4 staff guest relations officers. This study aims to determine the problems and desires of guests at the JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya. The result that can be taken is that the quality of service provided by the Guest Relations Officer at the JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya to guests is very good and according to the procedure so that it can effectively affect the level of guest satisfaction, with the conclusion that good service is carried out so that guest satisfaction can be met.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine to potential of Indrokilo Boyollai Botanical Garden as an ecotourism attraction in terms terms of the A4 tourist attraction components (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenity, Ancillary) and the optimization of Indrokilo Botanical Garden as an ecotourism attraction. This research used qualitative descriptive approach and SWOT analysis. Data collection in this study was carried out by observing and interviewing the Management of Indrokilo Boyolali Botanical Garden, equipped with documentation and literature study. The result of this research of Indrokilo Botanical Garden has the potential to be used an ecotourism attraction since it has several attractive objects and supporting facilities with the concept of conservation or environmental preservation and educational value. The optimization carried out by management of the Indrokilo Botacinal Garden is to present tourism activities in an attractive form and optimize infrastructure development that has not been realized to support tourism activities in Indrokilo Botanical Garden.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk pengembangan produk wisata Pantai Sembilan dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan A4 dalam upaya meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan di obyek wisata Pantai Sembilan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kawasan obyek wisata Pantai Sembilan dengan analisa deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis A4. Bentuk pengembangan produk wisata Pantai Sembilan dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan yaitu: meningkatkan kemudahan aksesibilitas dan standar keamanan terutama kapal penyeberangan, meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi/internet sebagai penunjang fasilitas pelayanan, meningkatkan standarisasi keamanan atraksi wisata demi keselamatan pengunjung dan pengembangan daya tarik wisata lainnya di sekitar kawasan Pantai Sembilan, serta menambah jumlah cottage. Pengaruh pengembangan A4 yaitu: dengan standarisasi keamanan atraksi wisata membuat wisatawan merasa aman saat berkunjung, pengembangan daya tarik wisata dapat memberikan atraksi baru sehingga wisatawan tidak jenuh saat berkunjung, peningkatan kemudahan aksesibilitas dan standar keamanan pada kapal penyeberangan dapat meminimalisir ketakutan calon wisatawan akan resiko kecelakaan di laut, serta peningkatan kualitas internet dan keasrian cottage dapat membuat wisatawan nyaman untuk berkunjung dalam tenggat waktu yang lebih lama.
