Abstract

Upaya pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS tidak hanya dilakukan oleh tenaga kesehatan, fasilitas kesehatan, dan manajer kasus HIV, tetapi juga dilakukan oleh ODHA dan OHIDHA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah upaya yang dilakukan ODHA dan OHIDHA dalam pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ODHA dan OHIDHA berperan dalam pencegahan penularan HIV/AIDS dengan pemakaian kondom, rutin tes HIV bagi pasangan ODHA, tidak seks bebas, dan mengikuti program PPIA. Kata Kunci: HIV/AIDS, ODHA, OHIDHA

Abstract

Perguruan tinggi sebagai produsen sumber daya manusia unggul menjadi poros utama dalam pengembangan kapasitas dan keterampilan mahasiswa, baik secara akademik maupun non-akademik. Lulusan perguruan tinggi sudah selayaknya menghasilkan tenaga-tenaga ahli di berbagai bidang industri. Meski demikian, jumlah pasar tenaga kerja tidak sebanding dengan permintaan tenaga kerja. Pasar tenaga kerja jumlahnya lebih terbatas dibanding permintaan tenaga kerja. Hal itu yang menyebabkan munculnya sarjana masa tunggu dikarenakan tidak langsung diterima di perusahaan tertentu. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan semangat wirasuaha para sarjana masa tunggu di lingkungan Universitas Sebelas Maret. Konsep digital marketing digunakan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas wirasuaha sarjana masa tunggu sekaligus merespon perkembangan teknologi digital. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dalam menguji kapasitas wirausaha sarjana masa tunggu sebelum dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan digital marketing. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan digital marketing berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas pengetahuan, kemampuan, dan keterampilan wirausaha pada sarjana masa tunggu, khususnya di lingkungan Universitas Sebelas Maret. Program aksi yang telah dilakukan adalah pelatihan penggunaan media sosial untuk pengembangan wirausaha kepada beberapa sarjana masa tunggu di antaranya adalah pemilik toko souvenir dan kue camilan.

Abstract

Introduction: Mutation in pre-core region is characterized by negative HBeAg and positive anti-HBe despite active replications of the virus. The mutation has diagnostic and prognostic implications. Therefore, detectionof pre-core mutant is important. Standard diagnosis approach for detecting pre-core mutant is through DNA sequencing of hepatitis B virus (HBV) pre-core region. Unfortunately, DNA sequencing is not available in mostcenters. Hence, a simpler diagnostic approach is necessary.Method: An observational-analytic design study was performed. Detection of pre-core mutant was conducted in individuals with positive HBsAg and HBV DNA that had various patterns of HBeAg and anti HBe. HBsAg, HBeAg and anti-HBe was detected using immunochromatography technique. The HBV DNA was evaluated by using qualitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing. PCR was done by three rounds of amplification with primers derived from wild type pre-core and mutant pre-core. Results: Of 25 sera with HBeAg negative, anti-HBe positive and HBV DNA positive, allele specific (AS) PCR pre-core mutant was detected in 20 (80%) sera. Two sera with HBeAg negative, anti HBe negative and HBV DNA positive were negative for pre-core mutant. Of 8 sera with HBeAg positive, anti HBe negative and HBV DNA positive, pre-core mutant was detected in 2 (25%) sera.Conclusion: Most of individuals with HBV DNA positive, HBeAg negative and anti-HBe positive have harbored pre-core mutant. The finding indicated that all patients with HBsAg positive, HBV DNA positive and HBeAg negative, but anti-HBe positive should be examined for the presence of pre-core mutant. Abstract

Background: In the past years, HBeAg and anti-HBe status in individuals with positive HBsAg were often correlated to viral replication. This study was aimed to find correlation between the HBV viremia and HBeAg/anti-HBe serological status in HBsAg-positive individuals. Method: An observational-analytic design was performed in this study. The sera of all positive HBsAg patients at Biomedika Hospital Laboratory were collected and examined for HBeAg and anti-HBe using immunochromatography technique between January and April 2012. The sampling method was purposive sampling. Afterwards, the sera were examined for HBV-DNA by polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Results: Sufficient amount of sera were collected from 44 patients consisting of 33 males and 11 females. The mean age was 15-68 years. Positive HBeAg and negative anti-HBe status was found in 11 (42%) patients. Negative HBeAg and positive anti-HBe was found in 26 (59.1%) patients. Both HBeAg and anti-HBe were negative in 7 (16.3%) patients. HBV-DNA was detected in all 11 (100%) patients with positive HBeAg and negative anti-HBe. HBV-DNA was also detected in 11 (42%) patients with negative HBeAg and positive anti-HBe. However, there was only one patient (14.3%) with both negative HBeAg and anti-HBe status, who had detectable HBV-DNA. Conclusion: Positive HBeAg can be used as an indicator of viremia, but negative HBeAg cannot be used as an indicator of the absence of viremia without further HBV-DNA testing. Patients with negative HBeAg and positive HBV-DNA were suspected for having pre-core mutant. Keywords: HBV-DNA, positive HBsAg, HBeAg, anti-HBe, pre-core mutant

Abstract

Latar belakang pengabdian ini adalah adanya perubahan paradigma dalam berbisnis dari konvensional menjadi online, terutama di era globalisasi dan teknologi informasi yang semakin maju. Desa Sewurejo, KHDTK UNS Karanganyar menjadi contoh dalam pengembangan bisnis online di tingkat desa, sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. Artikel ini memaparkan proses pengabdian yang dilakukan, mulai dari tahap penyuluhan dan sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, hingga pendampingan dan evaluasi. . Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada masyarakat desa terkait pengembangan bisnis online melalui marketplace. Hasil yang dicapai meliputi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam berbisnis online, peningkatan pendapatan, dan pemberdayaan potensi lokal. Meski dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti keterbatasan akses dan keterampilan teknologi, program ini berhasil memberikan dampak positif dalam peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Sewurejo.

Abstract

The main problem faced is the decline in tourist visits over the past six years and the lack of marketing communication innovations that hinder potential visits. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and the selection of informants using purposive sampling, namely the Sragen Regency Youth, Sports, Museum and Cultural Heritage Office, Krikilan Village Government, Pokdarwis Purba Budaya, Tourists. The theory used includes the SOSTAC + 3Ms model from PR Smith. The results and discussion show that the marketing strategy implemented is still less than optimal because it is too focused on print media advertising, merchandise, and personal promotion through fam trips, and minimal use of digital media. The main stakeholders emphasise the role of education, while other stakeholders, such as Pokdarwis and Krikilan Village Government, are still less active in promotion. In conclusion, the marketing communication strategy of Sangiran Museum of Ancient Humans needs to be developed with the utilisation of more digital channels and more active involvement of secondary stakeholders

Abstract

Currently, the preservation of traditional Javanese clothing faces significant challenges, particularly as children and adolescents are influenced by globalization and modern fashion trends. This influence has also affected traditional attire, which many children wear on formal occasions, shaping their future social status. Through this activity, an effort is made to expose, experiment with, and reflect on one of the most cosmopolitan aspects of cultural heritage—how people dress. This activity is part of a community service program titled Training on the Use of Traditional Javanese Attire for Children, held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Sanggar Permadani, Sukoharjo, with 40 participants in attendance. The training was organized by the FISIP UNS Research Group, in collaboration with Sanggar Permadani. The method used was participatory and educational, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice with the physical items integrated into the fashion training. The training revealed an increase in participants' understanding, interest, and motivation toward preserving traditional Javanese clothing. On a more abstract level, it is recognized that collective awareness of clothing as a form of identity is continuously being built, although without proper motivation, this effort may face greater challenges.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam perekonomian nasional, terutama dalam penyerapan tenaga kerja dan pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah. Penelitian ini mengkaji perintisan UMKM melalui pemanfaatan tanah kas desa (TKD) di Desa Campurejo, Kecamatan Bojonegoro, dengan menggunakan teori strukturasi Anthony Giddens untuk menganalisis interaksi antara agen dan struktur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data baik dari sumber primer maupun sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui interaksi langsung dengan informan penelitian, sementara data sekunder diperoleh dari sumber-sumber yang telah ada sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alih fungsi lahan dari pertanian ke sektor kuliner tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan dan pendapatan pelaku usaha, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada peningkatan perekonomian desa secara keseluruhan. Pelatihan yang diselenggarakan pemerintah desa telah berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan promosi dan manajemen usaha. Pendapatan dari penyewaan tempat usaha menjadi sumber kas desa yang digunakan untuk kepentingan masyarakat. Interaksi antara tindakan individu dan struktur sosial di Desa Campurejo menghasilkan perubahan positif, mengurangi kemiskinan, dan menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan.
