Abstract

E-Office, adalah istilah yang diciptakan untuk menutupi meningkatnya penggunaan komputer berbasis teknologi informasi untuk pekerjaan kantor. Seiring perkembangan zaman serta dengan kebijakan penerapan reformasi birokrasi di Indonesia yang mewajibkan setiap proses bisnis/kegiatan kantor pemerintahan daerah harus berjalan dengan efisien dan efektif yang menyebabkan terjadinya transformasi proses bisnis dari sistem konvensional atau manual ke sistem otomatisasi. Proses bisnis yang dilakukan secara manual (document driven)menggambarkan pengiriman sebuah dokumen, misalnya surat yang masih berupa hardcopy, dan dikirimkan dengan kurir antar unit di lingkungan kantor. Dengan penerapan e-goverment di lingkungan kantor pemerintahan daerah, aplikasi e-office adalah salah satu produk dari e-goverment yang bertujuan untuk penerapan reformasi birokrasi. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas dan efisiensi implementasi aplikasi e-office pada kegiatan perkantoran serta mengetahui seberapa besar aplikasi e-office dapat mendukung program reformasi birokrasi yang dilakukan pemerintah. Contohnya Puslitbang Jalan dan Jembatan mencoba memanfaatkan e-office dalam mendukung kegiatan perkantorannya. Pemanfaatan E-office terbukti dapat meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi dari kegiatan perkantoran.

Abstract

Kebutuhan mahasiswa akhir untuk memanfaatkan fasilitas aplikasi mendelay semakin berguna dalam meningkatkan percepatan penyelesaian skripsi. STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan terkhusus mahasiswa akhir ada beberapa yang telah memberdayakan aplikasi mendelay sebagai sarana untuk membuat daftar pustaka otomatis. Namun beberapa kendala masih ada, mengingat tidak semua mahasiswa akhir mampu mengenali dan memanfaatkan aplikasi mendelay dengan baik Seperti dicontohkan mahasiswa akhir di tahun 2020 di STMIK Pelita Nusantara masih banyak yang membuat daftar pustaka secara manual. Sasaran dalam program pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa akhir STMIK Pelita Nusantara Medan dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi yaitu dengan pelatihan membuat daftar pustka otomatis dengan aplikasi mendelay sehingga mampu memanfaatkan sarana yang ada di aplikasi Mendelay untuk kepentingan penyelesaian skripsi serta meningkatkan kemampuan dalam media pembelajaran melalui pelatihan membuat daftar pustaka otomatis dengan aplikasi mendelay. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan evaluasi di pelatihan membuat daftar pustka otomatis dengan aplikasi mendelay di STMIK Pelita Nusantara terlihat mahasiswa mengikuti pelatihan dengan sangat antusias. Pelatihan membuat daftar pustka otomatis dengan aplikasi mendelay di STMIK Pelita Nusantara dilaksanakan selama 1 hari yaitu pada tanggal 15 Maret dengan jumlah peserta yang di rencanakan sebanyak 16 mahasiswa. Pemateri yang mengikuti program pelatihan ini memiliki disiplin ilmu yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan bidang keahlian dan mata pelajaran yang diampunya.

Abstract

Diabetes is a very dangerous disease because diabetes can attack other organs of the body so that it can cause death. This is due to the lack of technology-based information that can help determine the symptoms of diabetes. With the limited number of diabetes experts, an expert system is needed to diagnose diabetes. The method applied to the system is the Dempster Shafer method, by determining 17 symptoms and 3 types of disease, as well as compiling a rule base in determining the relationship of each symptom so that the results in the calculation achieve 100% accurate results. This method has 5 steps in its completion. The results showed that the Dempster Shafer method could be used to diagnose the symptoms of diabetes. So that the existence of this system can help the wider community in finding information about the symptoms of diabetes.

Abstract

Psychological problems such as Anxiety Disorder have become a common problem in the world. Most sufferers of this disease are under 45 years old on average and usually this disorder often attacks the mentality of women. However, this disease is often considered trivial and not many sufferers realize it. Not to mention the handling of course requires quite a lot of money. Another thing is the lack of information about this disease, which causes the risk of sufferers of Anxiety Disorder to increase every year. To solve existing problems, it can be solved by using computer technology in the health sector that can diagnose a disease like an expert, namely an expert system application disease symptoms. The purpose of this study is as a first step to treat this disorder as quickly as possible. The application of the Naïve Bayes method plays a role in being able to provide diagnostic results because the Naïve Bayes method is considered capable of providing the largest clarification of the value of v based on the selected symptoms.

Abstract

Sugarcane is a very important and agrarian plantation product in Indonesia, because sugar cane is a producer of sugar. However, in its cultivation, several problems often occur, such as diseases in sugarcane plants where when sugarcane plants are attacked by disease and are not handled, farmers will experience crop failure. Based on this, a tool is needed in the form of an expert system to diagnose diseases in sugarcane plants. The method used in this study is the Dempster Shafer method which processes data by providing evidence based on the belief funcation and plausible value of each symptom. This study treats 4 types of disease with 13 symptoms. The results showed that the dempster shafer method can be used as a tool in diagnosing sugarcane plant diseases so that it is expected to help farmers in handling diseases that attack sugarcane plants quickly and precisely and can increase profits from sugarcane harvests for farmers.

Abstract

me Industry is one of the SMEs that produce home-made products, such as pastries. Not all of these products are sold by consumers. This study uses a web-based C4.5 algorithm to determine marketing strategies for Home Industry products that are not selling well by classifying the indicators that most influence consumers in buying Home Industry products so that they can provide information about marketing strategies that will be carried out. Based on the results of the study, the highest gain value was the packaging attribute with a value of 1.86, so that the packaging attribute was used as the root in the formation of a decision tree. Then the second highest gain is the price attribute with a value of 1.26, and the third highest gain is the taste attribute with a value of 1.03, then the fourth highest gain is the service attribute with a value of 0.89.

Abstract

Community health center (puskesmas), is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts and first-level individual health efforts, and prioritizes promotive and preventive efforts. In accordance with geographical conditions, area size, transportation facilities, and population density in the working area of the puskesmas so that the puskesmas services are accessible to the population, to assist the smooth process of services that will make it easier for the community. Therefore, to assist in determining an ideal puskesmas development location, a Decision Support System (DSS) is used, the process of calculating the results of determining the location of the puskesmas construction using the Profile Matching method. As for the alternatives of this study, 6 villages were taken, namely Tanjung Mulia, Sumberejo, Sidodadi, Pagar Merbau II, Sidoarjo Satu Pasar Miring, and Bandar Dolok. And from the results of calculations using the Profile Matching method, it displays the ranking of the results of determining the location, where the highest value is in Tanjung Mulia village with a value of 3.69 so that it can be used as a solution or consideration in determining the location of the puskesmas to be built.

Abstract

Data mining is the process of extracting data into information that has not previously been conveyed, with the right techniques the data mining process will provide optimal results. Data Mining is divided into several methods. Data classification is a process of finding the same properties in a set of objects in a database and classifying them into different classes according to the defined classification model. The purpose of classification is to find a model from the training set that distinguishes attributes into the appropriate category or class, the model is then used to classify attributes whose class has not been previously known. The classification technique is divided into several techniques, one of which is the Decision Tree. One of the existing approaches in the classification technique is the C4.5 algorithm. The C4.5 algorithm is an approach in data mining classification techniques that can predict students' final grades. The variables used in analyzing the passing grades will be classified based on their attributes. The C4.5 algorithm with the decision tree method can provide predictive rule information to describe the process associated with analyzing student passing grades. The characteristics of the classified data can be obtained clearly, both in the form of a decision tree structure and rules so that in the testing phase the RapidMiner software can help predict student passing grades. With the formation of rules that can become new information that can be used as a tool in analyzing student passing grades.

Abstract

Kegiatan asistensi ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pembimbingan bagi para tenaga pendidik seperti dosen, akademisi dan peneliti dalam menulis artikel ilmiah sehingga layak untuk dipublikasikan pada jurnal – jurnal Nasional terakreditasi Sinta. Program asistensi penulisan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal terakreditasi Sinta ini berkerjasama dengan Lembaga publikasi yaitu Institute of Computer Science (IOCS). Kegiatan ini mengundang pakar yang merupakan seorang guru besar dan juga merupakan reviewer jurnal Internasional bereputasi Q1 s.d Q3 yang memberikan penjelasan terkait struktur artikel jurnal ilmiah yaitu Prof. Dr. Herman Mawengkang. Narasumber selanjutnya yaitu Ibu Devy Mathelinea, BSC., M.Sc yang merupakan pakar pada dalam referensi manager dan yang terakhir yaitu Bapak Paska Marto Hasugian, M.Kom yang memberikan penjelasan tentang teknis publikasi ilmiah. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan para akademisi khususnya para dosen pemula dapat mengetahui substansi dari sebuah karya ilmiah sehingga karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan layak untuk dipublikasikan pada jurnal – jurnal Nasional terakreditasi minimal Sinta 4 bahkan pada jurnal Internasional mengingat narasumber yang dihadirkan. Selain itu, dengan adanya kegiatan ini diharapkan para penulis maupun akademisi memiliki motivasi dan semangat untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas daripada karya ilmiah yang dihasilkan sehingga tidak hanya layak untuk dipublikasi pada jurnal Nasional Terakreditasi tetapi juga layak untuk dipublikasi pada jurnal – jurnal Internasional. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 110 peserta dari berbagai berbagai perguruan tinggi baik yang ada di Sumatera Utara dan diluar Sumatera Utara dan kegiatan berjalan selama 61 jam.

Abstract

This research investigates the potential of quantum computing in production planning and addresses the limitations of conventional computing approaches. Traditional methods have been partially effective, but they struggle to solve complex optimization problems, accurately predict demand, and manage supply chains efficiently. The unique computational capabilities of quantum computing offer promising solutions to surmount these obstacles and revolutionize production planning processes. This study seeks to bridge the gap between quantum computing and production planning by analyzing the benefits, limitations, and challenges of its applicability in this field. It proposes customized algorithms and methodologies for leveraging quantum computation to enhance production planning efficiency, cost reduction, and decision-making processes. The research demonstrates the potential of quantum algorithms to minimize total production costs while appeasing demand and resource constraints through a numerical example and mathematical formulation. The results emphasize the advantages of quantum computing in terms of cost reduction, enhanced efficiency, and scalability. Comparisons with conventional methods illuminate the benefits and drawbacks of quantum computing in production planning. This research contributes to the development of novel strategies to improve production planning efficiency, lower costs, and enhance decision-making processes, allowing organizations to leverage quantum computing for optimized production operations
