Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically determine the improvement of teacher's commitment to the organisation by observing its connection with servant leadership of the principal and job satisfaction, with respondents being Permanent Teachers of the Foundation (GTY) of Private Junior High School in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency. The number of research samples of 183 teachers was taken randomly using the proportional random sampling technique. The method used was the correlation method. Hypothesis testing was carried out using parametric statistical analysis in simple and multiple linear regression analysis, simple and multiple correlation analysis, and partial analysis with a significance level of = 0.01 and = 0.05. This study resulted in four conclusions. First, there is a significant positive correlation between servant leadership (X1) and teacher's commitment to the organisation (Y), which is indicated by a simple linear regression equation Ŷ = 63.094 + 0,501X1. with correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.73, coefficient of determination Ry12 = 0.5361. Second, there is a very significant positive correlation between job satisfaction (X2) and teacher’s commitment to the organization (Y) which is indicated by the linear regression equation Ŷ = 56.35 + 0.552X2 with correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.66, coefficient of determination Ry22 = 0,4343. Third, there is a significant positive correlation between servant leadership and job satisfaction collectively with the teacher's commitment to the organisation, which is indicated by the equation Ŷ = 35.50 + 0.372X1 + 0.34X2 with a correlation coefficient ry.12 = 0.81 and coefficient of determination Ry.122= 0.665. Fourth, commitment to the organisation of GTY's Private Junior High School in Cibinong District, Bogor Regency can be enhanced through strengthening servant leadership and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the empowerment of organizational culture in increasing the senior high school Principal’s performance. This research used a survey method with a causal approach. The affordable population in this study were 146 heads of public and private high schools in East Jakarta. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data were collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (path analysis). The result shows that the senior high school Principal’s performance can be increased by empowering organizational culture. It also shows that the senior high school Principal’s performance strengthens the notion that the higher score of the independent variables of organizational culture, the higher score of the senior high school Principal’s performance serving as the dependent variable. Strengthening organizational culture will improve senior high school Principal’s performance. Finally, the senior high school Principal’s performance was examined at one point in time. The quality of the principal’s performance will increase if organizational culture also increases.

Abstract

This study uses a correlational approach, and SITOREM analysis consists of two independent variables, namely Learning Supervision and Achievement Motivation, and the dependent variable, Teacher Creativity. This research was conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Tenjolaya District in April 2022, with a study population of 142, and there were 106 samples selected using proportional random sampling. The method used in this research is survey and data analysis techniques, with statistical tests of correlation and simple linear regression, and multiple linear regression. The results obtained are as follows, namely: first, there is a significant positive relationship between the Learning Supervision variable (X1) and teacher creativity (Y) with the form of the regression equation = 60.831 + 0.405 X1 and the correlation coefficient ry1 = 0.469 and the correlation coefficient r2y1 = 0.220. Second, there is a significant positive relationship between Achievement Motivation (X2) and teacher creativity (Y) with the form of the regression equation = 51.451 + 0.498 X2 and the correlation coefficient ry2 = 0.498 and the coefficient of determination r2y2 = 0.248. Third, there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of Learning Supervision (X1) and Achievement Motivation (X2) together with teacher creativity (Y) expressed in the form of a regression equation = 20.939 + 0.269 X1 + 0.445 X2 with correlation coefficient ry12 = 0.572 and the coefficient of determination r2y12 = 0.328. Based on these things, it can be concluded that teacher creativity can be improved through strengthening learning supervision and achievement motivation

Abstract

Teacher job satisfaction is an important variable in achieving educational goals. This research aims to find a research instrument and determine priorities for action in improving teacher job satisfaction in Indonesia. This research instrument was made based on a study of concepts and theories of job satisfaction, interviews with teachers and expert considerations. The instrument is then disseminated via google form to teachers in Indonesia. The number of respondents was 449. The data analyzed by using Rasch modelling. The result of this research are: (1) there are 8 statement items from the teacher job satisfaction instrument which are stated to have validity and reliability with different criteria from conventional validity and reliability tests; (2) there are several significant differences in perceptions on the instrument items so that they can be used to determine priorities for the actions needed to increase teacher job satisfaction in Indonesia. Finally, the results of this study can be used as material for further research

Abstract

This study uses a survey method with correlational research consisting of two independent variables, namely transformational leadership and emotional intelligence and one dependent variable, namely teacher job satisfaction. This research was conducted on SD Negeri Se-Cluster 03, District of Rawamerta-Kabupaten Karawang, with a population of 170 teachers and 119 samples were selected using proportional random sampling. The data analysis used is normality test, simple regression, multiple regression, homogeneity, simple correlation, multiple correlation, and partial correlation. The results obtained are as follows: First, there is a significant positive relationship between the principal transformational leadership variable (X1) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient: ry1 = 0.5074 regression equation = 52.495 + 0.631 X1, and the coefficient of determination r2y1 = 0.2574. Second, there is a significant positive relationship between the emotional intelligence variable (X2) and teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient: ry2 = 0.5800, the regression equation = 50,953 + 0.606X2, and the coefficient of determination r2y2 = 0, 3364. Third, there is a significant positive relationship between the variables of the principal's transformational leadership (X1) and emotional intelligence (X2) together with teacher job satisfaction (Y) which is expressed in the form of a correlation coefficient ry1.2 = 0.6695, the regression equation = 12.9487 + 0.4405X1 + 0.4834X2, and the coefficient of determination r2 = 0.4482. Based on these things, it can be concluded that teacher job satisfaction can be increased through the principal's transformational leadership and emotional intelligence.
