Abstract

Ki Hadjar Dewantara, a descendant of the aristocracy of the Yogyakarta Palace, with a profound concern for education, has given rise to a philosophical concept of National Education. According to Ki Hadjar Dewantara, education is a process of guiding every inherent potential in each student to achieve the highest level of well-being and happiness as part of society. Education, as a guidance in the growth of a child's life, reflects Ki Hadjar Dewantara's belief that every development of a student is something beyond the control or will of a teacher. Just as National Education, based on Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts, the government is currently constructing a new paradigm of education that is flexible for teachers in creating classroom learning through the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach. The alignment of the flexible characteristics in the new paradigm of education with the philosophical education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara is a new hope in the development of education in Indonesia. To determine the compatibility of the concept of the new education paradigm with the implementation in the field, it is necessary to further examine the alignment of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts with the implementation of TaRL in the new education paradigm. This study employs literature review research. The results show that there is alignment between the philosophical thinking of Ki Hadjar Dewantara and the implementation of TaRL in the new education paradigm at the Senior High School level. Based on this literature review research, it can be concluded that the implementation of TaRL in schools can be considered as a manifestation of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's thoughts.

Abstract

Setelah dilakukan pemetaan oleh Tim Pengabdian Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember dan MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna, disepakati bahwa ada permasalahan prioritas yang akan diselesaikan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini. Permasalahan prioritas tersebut diantaranya Pengurus dan Santri  MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna belum memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan untuk menerapkan teknologi wetland untuk mengatasi kekeringan disekitar lokasi MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna. Solusi yang diberikan adalah memberikan pendampingan pembuatan teknologi wetland kepada Pengurus dan Santri  MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna untuk mengatasi kekeringan disekitar lokasi MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan Pengurus dan Santri  MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna dalam membuat menerapkan teknologi wetland untuk mengatasi kekeringan disekitar lokasi MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 5 (lima) tahapan pengabdian. Kelima tahapan pengabdian itu diantaranya pertama, Sosialisasi penerapan teknologi Wetland. Kedua, Pelatihan Pembuatan teknologi Wetland. Ketiga, penerapan teknologi Wetland. Keempat, pendampingan dan evaluasi penerapan teknologi Wetland. Kelima pembentukan Tim khusus pemanfaatan teknologi Wetland. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan Pengurus dan Santri  MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna Kabupaten Jember rata-rata sebesar 35. Setelah diberi pelatihan kemampuan Pengurus dan Santri  MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna Kabupaten Jember meningkat menjadi 85,71. Kegiatan pengabdian mendampingi pembuatan teknologi wetland bagi Pengurus dan Santri MCC-LKSA Nurul Husna Jember berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan peserta. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata 50,71%, dari kategori tidak terampil menjadi terampil dalam memanfaatkan teknologi wetland untuk mengatasi kekeringan di sekitar lokasi. Oleh karenanya, Pemanfaatan teknologi wetland harus dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan dalam menanggulangi banjir dan kekeringan.

Abstract

Biology learning is often perceived as difficult by students due to the abundance of abstract material, including the topic of kidney organs in the excretory system. This topic requires specific visualization to help students understand the concepts more easily and thoroughly. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based kidney organ handout as a practical learning medium to help high school students achieve mastery learning. This research employed a practicality instrument in the form of student response questionnaires and learning outcomes through a post-test. The students' practicality assessment showed a "very practical" category, with a percentage of 91.45%. Student learning outcomes after using the handout showed a minimum mastery criterion of 82.75%, exceeding the minimum threshold. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the AR-based kidney organ handout is a highly practical learning medium that can support high school students in achieving learning mastery.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi dan kesadaran guru tentang pentingnya komunitas belajar sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan inovasi pendidikan. Pelaksanaan program dibagi menjadi dua tahap utama: pendampingan guru dan pendampingan PIC sekolah. Pada tahap pertama, guru diberikan pelatihan berbasis alur MERRDEKA yang disesuaikan, meliputi refleksi diri, eksplorasi konsep, kolaborasi, demonstrasi, dan aksi nyata. Sedangkan pada tahap kedua, PIC sekolah didampingi untuk menyusun tahapan optimalisasi komunitas belajar yang melibatkan pembentukan tim kecil, penciptaan komitmen bersama, hingga berbagi praktik baik melalui PMM (Platform Merdeka Mengajar). Program ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang komunitas belajar, terbukti dari peningkatan hasil post-test yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pemahaman. Para guru juga berhasil menyusun rencana tindak lanjut untuk mengintegrasikan komunitas belajar dalam aktivitas sekolah. Bagi PIC sekolah, pendampingan menghasilkan pedoman operasional yang lebih terstruktur untuk keberlanjutan program. Dampak jangka panjang yang diharapkan adalah penguatan kompetensi guru dan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi di SMK Islam Bustanul Ulum.

Abstract

Understanding the quality of biology learning implemented by teachers in Jember is essential to pay attention to. This study aims to identify biology teachers' technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK) ability profiles. The research method combines quantitative and qualitative approaches with an explanatory sequential design. At the quantitative research stage, the questionnaire method was used as the main instrument, which was then strengthened with a qualitative approach through interviews and documentation studies. Data collection was carried out through surveys and interviews. The population of this study were biology teachers in Jember, Indonesia, with a total sample of 33 biology education teachers. The survey instrument used is based on previous research conducted by Muhaimin, with a standard validity coefficient of 0.71-0.93. The survey questionnaire was distributed using google forms, with the assistance of two high school teachers and two research assistants. The results showed that the TPACK ability of high school biology teachers in Jember was still low due to a lack of access to information about technological developments and new learning media. Information about technological developments and new learning media is only obtained from university students participating in the field experience program. Therefore, teachers must be encouraged to improve their TPACK skills to provide a more effective learning process
