Abstract

Pandemi virus Covid-19 yang masuk ke Indonesia sejak Maret 2020-2022 di Indonesia berangsur pulih. Selama hampir lebih satu tahun pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, dilanjutkan pertemuan tatap muka terbatas (PTMT), hingga 2023 diijinkan secara luring dan normal kembali. Anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan usia paling rentan terkena penularan virus, sehingga perlu diberikan perhatian dan edukasi secara intens agar memahami dan dapat melaksanakan protokol kesehatan dengan baik dan benar. Solusi permasalahan diberikan dengan memberikan edukasi literasi berbasis etnosains melalui proyek pembuatan larutan hand sanitezer dan desinfektan menggunakan bahan lokal daerah yang melimpah di Kampung Maibo. Sebagai program berkelanjutan cepat tanggap pandemi penyakit yang merebak secara global. Metode kegiatan ini diawali dengan demonstrasi yang melibatkan siswa, pemaparan singkat, percobaan sederhana, aplikasi produk, dan penekanan materi serta edukasi untuk selalu menjaga kebersihan dan kesehatan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kreatifitas psikomotorik siswa, berpikir kritis dan kesadaran untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

In the province of West Papua, there are four districts that are the main focus in improving literacy skills. One of them is Raja Ampat district which is in the 4th position for low literacy rates with a population distribution in the Regency with a population distribution in Raja Ampat district spread across 24 Districts/Sub-districts with 6 Districts having a density above 45.80 people/km2. In this study, the researcher focused on one of the areas in the South Misool district, namely Dabatan village. Dabatan village is one of the villages located on the coast in the South Misool district, Raja Ampat district, West Papua province. Interactive literacy learning for elementary school children to instill early foundations is very necessary because it will improve the various competencies that children must have. The learning process for elementary school children is very important so that in the process of implementing KKN-T, researchers launched a literacy class program in order to foster children's interest in reading, the application of which is not only in school but also outside school. Of the several existing methods, the learning while playing method is the method that most increases children's interest in reading. In this case, the method used is reading while singing using the letter garden and writing letters using the 4-line method. Literacy classes are held once a week, namely on Saturdays, the place is adjusted to the comfort of the students. The implementation method applied in this literacy class is the concept of playing while learning. This method was chosen by looking at the need to handle the lack of basic literacy skills. The participants involved in this activity were elementary school children of SD Negeri 23 Dabatan

Abstract

This study aims to determine: The effectiveness of blended learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the factors that influence it during the covid-19 pandemic. The study used qualitative methods with interview and documentation data collection techniques. The subjects in the study were teachers and students of MI Quba Sorong City. Data analysis used an interactive model from Milles and Huberman. The results of the study show that: the effectiveness of blended learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is quite effective during the current pandemic. This can be seen from the completeness of the student's KKM which has increased from before. Students' enjoyment of blended learning is varied. then the teacher gives rewards to student learning outcomes so that students are more motivated in teaching and learning activities and stimulate other students to be more enthusiastic about improving learning outcomes. Time is flexible because the level of completion of students is different. As for the supporting factors to train students to be more independent, students can also search for information on the internet. While the inhibiting factors, teachers must-have skills, teachers need time to prepare learning, constrained internet network facilities and not all students have mobile phones.

Abstract

The aims of this study are: 1) to find out what cultural values ​​are developing in MI Al-Ma'arif 1 Sorong Regency, 2) to find out the characteristics of character cultural values ​​that develop in MI Al-Ma'arif 1 Sorong Regency, and 3) knowing the pattern of character culture education that has been applied. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The research subjects were students of MI Al-Ma'arif 01 Sorong Regency. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires are used as supporting data in analyzing student character. The data analysis technique used the percentage technique. A series of values, norms, traditions, and habits are set by the school as a guide for school members in thinking, acting, and acting. The results of this study indicate that there are several customary activities implemented at the school, including the culture of greeting, praying sunnah dhuha, reading the Qur'an, praying before and after studying and paying infaq every Friday.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the role of teachers in shaping self-confidence in SD IES Al-Ghuroba, Sorong Regency. Overcoming the collapse of the character is to eliminate or improve the factors that cause it. There are five areas of education that can foster good character, namely: family, self, school, environment, and society. The development of national character is a collective commitment of the Indonesian people to face today's global demands. This study aims to determine the efforts of teachers in shaping the confident character of students and also the obstacles faced by teachers in shaping the confident character of students and their solutions. To achieve the above objectives, the type of research used in this research is qualitative research. Based on the results of direct observations and interviews between researchers and principals, teachers, and students at SD IES Al-Ghuroba. The results of the study indicate the efforts made by the teacher namely: giving motivation to students, giving praise or gifts, and often presenting them in front of their friends in turn in class. The obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the confidence of students are the mindset of students who are different and there are still some students who lack self-confidence. Therefore, the solution taken by the teacher as an educator is to try as much as possible to guide and provide strong motivation and encouragement to students so that they have self-confidence

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the ability of students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in solving science learning problems. Therefore, a learning model is needed to improve students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) abilities. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is a model that is very possible to be able to develop HOTS. Participants are trained to be able to design science learning based on the PBL model so that learning objectives related to the development of HOTS for students are achieved properly. The PBL model has learning stages in the form of 1) the orientation of the educated to the problem; 2) organizing learners to learn; 3) guiding individual or group investigations; 4) develop and present the work; and 5) analyze and evaluate problem solving. Therefore, the PBL model can help develop higher order thinking skills in science learning in elementary schools
