Abstract

Theft and disturbance of wild animals in fish ponds is still a serious challenge that has not been optimally handled by conventional security systems. This research designed an IoT-based security system using Arduino Uno R3, PIR sensors, buzzers, and LEDs as an effective and economical solution. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the stages of design, implementation, and testing. The results of the functional test showed that the PIR sensor detected movement up to 7 meters with a response of 0.2 seconds, while the notification system worked effectively. Field simulations recorded 87% accuracy and the system remained stable in the operational conditions of the pool. User surveys resulted in an average score of 4.5 out of 5. The system offers novelty in simple yet reliable integration for an open environment. Implicitly, this technology can significantly improve pond safety and is easily adopted by small-scale fish farmers. Keywords: Arduino, PIR sensor, Pool security

Abstract

Desa Cijambu merupakan sebuah wilayah yang berada di Kecamatan Tanjungsari, Kabupaten Sumedang, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Hasil analisis permasalahan di Desa Cijambu  banyaknya hasil pertanian singkong yang belum dapat diolah secara maksimal, terdapat banyak warga miskin dan pengangguran yang perlu diberdayakan. Di Desa Cijambu juga terdapat banyak tempat wisata namun belum memiliki produk unggulan Desa yang dapat menjadi ciri khas oleh-oleh yang mana jika dikelola dapat memberikan pemasukan keuntungan untuk warga Desa Cijambu. Sehingga dengan potensi banyaknya wisatawan yang datang setiap minggunya, di Desa Cijambu perlu ada pemanfaatan sumber daya alam singkong yang melimpah yang dapat diolah menjadi produk unggulan desa tersebut. Dimana produk unggulan yang akan dikembangkan adalah hasil dari penelitian tim sebelumnya di desa tersebut. Penelitian cara pembuatan tepung mocaf dan desain kemasan yang cocok diminati oleh konsumen. Dimana tepung mocaf hasil penelitian yang berbahan dasar singkong ini yang merupakan salah satu sumber daya yang ada di desa tersebut merupakan tepung yang rendah gluten dan memiliki warna lebih putih dari warna tepung pada umumnya sehingga memiliki keunggulan produk dibanding dengan produk tepung pada umumnya. Sehingga dalam pengabdian pemberdayaan masyarakat ini. Warga akan dilatih bagaimana cara memproduksi tepung mocaf, manajemen usaha dari hulu ke hilir. Sebagai pemasaran digital tepung mocaf akan dibuat website khusus pemasaran tepung mocaf, yang mana kemudian warga akan diajarkan cara mengelolanya. Kemudian warga juga akan dilatih bagaimana melakukan pemasaran di marketplace pemasaran digital yang sudah ada yang banyak masyarakat umum sudah mengenalnya. Diharapkan pemberdayaan ini dapat menekan angka kemiskinan dan pengangguran Desa Cijambu, mewujudkan kemandirian ekonomi. Sehingga dapat menghasikan UMKM baru yang dapat menyokong perekonomian daerah dan negara Indonesia.

Abstract

Universities in the Tri Dharma universities at the Nusantara Islamic University (UNINUS) and the Nahdlatul Ulama School of Economics(STIENU) are highly expected to carry out research in developing appropriate technology and expertise that can build a community empowerment economy that is beneficial for development in a region. This research focuses on research regarding the concept of competency-based education in Sharia Marketing and Marketing Work Area courses. This course is very important to be developed according to the KKNI because it contains fulfillment of the State's needs in the development of Sharia Marketing, Marketing Science and the development of Islamic-based logistics and distribution. Development for the industrial world in filling students' competency dimensions. Once the competencies of PT graduate students begin to be honed, it is hoped that students/graduates will be able to apply and teach them to the community in the form of developing non-formal vocational education so that both PT students/graduates will maintain their competency and the community will feel that their ability to face the job market and be able to create jobs will increase. together, which has an impact on increasing income for the community and reducing unemployment rates in the community.

Abstract

COVID-19, short for Coronavirus Disease 2019, is caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. This virus emerged in Wuhan, China. In early January 2020, Chinese authorities identified a new coronavirus, which was later named SARS-CoV-2 due to its genetic similarity to the SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) virus. Global Spread: In January 2020, cases of COVID-19 were reported in several countries, leading the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare it a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on January 30, 2020. Pandemic Declaration: On March 11, 2020, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic because the virus had spread globally, affecting many countries and causing significant illness and death. Global Response: Governments around the world implemented a variety of measures to control the spread of the virus, including lockdowns, travel restrictions, social distancing guidelines, mask mandates, and vaccination campaigns. Impact: COVID-19 has had a major impact on public health, economies and societies around the world. The disease is burdening healthcare systems in many countries, causing disruption to daily life, business, education and travel. Vaccine Development: Efforts to develop a vaccine against COVID-19 began in early 2020. Continuing Variants and Challenges: The virus continues to evolve, causing the emergence of new variants. Long-Term Implications: In mid-2024, COVID-19 will still be a global health problem.

Abstract

In the industrial sector, the quality of a product is a very important factor. The quality of the resulting product is determined based on the measurement or assessment of certain characteristics. PT. Smart Teknik Utama is a manufacturing company that produces railroad parts, one of which is the Deflector Axel Counter. This study was conducted to determine whether the existence of the production process of making this Axel Deflector Counter within the limits of statistical control or not, by using a statistical control tool, namely Statistical Process Control. The results of the analysis using the Xbar-R control chart for the type of variable defect & the P control chart for the type of attribute defect indicate that there are points outside the control limits, meaning that the production process is not under control or there are still deviations. Then identified using a fishbone diagram that the factors causing product defects come from the method, machine, man, material, and environment. After knowing the factors causing the disability, a proposed improvement was made using the 5W1H concept. The improvement proposals obtained include the need for more thorough inspection of the materials used, supervision and re-checking of the machines to be used, improving work methods for the better, providing skills training for operators, and providing safety & comfort to operators during the production process.

Abstract

This study aims to create innovation in local rice-based food products by developing Rice Crunchy as a traditional snack with a modern touch, as well as to evaluate its characteristics and consumer acceptance. The research employed an experimental approach using a simple Research and Development (R&D) method, which included stages of raw material identification, product formulation, production process, and evaluation of product characteristics and consumer acceptance. Product evaluation was conducted through an organoleptic test involving 50 untrained panelists, assessing parameters of color, taste, texture, and overall preference using a 1–5 hedonic scale. The results showed that Rice Crunchy had a crispy texture, a slightly brownish white color, a distinctive rice aroma, and a sweet and savory taste. The organoleptic test results indicated that most panelists gave scores of 4 and 5 for each evaluation parameter, suggesting a high level of consumer acceptance. In addition, the use of plastic pouch packaging was considered effective in maintaining product quality and enhancing visual appeal. Therefore, the Rice Crunchy product innovation has the potential to become an alternative local food-based snack that can increase the added value of rice commodities while supporting food diversification.
