Abstract

The character crisis among teenagers, especially among high school students, is a complex challenge in the current educational context. Signs of this problem can be seen from an increase in negative attitudes, including decreased ethics in communication, reduced respect for teachers, and low attention to the social environment. At SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Boja, this issue is also felt, especially due to the influence of the external environment, developments in digital technology, and limited comprehensive moral development. This research aims to examine the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in overcoming the character crisis problem and forming student behavior with good character. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review, observation and interview approach. The results of this research show that PAI has a significant impact in shaping students' character through comprehensive teaching methods, religious activity habits, and examples from teachers. Routine activities such as morning tadarus, midday prayers, memorizing verses and hadith, as well as implementing daily adab are effective means of instilling strong religious values. Apart from that, the values ​​of cooperation, togetherness and the spirit of doing good with sincere intentions are promoted in every activity, both formal and informal.

Abstract

The prevalence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is very high, which it is estimated that every day 40-45 new cases appear. The purpose of this study was to describe nurses’ attitude about pap smear as an early detection of cervical cancer in a hospital in western Indonesia. The research method was used descriptive quantitative with purposive sampling technique. The results of this study shows that most of the respondents have the positive attitude in performing pap smears in the Western Indonesia hospitals with the percentage of 97,5% and the rest indicate negative attitude. The conclusion of this study is that the positive attitude of nurses towards early detection of pap smears is expected to be maintained and furthermore the hospital continues to provide health facilities for female nurses to carry out early detection of cervical cancer as an annual program from hospital.

Abstract

ASI eksklusif adalah bahwa bayi hanya diberi ASI saja, tanpa tambahan lainnya. Tingkat pemberian ASI eksklusif bisa berhasil sukses dengan adanya dorongan suami kepada ibu menyusuidalam memberikan ASI pada bayi. Mengetahui dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif padaibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi 6-12 bulan di Posyandu Desa Kebonagung Kecamatan SawahanKabupaten Nganjuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di PosyanduDesa Kebonagung Kecamatan Sawahan Kabupaten Nganjuk. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ibumenyusui yang memiliki bayi 6-12 bulan di posyandu Desa Kebonagung Kecamatan SawahanKabupaten Nganjuk sebanyak 28 ibu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 28 responden denganteknik sampling “total sampling”. Variabel penelitian ini yaitu dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASIeksklusif pada ibu menyusui yang memiliki bayi usia 6-12 bulan. Pengumpulan data menggunakankuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 28 responden hampir setengahnya yaitu 12responden (43%) mendapatkan dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif kategori rendah,hampir setengahnya yaitu 10 responden (36%) mendapatkan dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASIeksklusif kategori sedang, dan sebagian kecil yaitu 6 responden (21%) mendapatkan dukungan suamidalam pemberian ASI eksklusif kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa hampir setengahnyayaitu 12 responden (43%) mendapatkan dukungan suami dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif kategorirendah. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan suami, pendapatan keluarga dan kurangnyainformasi yang diterima ibu. Oleh karena peran suami penting dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif, makasuami harus dijadikan sasaran penyuluhan ASI dan didorong untuk lebih aktif mencari informasimengenai ASI eksklusif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of Koppontren and innovation of Islamic boarding school products towards economic independence with entrepreneurial motivation as a mediating variable in Ngalah Pasuruan Islamic boarding school. This study uses a quantitative approach with the technique of partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 98 students at Ngalah Pasuruan Islamic boarding school. The results of the study indicate that Koppontren performance and innovation of Islamic boarding school products have a positive and significant effect on economic independence. Furthermore, Koppontren Performance and innovation of Islamic boarding school products have a negative and insignificant effect on economic independence through entrepreneurial motivation as a mediating variable. This finding shows that the institutional performance of Koppontren and Islamic boarding school efforts in carrying out product innovation, both through product development, is unable to increase the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools if their influence is channeled through entrepreneurial motivation. This study contributes to empirical evidence in Islamic boarding school management and entrepreneurship, institutional economics, and Islamic boarding school-based social entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Background: Raising children with disabilities can be a heavy burden for families which ultimately has a negative impact on the child. Many studies recommend the need for social support for parents. Although the need for social support has been widely reported, the impact of social support for parents with disabilities children in the literature is very diverse. Purpose: This study aims to map and synthesize the existing evidence on the impact of social support for parents of children with disabilities, particularly in identifying its effects on parents, families, and children, as well as to provide a comprehensive understanding that can inform future interventions and support strategies. Methods: Therefore, a scoping review was conducted to identify the impact of social support for parents of children with special needs in international studies. A comprehensive search strategy was employed across multiple electronic databases, including PubMed, Taylor and Francis, Wiley Online library, dan Google Scholar. Results: The database search identified a total of 423 potentially relevant articles. After screening titles and abstracts, 28 potentially relevant articles were identified. All 28 articles were assessed at full-text level, resulting in 10 relevant articles for analysisTen studies were included in the review, from which positive impacts of social support for parents with disability children were identified on parents themselves, families, and children. The positive impacts of social support on parents were increasing resilience, coping skill, parenting efficacy, parenting mental health literacy and decreasing psychological distress and depression-anxiety symptoms. The impacts for parents are also buffering effect on parenteral stress-depression, parenteral stress-efficacy and parents’ satisfaction, positive affect, and depression. The positive impacts on the family increasing family psychological health and family quality of life, and decreasing family burden. Social support is also buffering the effect on family burden-psychological health and resilience. The positive impacts on children are decreasing the emotional and behavioural problem, Conclusion: Social support for parents of children with disabilities has many positive impacts on the parents themselves, the family, and the child. Through identifying the benefits of social support, direction can be provided for interventions by enabling professionals to detect and address available social support.

Abstract

This research investigates the integration of deep learning principles with cognitive theories to facilitate data processing instruction among elementary school pupils. Primarily, a descriptive qualitative methodology was used, supplemented by quantitative evidence. The study involved 20 fifth-grade students across three intensive instructional sessions. Instruments for data gathering comprised pre- and post-assessments, direct observation of participants, semi-structured interviews, and records of classroom proceedings. Mean scores improved markedly from 58.4 to 82.6, signifying substantial advancement in conceptual mastery. Moreover, participants' learning behaviors transformed notably: they now engage actively, formulate reasoned arguments, and adeptly discern data insights beyond rote computation. Observations in the classroom illustrated students' progression from difficulty differentiating raw numerical values from their meanings to linking them to practical contexts, for instance, estimating household shopping expenditures. The scaffolded instructional framework, which connects theoretical abstractions to everyday activities through experiential exercises, demonstrated efficacy in enhancing long-term conceptual retention. Empirically, this method underscores deep learning's role as a vital conduit from mechanical repetition to genuine comprehension in foundational mathematics. This pedagogical strategy holds immediate relevance and necessitates widespread adoption to rectify curriculum deficiencies rooted in procedural superficiality, particularly in under-resourced educational settings.
