Abstract

Introduction: Adolescent fertility caused various negative consequences starting from the occurrence of adolescent fertility include health, social and economic impacts. Purpose: to study the determinants of adolescent fertility in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara. Methods: This study uses secondary survey data in the 2017 IDHS. The sample was adolescents aged 15-19 years who were recorded as selected samples in East Nusa Tenggara Province as many as 401 adolescents. Analysis using multiple logistic regression with predictive factor model. Results: The highest aOR value is marital status 17.25 (95% CI 6.60-45.04). Education only finished elementary school aOR 4.94 (95%CI 1.08-22.45). Never accessed the internet aOR 3.37 (95%CI 0.85-13.37). For every 1 year increase in adolescent age, the odds increased by 3.32 (95% CI 1.71-6.46) or 19 years old had the highest odds. Didn’t work aOR 3.00 (95% CI 0.71-12.66). Living in rural areas aOR 2.55 (95%CI 0.53-12.13). Low knowledge of family planning methods has an AOR of 0.26 (0.05-1.22). Conclusion: The determinants of adolescent fertility in NTT Province are age, education, occupation, marital status, place of residence, internet use and knowledge of family planning methods.

Abstract

Background: Postpartum blues is one of three categories of psychological disorders in the postpartum period. Symptoms caused by mothers are easy to cry, feel lost, feel they have more responsibility, fatigue, unstable mood and difficulty concentrating, and feelings of mothers who are more sensitive to irritability. In addition, postpartum blues can also lead to disturbances in eating and sleeping patterns in postpartum mothers. In various references, it is stated that the onset of postpartum blues is influenced by several factors, including a history of childbirth. Objective: This research is aimed to analyze the relationship between a history of normal delivery with intervention with the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers in the working area of The Public Health Center of Wara of Palopo City. Method: This research is quantitative research with an analytical survey method using cross-sectional study approach. The sample is the seventh to the fourteenth day of postpartum mothers with accidental sampling technique with a total sample of 31 people. Data analysis using Chi-Square test with a degree of significance 95% (α=0.05). Result: There is a significant relationship between the history of normal delivery with intervention with the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers at the Public Health Center of Wara, Palopo City (p = 0.014). Conclusion: A history of normal delivery with good measures of labor induction, rupture, and episiotomy is associated with the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers at the Public Health Center of Wara, Palopo City.

Abstract

Background: Lecture is a dominant learning method that still used in teaching process. This method only focuses to lecturer and does not involving students’ participation enough. Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning method that could activate students’ participation, but it has many obstacles on its implementation. Asynchronous blended problem-based learning (ABLE PBL) is an innovative learning method that adopts (Problem Based Learning) PBL learning principles and it is expected to reduce problems in implementing PBL. This study was conducted to analyze the students’ knowledge between ABLE PBL method and lecture and to describe students’ perceptions towards ABLE PBL.Methods: A modified crossover design was conducted to determine students’ knowledge and descriptive study for students’ perception among a total sampling of 44 students who enrolled the third semester at Departement of Midwifery, Diploma Program at Dharma Husada Bandung Health College. It used Mann Whitney test to analyze students’ knowledge to each chapterResult: The result showed that there is no difference significantly of students’ knowledge between two groups for both chapters, ABLE PBL does not influence students’ knowledge but students’s perception about ABLE PBL is positive because the respondent experienced new method of learning. Conclusion: In conclusion, there are no differences between two groups significantly for each chapter with p value bigger than 0.05, yet ABLE PBL could give a positve perception to students.

Abstract

The learning process in the Merdeka Campus is one of the most essential manifestations of student centered learning. Learning at the Merdeka Campus is a challenge and opportunity to develop innovation, provide creativity, capacity, personality, and student needs, as well as develop independence in finding and discovering knowledge through realities and field dynamics such as needs, real problems, social interaction, collaboration, self-management, performance , targets and performance. Through the Merdeka Learning program that is well designed and implemented, students' hard skills and soft skills will be formed strongly. Methods: The type of research used is a mixed method, between qualitative and quantitative. This research is located at Mega Buana University, Palopo. The research was carried out in December 2021. The research population was all leaders of Mega Buana Palopo University, Lecturers, Tendik and Students of Mega Buana Palopo University. This study was conducted on the entire population. Data was collected through focus group discussions, interviews and using a questionnaire. Discussion Results: Mega Buana Palopo University has run several programs that support the MBKM program, such as student apprenticeships, independent student projects, KKN, Mega Buana University can optimize the collaborative learning process for students, Mega Buana Palopo University can run MBKM programs optimally starting from Internal PT, Mega Buana University can increase link and match with industry by making Industrial Practitioners as teaching lecturers as well as increasing student apprenticeships according to the industrial sector

Abstract

Background: Independent Campus is one of the policies of the Minister of Education and Culture who gave a university policy to give the right to study for three semesters outside the study program. The Independent Learning Policy of the Kampus Merdeka is to encourage students to master various fields of knowledge according to their fields of expertise so that they are ready to compete in the global world. Objective: This study aims to measure the knowledge of students and education staff in implementing the Merdeka Belajar program at Kampus Merdeka within the scope of the Midwifery Professional Education Study Program, Faculty of Health, Mega Buana Palopo University. Method: This research is quantitative research with an analytical survey method. The sample is midwifery students and educational staff with total sampling technique of 210 people. Data analysis using computer program. Result: Respondents' knowledge about the implementation of MBKM is in the fairly good category with the number of respondents who answered quite well is 107 people (50.9 percents). Conclusion: Respondents' knowledge about the implementation of MBKM is in the fairly good category

Abstract

AIDS adalah suatu masalah besar dari kehidupan kita semua.Terlebih lagi ,Komisi Penanggulangan Aids (KPA) Sulsel, menyatakan pada 2017 lalu, Sulsel darurat HIV/AIDS. Pasalnya, hingga Juni 2017 tercatat penderita HIV/Aids di Sulsel mencapai 11.710 orang. Masing-masing 8.192 mengidap HIV dan 3518 mengidap AIDS. Sedangkan pada tahun 2016 ada 74 kasus HIV AIDS di Palopo, di mana diperkirakan akan semakin meningkat pada berikutnya, dengan pertimbangan-pertimbangan dan alasan itulah kami sebagai mahasiswi kesehatan , sebagai bagian dari anggota masyarakat dan sebagai generasi penerus bangsa, merasa perlu memperhatikan hal tersebut. Inilah yang mendasari mengapa kami merasa  patut dan harus memberikan edukasi kepada kaum remaja siswa (i) sekolah menengah atas (SMA) tentang bahaya virus HIV, oleh karena itu kami memutuskan untuk melakukan penyuluhan mengenai hal ini di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Palopo, dimana di harapkan setelah melakukan penyuluhan , pengetahuan siswa (i) tentang HIV AIDS dapat bertambah, serta dapat di implementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari melalui upaya-upaya yang dapat menurunkan resiko penyebaran virus ini.

Abstract

Pembelajaran dalam Kampus Merdeka memberikan tantangan dan kesempatan untuk pengembangan inovasi, kreativitas, kapasitas, kepribadian, dan kebutuhan mahasiswa, serta mengembangkan kemandirian dalam mencari dan menemukan pengetahuan melalui kenyataan dan dinamika lapangan seperti persyaratan kemampuan, permasalahan riil, interaksi sosial, kolaborasi, manajemen diri, tuntutan kinerja, target dan pencapaiannya. Melalui program Merdeka Belajar yang dirancang dan diimplementasikan dengan baik, maka hard skill dan soft skills mahasiswa akan terbentuk dengan kuat. Kegiatan ini berlokasi di Universitas Mega Buana Palopo yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2021. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah seluruh pimpinan Universitas Mega Buana Palopo, Dosen, Tendik dan Mahasiswa Universitas Mega Buana Palopo. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui focus grup diskusi, wawancara dan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil didapatkan bahwa Universitas Mega Buana Palopo telah menjalankan beberapa program yang mendukung program MBKM, seperti pemagangan mahasiswa, projek independent mahasiswa, KKN, Universitas Mega Buana dapat mengoptimalkan proses pembelajaran kolaboratif bagi mahasiswa, Universitas Mega Buana Palopo dapat menjalankan secara optimal program MBKM mulai dari tingkat Internal PT, Universitas Mega Buana dapat meningkatkan link and match dengan industri dengan menjadikan Praktisi Industri sebagai dosen pengajar serta peningkatan pemagangan mahasiswa sesuai pada sektor industry.

Abstract

Senam nifas bermanfaat untuk memulihkan kembali kekuatan otot-otot dasar panggul, mengencangkan otot-otot pada dinding perut dan perineum, membantu membentuk sikap tubuh lebih baik dan mencegah terjadinya komplikasi. Senam nifas mampu mencegah terjadinya komplikasi perdarahan post partum secara dini. Saat melaksanakan senam nifas, akan terjadi kontraksi otot-otot perut yang membantu dalam proses involusi uteris yang dimulai setelah lahirnya plasenta. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan kader Kesehatan mengenai senam nifas serta dapat mempraktikkan pada ibu post partum sebagai salah satu upaya dalam pencegahan perdarahan pasca melahirkan di Klinik Sehat Zam-Zam Kota Palopo Tahun 2024. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh mahasiswa yang didampingi oleh dosen. Metode pelaksanaan yaitu pemanfaatan kader Kesehatan dalam pelaksanaan senam nifas dan dapat memberikan bekal pengetahuan tentang manfaat dan pelaksanaan senam nifas pada ibu nifas di Klinik Sehat Zam-Zam. Dari hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan pengetahuan ibu akan bertambah dan pola pikir ibu menjadi lebih baik sehingga ibu nifas termotivasi untuk melaksanakan senam nifas dengan didampingi kader.
