Abstract

This study shows that there is an analysis of the use of language variations in the acquisition of the first language for toddlers who are in the family environment. Language acquisition has a very close relationship with language use. Language variations used in the family environment can affect a toddler's ability to develop the ability to communicate well with parents and those around them. This study took research subjects on children from the age of 3 years to 5 years. Thus, analysis of linguistic data will be a reference material in finding variations of the language obtained

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine what grammatical aspects are used in the Sentilan Sentilun discourse "DPR Library for Whom?" and what grammatical aspects are most dominantly used in the discourse. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research needs to be done to find out the grammatical aspects of Sentilan Sentilun discourse. In addition, this research is also expected to add the enrichment of research on talk show discourse. This study uses discourse analysis techniques. The data source in this study is the Sentilan Sentilun talk show "DPR Library for Whom?". The data in this study are lingual units in the form of words, clauses, or sentences contained in the speech of the Sentilan Sentilun talk show " DPR Library for Whom?". The data in the study were analyzed using discourse analysis techniques, namely descriptive text analysis, interpretation, and explanation. The results of this study found several grammatical aspects contained in the Sentilan Sentilun text, including references, substitutions, ellipsis, and conjunctions. There are 3 forms of reference grammatical aspects: personal reference, demonstrative reference, and comparative reference. Persona references are 195, demonstrative references are 274, and comparative references are 2. The following grammatical aspect is substitution. The substitution in the Sentilan Sentilun talk show discourse is only in 2 clauses. In addition, the discourse of the Sentilan Sentilun talk show, grammatical aspects of the ellipsis were also found. The ellipsis contained in the discourse consists of 20 words, 31 phrases, 2 clauses, and 1 sentence. While the grammatical aspects of conjunctions are found in several forms, causality is 20 contradictions, 31 excesses 5, objectives 1, additives 20, as many as 13 alternatives, and sequential as many as 7. The dominant grammatical aspect that appears is the demonstrative reference, with a total 274. Keyword: discourse analysis, talkshow discourse, grammatical aspects.

Abstract

Storytelling is one of the media for preserving culture and language that can be developed. One of the Sasak tribe's folktales often used as storytelling material include Putri Mandalika, Tegodek-Godek, and Tuntel. This study aims to describe the use of storytelling in the Qur’anic Learning Center (TPA) located in Setiling Village. Using a qualitative descriptive method, the study reveals that Sasak folktales are utilized by teachers as material for storytelling activities in the TPA. Additionally, the study highlights the benefits of storytelling in increasing students' reading interest, particularly in Sasak folktales. Through storytelling, students not only receive entertainment but also learn about cultural values embedded in the stories. This activity introduces and preserves local culture among the younger generation, supports literacy development, and fosters an early appreciation for the richness of regional heritage, making storytelling an effective method for combining education and cultural preservation..

Abstract

ABSTRACT Taboo language is a type of language that is prohibited to use in everyday communication. In addition to violating the ethics of politeness in communication, it is also very worrying if spoken to children because it can affect the development of the child's language. The influence of taboo language in Bahasa Sasak on the development of children's language is the focus of this study. The purpose of this study is to describe the influence of taboo language in Bahasa Sasak on the development of children's language in Jero Puri Village (Psycholinguistic study). This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study use interview, recording, and tapping techniques. The results of this study are: (1) family domain, taboo language that is often spoken in the family domain such as: godek, basong, bawi, batu mate, tolang tele ninaq; (2) community domain, taboo language is also often spoken in the community environment such as: setan, ubek, basong. In conclusion, the influence of taboo language in Bahasa Sasak on the development of children's language is in the family and community domains. Several families and the community in general often speak the language. Keywords: Taboo Language, Children’s Language Development, Bahasa Sasak ABSTRAK Bahasa tabu merupakan jenis bahasa yang dilarang untuk digunakan dalam komunikasi sehari-hari. Selain melanggar etika sopan santun dalam komunikasi, juga sangat dikhawatirkan bila diucapkan kepada anak-anak karena dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan bahasa anak tersebut. Pengaruh bahasa tabu dalam bahasa sasak terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan tentang pengaruh bahasa tabu dalam bahasa Sasak terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak di Desa Jero Puri (Kajian psikolinguistik). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, rekam, dan sadap. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) ranah keluarga, bahasa tabu yang sering diucapkan dalam ranah keluarga seperti: godek, basong, bawi, batu mate, tolang tele ninaq; (2) ranah masyarakat, bahasa tabu juga kerap diucapkan dalam lingkungan masyarakat seperti: setan, ubek, basong. Kesimpulannya, pengaruh bahasa tabu dalam bahasa sasak terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak terdapat dalam ranah keluarga dan masyarakat. Beberapa keluarga dan masyarakat secara umum kerap mengucapkan bahasa tersebut.

Abstract

Pelatihan geopartnerschools-21st century skills ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi efektif siswa dalam presentasi materi geografi dengan bahasa Indonesia yang menarik. Pelatihan komunikasi efektif dalam konteks pembelajaran geografi mengadopsi pendekatan yang berpusat pada praktik, memungkinkan siswa untuk memperoleh keterampilan komunikasi melalui latihan dan umpan balik. Pelatihan yang terstruktur dan berorientasi pada praktik telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi siswa dalam berbagai konteks. Pelatihan ini mencakup hal-hal berikut; (1) pemaparan karakteristik materi geografi, (2) pemaparanteknik presentasi yang memikat, (3) praktik presentasi, (4) evaluasi dan umpan balik. Peserta terdiri dari 30 Siswa Kelas XII SMA Pus Tajul Karomah Selong Lombok Timur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 4 Juli 2024. Kegiatan Geopartnerschools-21st Century Skills ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam presentasi materi presentasi materi geografi dengan bahasa Indonesia dengan teknik yang memikat. Melalui pelatihan ini siswa memperoleh pengalaman yang bermakna dalam menyampaikan informasi secara menarik dan efektif.

Abstract

The use of language variations for content creators is one of the choices to provide uniqueness in each content created. The choice of language is evident in several variations, including Indonesian, Sasak, code switching from Indonesian to regional languages, and the use of slang. This study aims to describe the various language variations that are the choice of content creators on Facebook social media. The method in this study is documentation and data transcription. The results of this study are to describe the languages ​​​​that are the choice of content creators on Facebook social media, as well as to describe the factors causing these language variations.

Abstract

Sengketa Tata Usaha Negara (TUN) di Proses demokratisasi dan otoritarianisme merupakan dua kutub kekuatan politik yang terus berinteraksi dan saling memengaruhi dalam konteks globalisasi kontemporer. Dinamika perubahan politik di berbagai negara menunjukkan bahwa globalisasi tidak hanya mempercepat penyebaran nilai-nilai demokrasi, tetapi juga membuka peluang bagi kebangkitan kembali otoritarianisme dalam bentuk yang lebih adaptif. Demokratisasi, yang ditandai oleh keterbukaan politik, partisipasi publik, dan supremasi hukum, sering kali menghadapi tantangan serius ketika berhadapan dengan rezim otoriter yang menggunakan teknologi, populisme, dan kontrol informasi untuk mempertahankan kekuasaan. Fenomena ini tampak jelas di negara-negara berkembang maupun maju, di mana konsolidasi demokrasi sering kali terhambat oleh korupsi, polarisasi sosial, lemahnya institusi, dan intervensi aktor-aktor transnasional. Dalam konteks ini, globalisasi menjadi medan pertarungan ideologi yang kompleks, memunculkan pertanyaan mendasar mengenai keberlanjutan demokrasi sebagai model pemerintahan universal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis interaksi antara demokratisasi dan otoritarianisme, mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor pendorong dan penghambat konsolidasi demokrasi, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan utama yang muncul di era globalisasi. Melalui pendekatan analitis dan komparatif, kajian ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis bagi penguatan demokrasi dan tata kelola politik yang lebih inklusif.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has a significant impact on the formation of the social identity of the younger generation. Social media, digital spaces, and virtual culture are becoming new arenas where individuals construct, negotiate, and display their identities. This article aims to analyze the transformation of the social identity of the young generation in the digital era through sociological and cultural anthropological approaches. This study focuses on how interactions in virtual spaces shape patterns of communication, self-representation, and social relationships that are different from traditional patterns. This study uses a qualitative method based on literature studies and phenomenological observations on the behavior of the young generation on social media. The results show that digitalization drives a shift in values, where identity is no longer static, but fluid, plural, and often determined by algorithms and global popular culture dynamics. The identity of the younger generation is increasingly influenced by digital practices such as self-branding, the use of visual symbols, and participation in online communities. However, this transformation also raises paradoxes: on the one hand it expands the space of freedom of expression, but on the other hand increases vulnerability to cultural homogenization, social pressures and crises of authenticity. This article concludes that the transformation of social identity in the digital age must be understood as a continuous negotiation process between local values, globalization, and the influence of technology. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of digital literacy and cultural awareness as a strategy to strengthen the identity of the young generation to remain critical, reflective, and adaptive in the face of rapid social change.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kesadaran bahwa pemertahanan Bahasa daerah khususnya Bahasa Sasak di kalangan anak usia dini perlu ditumbuh kembangkan. Hal tersebut sebagai upaya memperkenalkan sekaligus mengajarkan betapa pentingnya penggunaan Bahasa daerah dalam upaya pemertahanan Bahasa daerah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini dengan adalah metode partisipatif, dengan menekankan pada keikutsertaan penuh dari peserta dalam proses sosialisasi, bukan hanya metode ceramah. Berpusat pada peserta artinya peserta digiring untuk mencari, menemukan dan memperoleh pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan secara mandiri. Peserta melakukan praktik penilaian langsung di kelas real tempat mereka mengajar. Tindak lanjut dari kegitan sosialisasi adalah kegiatan pendampingan. Pendampingan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk lebih menguatkan dan memperdalam pemahaman orang tua dan guru dalam mengenalkan Bahasa daerah Kepada anak usia dini di lingkungan masing-masing. Sehingga kedepannya, Diharapkan makin banyak analk-anak dari usia dini memiliki kecintaan terhadap Bahasa daerah mereka.

Abstract

Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) plays a very active role as a regional promotional media. In this research, BIPA plays an active role as a regional promotional media, especially in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). In this case, Mandalika utilizes natural resources and the cultural diversity of the local community as a tourist attraction that is introduced to foreign speakers. With the active role of BIPA, Mandalika has become a very popular tourist destination both locally, nationally and internationally. The aim of this research is to describe the role of BIPA as a regional promotional media in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK). Meanwhile, the method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this research are: (1) BIPA as a tourism promotion media in the Mandalika Special Economic Zone; (2) BIPA as a media for promoting religious culture; (3) BIPA as a media for promoting the art of Gendang Belek; (4) BIPA as a promotional media for the Bau Nyale tradition; and (5) BIPA as a media for promoting regional languages (Bahasa Sasak), and BIPA as a media for diplomacy.
