Abstract

Israel's occupation of Palestine led to resistance by the Palestinian people from all over the country. This struggle is not only carried out by men but also women. In the Islamic perspective, women and men have the same position, there is no discrimination between them. This paper aims to explain the resistance of Palestinian women to Israeli occupation based on an Islamic perspective. The research used qualitative methods through literature study. The results of this research indicate that the Palestinian women's resistance emphasizes the equal position of men and women in Islam. Islam does not limit the roles and activities of women. In conflict situations, women are allowed to participate in war and also in politics. Resistance of Palestinian women to Israeli occupation is carried out in two ways, namely direct and indirect resistance. The direct resistance is carried out by Palestinian women through war and politics. Meanwhile, indirect resistance is carried out by providing education for children about the values of the Islamic struggle.

The research method used is descriptive qualitative method using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Index Mundi, International Trade Center (ITC), Observatory of Economic Complexity (OEC). The results showed that the EU has a motive (national interest) which is to develop the domestic vegetable oil industry of rapeseed oil (RSO), sunflower oil (SFO), and soybeen oil (SBO) in the Indonesian CPO export ban policy. The resolution issued by the EU against the Indonesian palm oil industry is a form of protection of these domestic vegetable oils.

Abstract

The issue of Islam in Indonesia's foreign policy is generally used as a tool to achieve political interests. At the beginning of independence, Arab countries were the main supporters of Indonesian independence. The rest of the time, the issue of Islam was also used by leaders as a tool to gain political support at the domestic level, as well as to reduce the pressure of public opinion. This article aims to look at the discourse and orientation of Indonesia's foreign policy regarding Islamic issues in the Jokowi era. Using a discourse analysis method, the article found that as a democratic country, the discourse that Indonesia has always built regarding Islam is a humanitarian issue. In addition, there is a transformation occurring that Islam has begun to be used to encourage economic cooperation and build the image of Indonesia's leadership among Muslim countries. Indonesia also began to move from using Islamic discourse only as a political tool, and now, it is used as an opportunity to build cooperation with the Muslim world.

Abstract

This study evaluated the operational effectiveness of the Fluidized Bed Dryer (FBD) machine in the traditional black tea drying process using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) framework, which includes availability, performance efficiency, and quality rate, as defined in ISO 22400-2:2014. Data collected from January to June 2023 indicated an average OEE of 83.66%. Although availability was consistently high (94–100%) and product quality maintained at 100% throughout the month, performance efficiency varied considerably, dropping to 69% in January and 66% in April, primarily due to operational delays and unstable machine utilization. These results indicate that performance efficiency was the main factor affecting OEE and total productivity. It recommends implementing condition-based maintenance procedures and real-time process monitoring systems to minimize unexpected downtime and enhance operational stability. Better regulation of input load, airflow, and drying temperature was crucial to ensure consistent performance and support product standardization in accordance with SNI 2891:2016, ultimately enhancing the competitiveness of the black tea processing industry.
