Abstract

Perkembangan media digital dalam konvergensi media era menciptakan sebuah budaya baru dalam proses penyebaran informasi, kehadiran media digital memungkinkan berbagi informasi dengan lebih mudah cepat dan luas tanpa batas ruang dan waktu. Fokus dalam penelitian ini menggali bagaimana strategi kreatif tim divisi news dalam memproduksi program d’mentor detikcom untuk meningkatkan minat audience youtube. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil analisis menemukan bagaimana proses yang dilakukan tim divisi news detikcom dalam meningkatkan minat audience melalui beberapa tahapan riset terhadap topik dan narasumber yang dipilihnya melalui analisis media mingguan, berupa data tren dan topik yang diminati audience detikcom, kemudian baru dirumuskan tema setiap konten mengikuti analisis media tren.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine how Jakartan Generation Z students utilize cross-platform social media and the dynamics of numerous identities and self-presentation techniques. Data was gathered through in-depth interviews with eight informants and social media account content analysis using a qualitative approach and case study methodology. Through the use of several accounts, content curating techniques, and the division of responsibilities between front and back stages, the results demonstrate that students actively control their digital identities. This occurrence demonstrates the applicability of Goffman's theory of dramaturgy in elucidating the performance of digital identities in relation to the audience and social milieu. There is a notable contrast between online and offline representations, as seen by the unique finding of one informant who portrayed himself as outgoing on social media but remained introverted in real life. According to the study's findings, Generation Z students' digital identities are strategic, dynamic, and reflective, with the goal of upholding both their public persona and their right to free speech. Opportunities for additional research to examine psychological and professional aspects in a wider context are presented by the study's limitations regarding the quantity and range of informants.

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis penggunaan identitas mahasiswa dalam media pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang diisi oleh 366 mahasiswa aktif Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof Dr Hamka dari berbagai angkatan yang merupakan pengguna media pembelajaran daring, baik media pembelajaran daring resmi dari kampus (Online Learning Uhamka, biasa disebut OLU) maupun media pembelajaran daring lain. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa dalam media pembelajaran daring resmi dari kampus mahasiswa memiliki kecenderungan lebih besar untuk menggunakan nama asli sebagai identitas, sementara dalam media pembelajaran daring yang bukan merupakan media pembelajaran daring resmi dari kampus kecenderungan untuk menggunakan nama asli lebih kecil, tetapi berbanding terbalik, pada penggunaan photo, penggunaan photo diri asli memiliki kecenderungan lebih kecil pada media pembelajaran resmi dari kampus dibanding media pembelajaran daring lain.

Abstract

Masyarakat Indonesia saat ini masih banyak yang minim informasi dalam memahami pentingnya kesehatan mental khususnya bagi gangguan mental Bipolar, berangkat dari permasalahan itulah terbentuknya komunitas Bipolarcare Indonesia (BCI). Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana strategi dukungan sosial yang diberikan BCI kepada penyandang Bipolar. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dan teori dukungan sosial yang di kemukakan oleh Daena Goldsmith. Teori dukungan sosial didalam penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dukungan yang diberikan BCI memberikan dampak hidup yang lebih berkualitas bagi anggota. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari informasi bentuk dukungan yang diberikan BCI kepada penyintas. Pendekatan yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. penelitian ini ialah BCI membentuk tahapan strategi komunikasi untuk menerapkan strategi dukungan sosial yang efektif bagi penyintas. Tahapan strategi BCI berbentuk pemilihan khalayak, tujuan program, strategi penyusunan pesan dan pemilihan media. BCI memberikan dukungan sosial berupa dukungan informasi edukasi, dukungan instrumental dan dukungan penghargaan. Dukungan ini disampaikan melalui kegiatan support peer group, postingan edukasi melalui sosial media, maupun dukungan antar anggota pada laman sosial media Facebook dan WhatsApp BCI.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab Fus’ha penting dalam pendidikan Islam dan komunikasi formal, sementara dialek ‘Ammiyah digunakan sehari-hari. Survei terhadap guru-guru PCM Matraman menunjukkan kebutuhan mendesak meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara Fus’ha secara cepat dan efektif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melatih 25 guru dari empat sekolah selama tiga bulan dengan metode praktik langsung: pengenalan fonetik, kosakata tematik, pembentukan kalimat, dan percakapan. Evaluasi dilakukan lewat diskusi dan tes tulis. Hasilnya, 80% peserta meningkat dalam membedakan kata, 70% mampu membuat kalimat tanya, dan 92% aktif berbicara. Peserta sangat antusias dan ingin lanjut ke tahap berikutnya. Program ini menunjuzkkan pentingnya pelatihan praktis bahasa Arab bagi guru serta perlunya kesinambungan agar hasil tetap terjaga.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how dramaturgy is in the self-presentation of smokers. The research method uses a qualitative with an interpretive approach. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observations, FGDs, and literature studies. Miles & Huberman interactive model data analysis technique. The results showed that smokers among teenagers almost entirely did dramaturgy where there was a difference in smoking behavior on the front stage and back stage. Smokers apply Goffman's self-presentation, for example on the back stage they smoke, but on the front stage when dealing with teachers/parents/leaders/employers/lover – they do not smoke. The self-presentation of an adult smoker who has fully demonstrated himself as a true smoker places himself on the front stage as well as the back stage, using self-promotional tactics and even exaggeration. However, smokers among teenagers, will make a disclaimer by trying to deny and hide their identity as a smoker if they are at home with their nuclear family, namely father-mother-brother-sister. However, on the back stage, the teen smokers both carried out a self promotion strategy as a technique for presenting themselves by opening themselves up, especially when hanging out with their high-frequency friends.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the background of women's participation in general and specifically, women who participate in electoral politics as legislative candidates. Using phenomenological methods, the study states that the backgrounds of women who are involved in electoral politics include following in the footsteps of other people who have already entered the world of politics, wanting women to play more roles, and being encouraged by other people. The participation of women in politics still mostly comes from external sources, rather than being purely driven by a desire to change women's conditions due to patriarchal relations in society. Meanwhile, the most common obstacles experienced by women in politics are the double burden of having to play both domestic and public roles, social and cultural inequality, and being underestimated as women. Regarding the communication strategy used by female legislative candidates, they stated that they communicate more with female prospective voters, explain programs related to women, children, and teenagers, and discuss issues related to women to attract votes. They believe that gender similarity helps them communicate effectively and achieve their political goals.

Abstract

Content about the environment in the media is the way to educate the community about how to protect the surrounding environment. Especially for areas that have tourism potential, without the support of awareness of maintaining environmental cleanliners will certainly reduce the interest of tourist area. This traning is carried out offline by providing material, discussion and question and answer. This training went wll without experiencing any problems, the training participans gave positive feedback if a similar training was held back in their area. For the next activity, more information about photography, videography or storytelling can be given which will help in creating environmental content.

Abstract

Behavioral deviations in the educational environment continue to increase and often adorn the news in various mass media. Actors and victims in this case involve children or adolescents. Adolescence is a period of Stress and Strain, in addition to the current era of communication and information technology which also makes it attached to social media. On this basis, this activity was carried out with the aim of being able to contribute to the understanding of deviations in adolescent behavior and the use of social media as a means of campaigning for the prevention of this, as well as an encouragement to create action in forming a means of handling and preventing violence in schools. The participants in this activity were IPM students of SMA Muhammadiyah 16 Jakarta. The training was conducted offline. This PkM material consists of; behavioral deviations, ranging from its forms to its impact on victims and the factors behind it to efforts that can be made to prevent and avoid it. Not only that, the PkM Team provided assistance to partners in making campaign materials regarding the prevention of behavioral deviations, especially in the school environment. This activity went well and smoothly, participants assessed that all material delivery could be understood, participants could also understand properly what behavioral deviations were and they were also motivated to be able to carry out behavioral deviation campaigns by utilizing medias.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the potentials that can move the economy and advance a region. When viewed in terms of geography, natural wealth and ethnic cultural wealth in the archipelago is very alarming if the tourism sector has not become a prima donna in improving the economy of its people. Some areas such as Bali, Lombok or Yogyakarta have been quite aggressive and good at maximizing the potential of their regions through various promotions either conventionally or using digital media. There is a tourist village in the Bogor area that already has a variety of potentials such as culinary and ethnic wealth but not many people know about it. Pulo geulis as a densely populated residential area located in Babakan Pasar Village. The service team is interested in seeing the potential of Pulo Geulis to increase promotion through social media which will ultimately help the local economy. By providing experts in the field of communication who are competent in providing internet-based media literacy is a solution to optimize the use of social media for promotional media. With good social media literacy, it will certainly make it easier for people to create a variety of promotional content for their area.
