Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada materi IPA “Energi dan Perubahannya”. Urgensi penelitian adalah kebutuhan model pembelajaran inovatif yang mendukung keterlibatan aktif siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis efektivitas model Discovery Learning berbantuan media eksperimen terhadap kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literature review dan kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design untuk menguatkan temuan. Hasil literature review menunjukkan bahwa Discovery Learning berbantuan media eksperimen mampu meningkatkan kreativitas, motivasi, dan hasil belajar siswa secara konsisten. Model ini juga mendorong siswa aktif mengeksplorasi dan memahami konsep secara mendalam. Simpulan, literature review medukung bahwa model ini efektif meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil belajar IPA siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Reading and writing literacy skills are important aspects in the academic development and daily activities of primary school students. This study aims to analyze the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method as an effort to improve students' reading and writing skills. The method used is a literature review by reviewing a number of recent studies in the last five years that are relevant. The results show that the CIRC method supports collaborative learning, integrates reading and writing activities, and builds meaningful social interactions between students in heterogeneous groups. The method has a positive impact on students' reading comprehension, writing skills, communication and critical thinking. The findings suggest that CIRC can be used effectively as a support strategy in literacy education at the primary school level.

Abstract

This research is a literature study that aims to examine the effect of gadget use on elementary school students' learning motivation. Gadgets, as part of technological advancement, have the potential to increase learning motivation if used appropriately, such as as interactive media and information sources. However, excessive and unsupervised use can reduce learning motivation, disrupt concentration and lead to addiction. This review analyzes five relevant scientific articles that show that the effects of gadgets are significant and influenced by the intensity of use, the type of content, and the role of parental and teacher supervision. Therefore, wise and collaborative gadget management is needed to support students' learning process optimally.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect of learning in elementary schools, especially in shaping the value of student independence. This study aims to analyze the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model in increasing the value of student independence in learning Pancasila Education class IV in elementary school. The problem raised is the lack of instilling the value of autonomy in students which can affect the student behavior. The method used in this research is a literature study by analyzing various relevant literature regarding the application of VCT in character education and Pancasila learning. The literature used includes journal articles and previous studies that discuss theories and best practices in increasing student independence through the VCT model. The results showed that the application of the VCT Model can strengthen students independence values through a value clarification process that involves students in understanding and decision-making. This study concludes that the VCT model has great potential in increasing student independence and can be adapted to learning Pancasila Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine various sources of literature that discuss the use of the TikTok application and its relationship to the social behavior of elementary school students, especially at the upper grade level. The approach used is a literature study, with data collection sourced from scientific journals, articles, books, and previous research results. The findings of the study indicate that the use of TikTok has two sides: providing benefits such as encouraging creativity and the ability to express oneself, but also causing risks such as addiction, reduced social empathy, and the emergence of consumptive behavior. Based on this, this study recommends the need for active involvement of parents and teachers in guiding children's use of social media.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research aims to improve science learning outcomes in cognitive aspects. This research uses experimental learning methods in class IV A SDN Empang Bahagia 1. The subjects in this study were class IV A students totaling 28 students in the 2024/2025 school year. The research was carried out using the cycle model of Kemmis and Mc. Tagart through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In cycle I, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 64.28% and had not yet reached the specified percentage of success. In cycle II, student learning outcomes showed a percentage of 85.71%. The teacher action monitoring instrument in cycle I was 87% which increased in cycle II which was 100%. The student action monitoring instrument in cycle I, 80%, increased in cycle II, 93%. The implication in this study is that the experimental learning method can be used as one of the learning methods to improve science learning outcomes in grade IV elementary school students. With the experimental method, students are able to understand the material of force well, analyze the theory of force in everyday life, actively discuss with their groups, be able to present the results of group discussions and be able to conclude learning activities that have taken place in class with direct guidance by the teacher.
