Abstract

Partner of this international collaboration of community service is RMIT University in Australia, Prof. Dr. Heather Fehring, to be invited to collaborate in giving socialization about effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to encourage development of elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  Location of this international collaboration of community service is in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  The target of this community service is elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia.  The problem with the target audiences is that the elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia to deal with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era has not been optimal.  In addition to this, the socialization of effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era for elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia has not been done before.  In order to develop elementary school teachers’ competences in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia in dealing with literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality, the solution is socialization of effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era for them.  The output targets to be achieved in this international collaboration of community service are pocket book, certificates, videos on YouTube, articles in journal of community service, publications in mass media, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), seminar, report.The methods used in conducting this international collaboration of community service are cooperative learning, problem-based learning, and giving assignments.  This socialization is conducted through video conferences in the form of learning activities to improve the competence in dealing with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality for elementary school teachers in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia. The socialization of virtual classroom given is related to technical guidelines of effective literacies assessment implementation in order to achieve optimal learning quality. This international collaboration of community service is conducted at elementary schools in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia because those elementary schools are regularly coached by Universitas Negeri Jakarta.  Evaluation of process and results is done to find out the competences of elementary school teachers in the province of Jakarta in Indonesia in dealing with effective literacies assessment in the covid-19 pandemic era to achieve optimal learning quality.  This international collaboration of community service is started with a pre-test about effective literacies assessment implementation to know the prior knowledge of target audiences about effective literacies assessment and ended with a post-test after socialization is completed to determine the success of implementing this activity.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk sosialisasi kepada guru-guru SMP di dalam menerapkan pendidikan lingkungan melalui animasi 2D dalam pembelajaran. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah guru-guru SMPN 30 dan SMPN 173 Jakarta Utara, dengan pertimbangan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi guru guru tersebut terkait dengan penerapan pendidikan lingkungan melalui animasi 2D dalam pembelajaran belum pernah dilakukan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan di Aula SMPN 30 pada tanggal 6 dan 7 Agustus 2020 yang dihadiri oleh 15 orang peserta. Peserta kegiatan ini dibatasi jumlahnya, dikarenakan adanya social distancing akibat pandemi Covid-19. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diberikan tentang materi pendidikan lingkungan melalui animasi 2D dalam pembelajaran melalui metode ceramah bervariasi, tanya jawab, diskusi interaktif, demontrasi, simulasi, dan pengisian kuesioner. Kemudian dilakukan analisis dan pembahasan mengenai cara mengintegrasikan pendidikan lingkungan melalui animasi 2D dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Hasil akhir kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan penguasaan guru mengenai pendidikan lingkungan melalui animasi 2D dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. ABSTRACT The purpose of this community service activity is to socialize junior high school teachers in implementing environmental education through 2D animation in learning. The target of this community service activity is the teachers of SMPN 30 and SMPN 173 North Jakarta, with the consideration that the teacher outreach activities related to the implementation of environmental education through 2D animation in learning have never been carried out. This method of implementing community service activities was carried out in the SMPN 30 Hall on August 6 and 7, 2020 which was attended by 15 participants. Participans in this activity were instructed, because of social distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In community service activities that are given about 2D animation environmental education material in learning through various lecture methods, question, and answer, interactive discussioan demonstration simulations and filling out questionnaires. Then an analysis and discussion is conducted on how to integrate 2D animation environtmental education into learning in schools. The end result of community service activities is the knowledge, understanding, and mastery of teachers regarding 2D animation environmental education in learning to form student’s environmental care characters.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this international collaboration of community service activity is to provide entrepreneurship education assistance for elementary school teacher groups. The implementation method used in this activity was carried out in a systematic, structured, and directed manner through interactive discussions, demonstrations, simulations, and filling out questionnaires. The learning system used assistance and guidance from partner mentors from Konstanz University of Applied Sciences in Germany, Prof. Dr. Christian von Luebke. After mentoring activities were completed, an evaluation was carried out to measure the effectiveness of the mentoring activities. This international collaboration of community service activity was carried out for 12 elementary school teachers in DKI Jakarta Province on July 12, 2021 for the first session about “entrepreneurship and education”, July 19, 2021 for the second session about “methods and tools for an entrepreneurial mindset”, and July 26 2021 for the third session about “realizing an entrepreneurial mindset” through the zoom platform. Based on the evaluation measurement, teachers' interest in entrepreneurship education reached 86.75% and they will implement entrepreneurship education for elementary school students to improve their creativity and critical thinking. The results of the satisfaction survey assessed from 16 aspects of the assessment of international collaboration of community service activity show that the average satisfaction level of participants was 94%. Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) kolaborasi internasional ini adalah untuk melakukan pendampingan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan untuk kelompok PkM guru sekolah dasar. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional ini dijalankan secara sistematis, terstruktur, dan terarah melalui diskusi interaktif, demonstrasi, simulasi, pengisian angket. Sistem pembelajaran dalam kegiatan PkM internasional ini menggunakan pendampingan dan bimbingan dari mentor mitra dari Konstanz University of Applied Sciences di Jerman, Prof. Dr. Christian von Luebke. Setelah kegiatan pendampingan selesai, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengukur efektivitas dari kegiatan pendampingan tersebut. Kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional ini dilakukan untuk 12 guru SD di Provinsi DKI Jakarta pada 12 Juli 2021 untuk sesi pertama tentang “kewirausahaan dan pendidikan”, 19 Juli 2021 untuk sesi kedua tentang “metode dan alat untuk pola pikir kewirausahaan”, dan 26 Juli 2021 untuk sesi ketiga tentang “mewujudkan pola pikir kewirausahaan” melalui platform zoom. Berdasarkan pengukuran evaluasi, minat guru terhadap pendidikan kewirausahaan mencapai 86,75% dan mereka akan menerapkan pendidikan kewirausahaan bagi siswa sekolah dasar untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan kemampuan berpikir kritis mereka. Hasil survey kepuasan yang dinilai dari 16 aspek penilaian kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat kepuasan peserta kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional sebesar 94 %.

Abstract

Abstract Empowerment of elementary school teachers in DKI Jakarta to improve assessment competence in literacy was carried out through community service activities in international collaboration with Professor Heather Fehring from RMIT University, Australia. The target of this activity is elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta who have problems in dealing with ineffective literacy assessments. In addition, solutions in the form of empowerment related to handling literacy assessments to achieve optimal learning quality have never been carried out. The method in implementing this activity used a cooperative learning approach and problem based learning. This activity will be held on May 31, July 2, and July 26, 2021 through the zoom platform related to the topics of purpose of literacy assessment, types of literacy assessment techniques, and implementation of literacy assessment techniques. The result of this activity is an increase in the competence of literacy assessment for elementary school teachers in DKI Jakarta. This international collaboration community service activity is expected to broaden international insight and improve the competence of literacy assessment for elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta. The results of the satisfaction survey assessed from 16 assessment aspects of the international collaboration in community service activities for 12 elementary school teachers in DKI Jakarta showed that the average satisfaction level of participants arrived at 96%. Abstrak Pemberdayaan guru sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penilaian literasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kolaborasi internasional dengan narasumber Professor Heather Fehring dari RMIT University, Australia. Target kegiatan ini adalah guru sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta yang memiliki permasalahan di dalam menangani penilaian literasi yang belum efektif. Disamping itu, solusi berupa pemberdayaan terkait dengan penanganan penilaian literasi untuk mencapaian kualitas pembelajaran yang optimal belum pernah dilakukan. Metode di dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan cooperatif learning dan problem based learning. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini pada Tanggal 31 Mei, 2 July, dan 26 Juli 2021 melalui platform zoom terkait topik tentang model pengajaran literasi yang efektif, tujuan penilaian literasi, dan teknik-teknik penilaian literasi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kompetensi penilaian literasi pada guru sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kolaborasi internasional ini diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan internasional dan meningkatkan kompetensi penilaian literasi pada guru sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta. Hasil survey kepuasan yang dinilai dari 16 aspek penilaian pada kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional yang dilaksanakan pada 12 guru sekolah dasar di DKI Jakarta menunjukkan rata-rata tingkat kepuasan peserta kegiatan PkM kolaborasi internasional sebesar 96 %.

Abstract

Professional teachers are required to have optimal competence in all matters relating to learning, including mastery of digital-based learning methods such as game-based learning in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0, so as to support classroom learning and be effective in delivering subject matter so that it is right on target, in order to achieve goals. predetermined learning. In order to improve teacher competence in the field of professional education for the transmission of teaching materials, socialization activities are needed for teachers to get to know game-based learning in DKI Jakarta. Abstract

International collaboration of community service is in the Province of Jakarta. The target of this community service is elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta in Indonesia. The problem with the target audiences is that the competences in applying innovative teaching of elementary school teachers in the Province of Jakarta has not been managed properly and their interests in implementing innovative teaching are still low. The socialization of applying innovative teaching given is related to developing the competences of applying innovative teaching to support primary school digitalization with appropriate learning activity programs, understanding the concepts of innovative teaching, school digitalization, and assessment of the competences of applying innovative teaching to measure the success of this community services. Evaluation of process and results is done to find out the competences of elementary school teachers in applying innovative teaching.

Abstract

This research is conducted by the many courtship behaviors of adolescents in the school environment and the dissatisfaction social sciences learning achievement. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of adolescent courtship behavior on social sciences achievement. The research method used is quantitative. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. The sample of this research was 32 respondents who were taken based on purposive sampling technique. The data processing used is simple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that the variables of courtship behavior partially and simultaneously had a negative and significant effect on the social sciences learning achievement variable. With the obtained results of the t test, t count -7.222 > t table -2.042 and sig. 0.000 < α 0.05. F count 52.152 > F table 4.15 and sig. 0.000 < α 0.05. R Square value shows a result of 63.5% indicating that the ability of the independent variable to explain the effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract

This study aims to test the readiness of teachers to implement the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta. Merdeka Curriculum is an innovative program that includes project-based learning, skills and character development, and a flexible curriculum structure. This study uses a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. Respondents to this study were teachers at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta, with the entire population (29 people) being the research sample. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, literature studies and documentation. A closed questionnaire with a checklist of answer choices was used as a research instrument. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis techniques, including descriptive statistics to present data in percentage form using a relative frequency distribution. The results showed that teachers at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta showed sufficient readiness in several aspects of the independent curriculum. Learning outcomes, indicators of success, and learning objectives are ready and can be implemented. The use and development of teaching tools, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, as well as the application of student-centered learning have also been carried out well. However, there are several aspects such as lesson planning and assessment that still need to be improved. In conclusion, the readiness of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMP Negeri 137 Jakarta is quite good in many aspects. However, there are still several aspects that need attention and improvement to ensure the implementation of effective learning and in accordance with the independent curriculum.
