Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to produce LKPD Mathematics fractional material using problem based learning models in grade IV SDN 48 Lubuklinggau, LKPD eligibility, student response to LKPD and teacher response to LKPD. This research is a development research (Reseach and Development) and addie model development model. The stages of research consist of five stages, namely analysis, design, develop, implementation and evaluation. This research is only carried out until the implementation stage, namely the validity test and reliability test. The instruments used in this study are the validity test questionnaire and the reliability test questionnaire. The validity test was conducted by 6 validators, namely 2 Material Experts, 2 Linguists and 2 Media Experts. Reliability test was conducted on 15 students of grade IV SDN 48 Lubuklinggau. Data Analysis using Aiken's V. Results of LKPD Mathematics feasibility test with PBL model by validators in terms of aspects, material feasibility, language presentation, and ballisticity feasibility, material feasibility obtained (0.78) with appropriate criteria, language eligibility results (0.81) with very feasible criteria and results of graphing eligibility (0.79). The results of the LKPD Mathematics field test with the PBL model, obtained good assessment by teachers and excellent by learners with decent criteria. It can be concluded that LKPD Mathematics fractional material using the PBL model in SDN 48 Lubuklinggau class IV is declared feasible.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the problems that often occur in learning mathematics at school is the difficulty of teachers in providing test instruments. This research aims to develop a valid and practicaly high-level thinking mathematics test instrument for senior high school students in the local context. The higher-order thinking levels that are the focus of this research are analysis, evaluation, and creativity. The type of research conducted is development research using a formative evaluation design. The research instrument consisted of validity sheets and practicality sheets. The validity of the test instrument was analyzed using the Aiken index. The practicality test was carried out in a small group tryout with the subject of the tenth grade of Senior High School in Bengkulu. The study results were high-level thinking math questions in the local context for the tenth grade that were valid and practical, consisting of 5 multiple choice questions with 2 levels of analysis, 2 questions for evaluation, 1 creative question, and 3 essay questions covering all three levels.

Abstract

Learning mathematics at the elementary school level requires media that can bridge students’ understanding of abstract material. Through the media, students can make mathematics material acceptable. This activity aims to improve the skills of teachers in using manipulative media in mathematics learning material measurement. This activity target is the teachers at State Elementary School Number 78 South Bengkulu with 15 teachers. The activity stages consist of three stages, preparation, training implementation, and evaluation. Teacher skills were observed using pedagogic tests and teacher response questionnaires. The result of this activity is the improvement of teacher skills, the average skill is 67.50 and the teacher's response is in the high category. This activity suggests that the teacher conveys mathematics material in class using media to bridge students in mastering concepts.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent learning curriculum in Indonesia is the government's effort to improve the quality of education. However, the crucial problem is the limited learning resources in schools relevant to curriculum requirements. So, teachers must be innovative in preparing resources for classroom learning by referring to the curriculum, one of which is using relevant context. This activity aims to provide teachers with insight and experience in preparing outdoor mathematics teaching materials based on local context. Partners in this activity are elementary school teacher working groups (KKG) in Kepahiang Regency. The method used in this activity is a training method through coercion. The activity stages consist of (1) the activity preparation stage, (2) the coordination and socialization stage, (3) the workshop stage, (4) the assignment and evaluation stage, and (5) the product distribution stage in the form of teaching materials. This activity was attended by 33 elementary school teachers in Kepahiang Regency. The results of this service activity are: (1) an increase in teacher understanding in preparing outdoor mathematics teaching materials based on local context, (2) increased motivation of participants in designing outdoor mathematics teaching materials based on local context, (3) the preparation of outdoor mathematics teaching materials for elementary school students in the Kepahiang context. The suggestion from this service activity is that teachers should be able to be innovative in building open materials using contexts that are familiar and close to students.
