Abstract

Seblak Jontor Bajojo is a business that sells soft, chewy textured food with a very spicy taste located at Jl. Dr. Moh. Hatta No. 80, Anduring, West Sumatra, Padang city. Seblak with a preparation consisting of various seafood noodle crackers and vegetables that have been boiled or doused with hot water because of the chewy texture, seblak will taste more delicious when eaten while it is still hot. The author conducted interviews and documentation and created a website aimed at increasing the sales appeal of Seblak Jontor Bajojo. Apart from that, through the website the information that has been created is provided in detail, complete, and can provide a more attractive appearance. The method used in collecting data is a qualitative method by conducting interviews and documentation. The author made a visit and made direct observations to Seblak Jontor Bajojo to obtain the necessary data related to the design. Abstract

Demokratisasi di Indonesia telah mengalami perkembangan signifikan sejak era reformasi tahun 1998, ditandai dengan pemilihan umum langsung, kebebasan pers, dan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam proses politik. Namun, proses ini juga membawa tantangan baru yang kompleks, salah satunya adalah menguatnya politik identitas dalam berbagai kontestasi politik, baik di tingkat nasional maupun lokal. Politik identitas merujuk pada praktik memanfaatkan identitas kelompok baik berdasarkan agama, suku, maupun budaya sebagai alat mobilisasi dan strategi elektoral. Fenomena ini sering kali digunakan untuk mendapatkan simpati pemilih dengan pendekatan yang eksklusif, yang pada akhirnya berpotensi menciptakan polarisasi dan fragmentasi sosial. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika politik identitas dalam konteks demokratisasi Indonesia kontemporer, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun demokrasi membuka ruang bagi partisipasi yang lebih luas dan kebebasan berekspresi, ia juga membuka celah bagi praktik-praktik politik yang eksploitatif terhadap identitas sosial. Oleh karena itu, perlu upaya konkret untuk mengelola keberagaman secara inklusif dan membangun sistem politik yang tidak hanya demokratis secara prosedural, tetapi juga substansial.

Abstract

This conceptual and comparative study examines the integration of multicultural values within Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an essential foundation for fostering inclusive, tolerant, and humanistic education. It aims to explore how the principles of multicultural education in Western thought correspond to and differ from the fundamental Islamic teachings derived from the Qur’an and Hadith. The discussion focuses on the compatibility between Western multicultural values such as equality, pluralism, and social justice and Islamic values of adl (justice), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and tawassuth (moderation). The study concludes that the integration of multicultural values into Islamic education should be carried out conceptually through curriculum development, pedagogical strategies, and moral exemplarity based on Qur’anic guidance and propethic and practice. This research uses a literature review method through searching national and international scientific journals, books on multicultural education theory, classical and contemporary PAI literature, and academic articles from 2015–2024. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive-comparative approach to identify conceptual similarities and differences between the two perspectives.
