Abstract

As a divine revelation, the Holy Quran essentially is the guidelines and instructions which guide human kind to achieve prosperity and happiness in the world and the Hereafter. However, in reality there are many Muslims who can not read the Holy Qur'an. Many factors are behind this; one of them is the use of method in teaching how to read and write Hijaiyah Letter (the Holy Quran.) This study aims to examine if there is any increase in ability to read and write Hijaiyah letters among students of Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati, Bandung after using Tamam method. This research is using quasi-experimental one group pretest posttest method. This study concluded that Tamam method is very systematic and effective in teaching how to read and write Hijaiyah letter where it shows the successful in increasing the ability of reading and writing Hijaiyah letters among students.

Abstract

The reality view of some Moslems today in regard to Sufism is conservative, old-fashioned or even something which is not comes from Islam. On the other hand, modern life which is characterized with materialism, rationalism, and hedonism not only brings positive value to development of science and technology but also negative effects to human being. Human life becomes empty and detached from spirituals values. Eventually, acts of worship (Ibadah) that Moslems perform merely just a ritual that does not impact positively to personal piety or society. Therefore, revitalization of Sufism is aimed to reinstate the importance of Sufism for Moslems life with understanding the nature of Sufism itself. The essence of Sufism is to present Allah in every aspects of life. Commencing with learn to love, then improving the quality of life by loving something which is the most entitled to be loved, which is Allah. At the same time the interpretation of Zuhud is going through by putting into effect on daily life as a way to get the best place in the Hereafter as well as Allah's approval.

Abstract

This study aims to see how millennial hijrah is represented in images and how men and women are represented in hijrah images. Feminist methodology is used with multimodal and gender as a tool of analysis. This is based on the assumption that a text in the study of critical discourse analysis is not to be value-free and has a specific ideological purpose. Data collection techniques by searching on google images with the keyword 'gambar hijrah'. The results showed that the majority of hijrah in the google image was represented by women. There are indications of the dominance of patriarchal ideology in millennial hijrah and gender inequality in women. In addition to patriarchal ideology, the struggle for the hegemony of signs and gender hegemony in the millennial hijrah cannot be separated from the textual reading of the al-Qur'an and al-Hadith.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to discuss the hadith of the Prophet (s) concerning the use of gold jewelry for men. This method is qualitative through takhrij approach and hadith syarah with chemical analysis. The result and discussion of this study is the danger of wearing gold for men. The conclusion of this study is takhrij and syarah hadith of the Prophet about the bad effects of wearing gold on men's health.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ï·º about the illegality of khamr. This research method is qualitative through the approach of takhrij and syarah hadith with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this study are about the dangers of consuming khamr because it contains chemicals that can be intoxicating and damaging to human health. The conclusion of this study is takhrij and syarah hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ï·º concerning the prohibition of consuming khamr and staying away from it in order to save lives which is an inevitability. This study recommends the development of food technology science regarding harmful content in khamr through the field of chemistry.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet. about the benefits of hot iron (Kay) in terms of health. This research method is qualitative through the takhrij and syarah hadith approaches with chemical analysis. The results and discussion of this study indicate that kay is a treatment or therapy by attaching hot iron to the wound area or to acupuncture points on the human body by considering the anatomy of the human body. This study concludes that using the kay treatment method is recommended to be the last treatment (there is no other treatment option), because the pain caused can trigger other diseases to enter the body, while the law of kay treatment varies depending on the situation and condition of the patient. itself so that the law can be permissible, makruh and even haram (prohibited).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad ï·º about how water and fire became the basis of the change of civilization. This research method is qualitative through the approach of takhrij and syarah hadith with the analysis of energy materials. The results and discussion of this research are to prove that the Prophet Muhammad ï·º once said that humans will be connected to water and fire, and evidenced by the presence of hydroelectric power plants which are the largest suppliers in the manufacture of electrical energy for life. This research concludes that the hadith about water and fire is of poor quality according to the takhrij of the hadith, but this hadith has a lot of support from other hadiths of authentic quality and the hadith syarah explains the basics of water and fire for the continuity of life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh istimewanya besi disebutkan dalam alQur’an dan dinyatakan bahwa besi memiliki kekuatan yang hebat. Dalam pemanfaatannya, ternyata besi memiliki kelemahan salah satunya adalah sifatnya yang mudah mengalami korosi. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggali tafsir ilmi dari ayat-ayat yang berkaitan dengan besi dan menganalisis bagaimana mengatasi korosi pada besi secara kimiawi. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan kajian laboratorium. Hasil penelitian selain terungkap realitas ilmiah bahwa besi ‘diturunkan’, juga terungkap kekuatan dan kehebatan besi yang melindungi makhluk bumi bersama nikel dengan perisai elektromagnetik. Hasil analisis kimia ditemukan bahwa senyawa 2,3-difenil-imidazo[1,2-a]piridin merupakan inhibitor campuran. Aktivitas inhibitor korosi senyawa 2,3-difenil-imidazo[1,2-a]piridin meningkat dengan naiknya konsentrasi inhibitor kemudian menurun kembali dan mencapai maksimum pada konsentrasi 8 ppm. Naiknya suhu dari 25-55ºC menyebabkan aktivitas inhibisi menurun sehingga efisiensi inhibisi maksimum konsentrasi 8 ppm terdapat pada suhu 25 ºC dengan efisiensi inhibisi 88,6%. Aktivitas inhibitor menunjukkan kesesuaian dengan isoterm Langmuir yaitu dengan membentuk lapisan monolayer pada permukaan baja.

Abstract

Plastik digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari karena dinilai murah dan praktis. Sifatnya yang sulit didegradasi oleh mikroorganisme menyebabkan plastik bertahan hingga bertahun- tahun dan akhirnya menimbulkan penimbunan sampah plastik. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini dibuat plastik yang terbuat dari bahan alam yaitu bioplastik yang ramah lingkungan dan tidak menimbulkan sampah. Bahan utama yang dipilih adalah pati garut (Maranta arundinacea L.) dan karagenan. Pada penelitian ini telah dibuat bioplastik dari pati garut, karagenan, CaCl2 dan gliserol. Bioplastik ini dibuat dengan memvariasikan konsentrasi CaCl2 yaitu 1%, 2%, dan 3% (b/v). Komposit dibuat dengan mencampurkan 25 ml CaCl2, 2,670 g pati, 1,335 g karagenan, 60 ml air dan 2,5 ml gliserol diaduk dan dipanaskan pada suhu 70-80 oC selama 1 jam. Lalu komposit di cetak dan di oven pada suhu 60o C selama 12 jam membentuk lembaran plastik. Ketiga sampel memiliki kuat tarik pada nilai 6,8-6,2 MPa, elongasi pada nilai 0,041-0,043 dan derajat swelling pada nilai 23,98-28,38%. Ketiga sampel memiliki ketebalan sekitar 0,1522-0,1512 mm.

Abstract

Kebutuhan bahan pembungkus makanan dan obat di Indonesia terus meningkat. Salah satu bahan pembungkus obat adalah cangkang kapsul. Cangkang kapsul berbahan dasar gelatin merupakan kapsul yang banyak digunakan. Perkembangan produk halal di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring banyaknya permintaan konsumen terhadap produk halal. Pada penelitian ini cangkang kapsul keras telah dibuat menggunakan pati garut (Maranta arundinacea L.) dan karagenan sebagai bahan utama. Ikat silang CaCl2 dan pemlatis sorbitol digunakan sebagai bahan penunjang. Karagenan yang digunakan adalah karagenan semi halus dari rumput laut merah jenis Eucheuma cottonii. Komposit dibuat dengan mencampurkan pati garut dan karagenan (2:1) serta sorbitol dengan memvariasikan konsentrasi CaCl2 (1-3%) yang dilarutkan dengan air disertai pengadukan dan pemanasan hingga homogen. Kemudian komposit dicetak menyerupai cangkang kapsul keras. Karakterisasi yang dilakukan terdiri dari uji mekanik, swelling, disintegrasi, dan spektra Infra-merah. Ketiga sampel cangkang kapsul memiliki derajat swelling pada nilai 34,19-38,59%, elongasi pada nilai 0,0332-0,0369, dan kuat tarik pada nilai 1,3647-1,2095 kN/m2. Cangkang kapsul 3% CaCl2 memiliki waktu hancur 15 menit 20 detik pada suhu 37 oC.
