Abstract

Small-scale salt production in Indonesia still faces classic problems such as dependence on weather, low productivity, and inconsistent quality. This situation has a direct impact on the low competitiveness and unstable income of salt farmers. This programme aims to empower the salt farming community in Pamekasan District, Madura, through the implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Crystalliser designed to monitor environmental parameters in real time, so that the crystallisation process can be controlled more efficiently and adaptively. The method used is community-based participatory research (CBPR), which emphasises active community involvement from the planning, testing, training, to evaluation stages. Implementation testing was carried out at the Pamekasan community salt ponds, while academic validation was conducted through the 2025 Science, Technology and Industry Convention (KSTI) at the Bandung Institute of Technology. Data was collected through participatory observation, interviews, questionnaires, and technical prototype testing. Analysis was conducted quantitatively using the paired sample t-test and qualitatively using the Miles & Huberman model. The results of the activity showed an increase in salt productivity of ±20%, an acceleration in crystallisation time of up to 25%, and an improvement in salt quality with an NaCl content of ≥97%. Community participation was quite high, with more than 70% of farmers able to operate the monitoring application independently. This programme has had a tangible impact in the form of a 15–20% increase in farmers' income while strengthening the community's independence in managing salt ponds. Thus, the application of the IoT-based Smart Crystallizer has proven to be effective as an appropriate technological innovation that meets the needs of traditional salt farmers. This programme contributes to the independence of the national salt industry in the Industry 4.0 era and opens up opportunities for replication in other salt centres in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of distributed computer networks, driven by cloud computing, IoT ecosystems, edge computing, and software-defined infrastructures, has increased cybersecurity complexity. The growing volume, velocity, and variety of network data challenge traditional security mechanisms that focus primarily on threat detection, often neglecting system resilience, adaptive response, and recovery. This study develops a resilience-oriented intelligent big data analytics framework integrating Artificial Intelegence (AI), big data processing, and distributed cybersecurity monitoring to strengthen resilience in modern digital environments. A qualitative approach was employed through systematic literature review, conceptual modeling, thematic synthesis, and comparative analysis of existing architectures. The framework consists of four interconnected layers: data acquisition and aggregation, big data processing, intelligent analytics, and adaptive response and recovery. It supports continuous monitoring, anomaly detection, threat prediction, automated mitigation, and recovery orchestration. Comparative analysis indicates that prior studies focus mainly on improving intrusion detection or machine learning techniques, providing limited attention to resilience dimensions such as adaptability, fault tolerance, recovery efficiency, and operational stability. In contrast, the proposed framework integrates intelligent analytics with scalable big data infrastructures and distributed security mechanisms to create a unified resilience-oriented cybersecurity ecosystem. Findings suggest that combining AI-driven analytics, distributed processing, and adaptive security orchestration provides a strategic foundation for enhancing cybersecurity resilience, supporting sustainable digital infrastructure development, and ensuring operational stability in increasingly complex and interconnected network environments.

Abstract

In the growing digital era, the application of technology in marketing is important to increase customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital marketing implementation and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at the Bandung Wholesale Centre. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive and analytical design. The population in this study were customers and merchants operating in the Bandung Wholesale Centre, with purposive sampling technique, involving 150 respondents (100 customers and 50 merchants). The location of this research was at the Bandung Wholesale Centre, and the research was conducted within a span of two months. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to describe the characteristics of respondents and multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that the application of AI-based digital marketing and customer satisfaction did not have a significant influence on customer loyalty. This finding indicates that price and product quality factors are more dominant in influencing customer loyalty in traditional wholesale centres. The implication of this study is that while technology can improve customer experience, grocery centre managers need to focus on basic aspects such as price and product quality to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara konsumen memperoleh informasi dan mengambil keputusan pembelian, termasuk pada produk fashion berbahan kulit. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh digital marketing, brand image, dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion berbahan kulit di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori dan metode survei cross-sectional. Data dikumpulkan pada Januari–Juni 2026 melalui kuesioner kepada 200 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden merupakan konsumen berusia minimal 17 tahun, berdomisili atau beraktivitas di Jabodetabek, pernah melihat promosi digital, serta pernah membeli produk fashion berbahan kulit. Data dianalisis menggunakan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling dengan SmartPLS versi 4.1.1.8. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digital marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0,327, sedangkan brand image berpengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan koefisien sebesar 0,872. Persepsi harga berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian dengan koefisien sebesar −0,217. Brand image menjadi variabel paling dominan dengan nilai effect size sebesar 0,753, diikuti digital marketing sebesar 0,255 dan persepsi harga sebesar 0,064. Nilai R-square sebesar 0,955 menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel mampu menjelaskan 95,5% variasi keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keputusan pembelian terutama ditentukan oleh kekuatan citra merek, didukung oleh efektivitas pemasaran digital dan penilaian konsumen terhadap harga. Pelaku usaha disarankan memperkuat reputasi merek, meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi digital, serta menetapkan harga yang sebanding dengan kualitas dan manfaat produk.

Abstract

Objective: Digital transformation in the financial sector provides strategic opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to improve efficiency, access to finance, and competitiveness. However, many MSMEs have not fully optimized these opportunities due to limited financial management capability and uneven adoption of financial technology. This study aims to analyze the effect of smart financial management strategies on MSME profitability, both directly and indirectly through financial technology adoption.Methodology: This study employed a quantitative explanatory research design. The population consisted of active MSMEs in West Java Province that had used at least one form of financial technology service. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, involving 200 MSME owners or managers as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.Findings: The results show that smart financial management strategies have a positive and significant effect on MSME profitability and financial technology adoption. Financial technology adoption also has a positive and significant effect on MSME profitability. Furthermore, financial technology adoption partially mediates the relationship between smart financial management strategies and MSME profitability. These findings indicate that financial management capability improves profitability not only through direct financial efficiency, but also by encouraging the effective adoption and utilization of digital financial services.Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of integrating internal financial management capability with financial technology adoption as a strategic approach to improving MSME profitability. Theoretically, this study contributes to the fintech and strategic financial management literature by integrating the Resource-Based View and the Technology Acceptance Model in explaining MSME performance. Practically, the findings suggest that MSME development programs should combine financial management training, digital financial literacy, and fintech adoption assistance to strengthen business sustainability and competitiveness.
