Abstract

This research aim to determine the analyze differences of mechanical properties of coconut peeler material at varying cooling rate. Basic material of coconut peeler in the research is spring steel car.The result of the experiment showed that without cooling treatment, the level is 382,972 N/𝑚𝑚2, for the care of cooling specimen at varying cooling rate, the highest level is 628,986 N/𝑚𝑚2. The largest impact level is about absorb 0,37 J/mm² which absorption energy around obtainable at the lowest cooling rate.Keywords : Coconut Peeler, Mechanical Properties, Conditioning Rate.

Abstract

This community service activity is the second of three years of village service assisted by the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering UNG which has started in 2020 and will end in 2022. The Department of Industrial Engineering carries out village development service activities in four different locations, one of which is Lopo Village. Batudaa Pantai District. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the potential of Lopo Village human resources through tune-up training for fishing boat propulsion engines (ketinting). The implementation of activities is divided into 3 stages, namely (1). Preparation stage, where surveys and problem identification are carried out. (2). The stages of program implementation are the provision of training materials and practices (3). Reporting and publication of service activities. The results obtained from this service activity are, after the tune-up training, the fishing communities participating in the training are able to tune up the ketinting machine that they use to earn a living independently without having to use professional staff which of course costs money.

Abstract

Kinerja karyawan merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan suatu organisasi maupun perusahaan. Dengan kinerja yang optimal dan sesuai prosedur maka akan diperoleh hasil yang optimal pula. Beban kerja yang terlalu berat atau terlalu ringan akan mengakibatkan terjadinya inefisiensi kerja. Beban kerja overload mengindikasikan bahwa jumlah pekerja yang dipekerjakan tidak sesuai dengan beban kerja yang diterima sehingga dapat menyebabkan kelelahan fisik maupun psikologis yang berakibat pada menurunnya produktivitas karena kelelahan bekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penentuan beban kerja menggunakan metode Full Time Equivalent (FTE) untuk dapat mengatasi penurunan produktivitas kerja. Untuk mendapatkan nilai FTE dari suatu proses kerja harus menggunakan perhitungan Work load Analisys dengan menggunakan persamaan total waktu aktivitas, Allowance, dan total waktu tersedia. Dari hasil penelitian ini di dapatkan hasil Work Load Analysis dalam menentukan beban kerja dan usulan jumlah karyawan yang ideal yakni ramp operator144% (usulan 2 orang), Operator Sterilizer 65% (usulan 1 orang), tippler operator 84% (usulan 1 orang) pressing operator 44% (usulan 1 orang), Clarification operator 86% (usulan 1 orang) dan karnel operator 69% (usulan 1 orang).
