Abstract

This research started from the researchers' anxiety about the spread of information in the mass media, both print and electronic at the national and international levels about the attitudes and acts of intolerance committed by a number of alumni of the Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School, Ngruki, Sukoharjo. In this study, researchers will focus on the PAI curriculum and learning content of religious tolerance at PPIM Ngruki. This method of this research uses a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, the object of this research is the curriculum and implementation of Islamic religious tolerance learning. PPIM Ngruki is a Salafi Islamic boarding school. In the implementation of learning, PPIM Ngruki has two orientations, namely hard line and soft line orientation. These two learning orientations at PPIM Ngruki work since 1972-2008. The lesson contains: religious inclusiveness, equality, respecting and respecting other religions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious tolerance education and the Islamic Religious Education curriculum containing religious tolerance at the Al Mukmin Islamic Boarding School (PPIM) of Ngruki. This research method uses a qualitative approach. While the data collection method used the method of documentation, participant observation, and in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed with a content analysis approach. This study found that PPIM Ngruki implemented religious tolerance education through two approaches, namely 1) integration of subjects, and 2) integration of learning outside the classroom. Religious tolerance material is integrated into subjects, namely Al-Qur’an Hadith, Akidah Akhlak, Fiqh, and History of Islamic Culture. Furthermore, religious tolerance material is taught outside the classroom through a program prepared by the Care Unit and Imaratu Syu’unit Thalabah (IST). The materials taught include tolerance, deliberation, neighborly etiquette, worship practices, and local culture, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and moral education. By teaching religious tolerance, students are embedded in an attitude of religious inclusiveness, having a view of equality and non-discrimination, understanding, and forming a religious Islamic boarding school environment. Thus, religious tolerance education implemented at PPIM Ngruki is part of the pesantren’s strategy to break some people’s negative stigma of being an intolerant pesantren. This study also shifted from a conservative orientation to an innovative moderate orientation.

Abstract

Research problems include student literacy and low character impact on learning outcomes, as well as the cultural value of local wisdom. The aim of the research is to describe and discover teacher learning leadership based on local wisdom culture, especially Pancasila Education, in growing the profile of Pancasila students. The research method uses qualitative. The research was carried out at public senior high school 5 and senior high school UII Yogyakarta in 2023. Research procedures include: (1) research grand tour; (2) data collection; (3) analysis; (4) results. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, documentation. The results of the research show that teacher leadership in learning to integrate the cultural values of Yogyakarta local wisdom is able to grow the profile of Pancasila students. Local wisdom cultural values include: (1) behavior; (2) cultural products; (3) artifacts; (3) customs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the tendency of people who have experienced apathy, individualism, and have lost their social sensitivity. Society is trapped in an attitude of prioritizing personal desires and disregarding the interests of others so that contemporary problems are born in today's society. Every individual should not only be concerned with the benefit of himself, while he mentions the problems that exist in his environment. This study will examine the terms of the Qur'an which are related to social intelligence. In this research, we will present a random interpretation of several verses of the Qur'an that are relevant to the theme of the discussion. The method used in this research is literature study with a thematic interpretation approach. The results of this study will reveal verses in the al-Qur'an that are relevant and related to social intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to explore information on the life of Haji Sulong in the field of Islamic Education, especially the renewal of educational institutions. As for the benefits of this research, apart from adding to the scientific literature in the field of history, it is also useful as a lesson for the current generation of Thai Muslims regarding Islamic education with the concept of Thai nationalism. In historical studies, it can be seen that he renewed traditional education into madrasas that the people in Patani could feel the benefits of even though in a short time because of the closure by the government.

Abstract

Pancasila is an important provision for the Indonesian nation in facing the effects of globalization. Pancasila in general can be accepted by all parties, especially the Indonesian nation which is plural, diverse, and can absorb new values that exist in society and can be beneficial for the survival of the nation's generation, especially the Special Region of Yogyakarta. and can be applied in everyday life. The values of Pancasila are the noble values of the Indonesian people. Through literature research, this study aims to identify and the importance of Pancasila Education. In conclusion, it needs regulatory strengthening from the government and consistency of teachers in Pancasila Education.

Abstract

Traditional Islamic religious education in Patani studies the yellow book in Javanese Malay without using the government system by holding recitations in mosques or in Islamic halls. Over time, the use of Jawi Malay has decreased. One Prathomsuksah in Panyasa Panare has tried to keep going in his education. Using qualitative ethnography, research is carried out to find out how the learning process works. Parental impressions were also investigated. The learning process with the Malay Jiwa book runs every day and includes several Islamic religious lessons. The learning is also practiced by visiting the homes of parents or students who are having difficulty holding yasinan. This has given parents a good response.

Abstract

This article is a report on community service funded by LPPM UCY 2023/2024. The background to this community service problem is that there are strong symptoms of widespread Islamic religious intolerance in DIY, where this is thought to have become endemic in formal Islamic educational institutions, both state and private, from PAUD to Higher Education. Therefore, this community service tries to: 1. Answer real problems in the field in the form of activities to strengthen religious moderation material with the hope that symptoms of religious intolerance do not spread in all directions without control. 2. This activity limits itself to providing assistance in strengthening religious moderation material at Taman Bocah Permata Hati Banyuraden, Gamping, Sleman. The method used in this activity is Focus Group Discussion (FGD) regarding: 1. Exploring the reality of PAI learning at this institution. 2. Explore problems that arise in learning and their practical implications. 3. Brain storming problem solving 4. Conclusion. The results of this community service can be reported as follows: the reality of PAI learning at Taman Bocah Permata Hati TPA does not yet see the importance of religious tolerance, the main goal of PAI is to build faith and devotion to Allah SWT, be loyal to the teachings of Islam and fight in the path of Allah SWT or jihad. sabilillah. Meanwhile other Islamic teachings such as; tasammuh, equality without discrimination is not considered important or has not become PAI's main need. The hope is that through PAI students will become tolerant in religion; flexible in relationships, non-discriminatory in his actions and equal in viewing fellow members of society. The birth of students who are moderate in religion must be supported by PAI teaching materials and teachers who are skilled in instilling the value of religious moderation in students. Therefore, there is a need for assistance and strengthening of religious moderation PAI teaching materials. Suggestions to managers to expand teachers' religious moderation perspectives, sending teachers to religious moderation training.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat siswa dalam memilih program studi di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan : Tujuan penelitian ini agar minat siswa dalam memilih program studi merupakan keputusan penting yang dapat memengaruhi jalur karier dan prestasi akademik mereka di masa depan. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei untuk mengumpulkan data dari 200 siswa di beberapa sekolah menengah atas yang berencana melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur variabel-variabel seperti pengaruh orang tua, teman, media sosial, minat pribadi, serta prospek kerja setelah lulus. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti dukungan orang tua dan prospek pekerjaan setelah lulus memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pemilihan program studi. Di sisi lain, minat pribadi dan rekomendasi teman juga berkontribusi pada keputusan tersebut, meskipun dengan pengaruh yang lebih kecil. Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa cenderung memilih program studi yang memiliki prospek pekerjaan yang baik dan sesuai dengan nilai serta minat pribadi mereka penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi perguruan tinggi untuk merancang program promosi dan informasi yang lebih sesuai dengan preferensi dan kebutuhan calon mahasiswa.

Abstract

A kind of learning assessments that has not been done by the teachers of Pakem Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Sleman, Special Province of Yogyakarta is authentic assessment. Therefore, training and workshop of authentic assessment were held for the six teachers of 1—6 grades. Before and after the training and workshop were held, the teachers were pretested and postested. The training and workshop were held in forms of lecturing, discussing and designing authentic assessment. Scores of the pretest and postest were analyzed with Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Ho is the training and workshop do not improve the teachers’ knowledge on authentic assessment. Ho is accepted if P-value < 0,05 with α = 0,05. Because of P-value < α, 0,00027 < 0,05, Ho is accepted. It concludes that the training and workshop do not improve the teachers’ knowledge on authentic assessment. It may be caused of limited durance of the training and workshop.
