Abstract

This study investigates (1) The influence of Individual Behavior TowardTeacher Performance in SMA 3 Medan; (2) The Influence of Group Behavior on Teacher Performance in SMA 3 Medan; (3) The Influence of team work on Teacher Performance in SMA 3 Medan; (4) the influence among Individual, Group and Team Work behavior toward Teacher Performance in SMA Negeri 3 Medan. The results of the study shows that (1) There is a positive and significant influence between X1 to Y 0.9%. It meant that if individual teacher's behavior is getting better in teaching, it will be followed by the increasing of teacher performance in doing their main tasks; (2) There is a positive and significant effect between X2 and Y 7.1%. It is meant that if the behavior of a teacher group in SMA Negeri 3 Medan gives a good example for students, teachers, and the school environment, it will be followed by the increasing of teacher performance in teaching learning process (3) there is a negative effect between X3 to Y -0.9%. It can be said that if the work team is good and solid it will not affect the improvement of teacher performance; (4) there is a positive and significant influence between X1, X2, and X3 together with Y, the correlation coefficient value is 0.303, R Square 0.092 and Adjusted R Square 0.057. It shows that the influence of X1, X2, and X3 to Y is 5.7% and the remaining 94.3% is influenced by other factors from variables not included in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa upaya meningkatkan kesehatan anak pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Aek Haruaya, khususnya peran ibu. Sebab, peran ibu adalah hal yang paling utama agar kesehatan pada anak tidak menurun. Hal ini dimaksudkan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesehatan anak di Desa Aek Haruaya, terutama pada masa Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan kajian dokumen. Selanjutnya, dianalisis menggunakan cara data reduction, display data, dan verification. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu dilakukan beberapa pencegahan dan penyuluhan kepada ibu-ibu di Desa Aek Haruaya. Hal pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan yaitu pertama, memberikan imunisasi kepada anak-anak usia batita dan di bawahnya. Bukan hanya itu saja, mahasiswa/i KKN juga melakukan beberapa penyuluhan seperti, cara mencuci tangan yang benar dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu-ibu tentang kaidah mencuci tangan, dengan harapan agar anak-anak tidak terjangkit diare dan mencegah masuknya virus ke dalam tubuh anak. Kedua membuat apotek hidup di sekitar pekarangan rumah yang kosong. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan peran ibu-ibu di Desa Aek Haruaya agar terwujud pola hidup sehat pada anak-anak.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dampak yang ditimbulkan pada siswa dalam memanfaatkan Aplikasi BETA sebagai media edukasi belajar dan menghafal doa-doa harian Islam. Studi penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian D&D. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas rendah. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data, reduksi data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hafalan doa-doa harian siswa meningkat dengan menggunakan Aplikasi BETA berbasis android. Keuntungan yang diperoleh siswa dengan memanfaatkan Aplikasi BETA untuk belajar dan menghafal doa-doa harian yaitu mengefektifkan waktu, warna-warni, banyak gambar, dan tokoh BETA sebagai ikonik Aplikasi BETA menarik. Kelebihan yang ditawarkan Aplikasi BETA antara lain media berbasis digital tidak terbatas ruang dan waktu, tidak perlu terhubung ke internet, serta tidak menghabisakan ruang memori gawai. Di samping kelebihan yang ditawarkan pada Aplikasi BETA, terdapat beberapa kelemahan yaitu Aplikasi BETA belum mendukung untuk Ios karena aplikasi ini ditujukan untuk pengguna android.

Abstract

Team teaching in Indonesia has been implemented and has an impact on student learning processes and success in learning. Team Teaching has an impact on education in Indonesia because applying this method in schools can help the success of the teaching process. This study aims to determine the application of the team teaching learning method to the learning outcomes of mathematics subjects. The method to be used is by experiment. The study was conducted on students of Class X. This study used two classes for the study of 75 students, class A as a control class with the lecture method and class B as an experimental class with the team teaching method, from the two methods used, researchers will see and compare the learning outcomes student. Based on the research obtained as follows: (1) both data are normal and homogeneous, (2) there are differences between students whose learning uses the team teaching method and the lecture method. The results showed that students whose learning activities used the team teaching method could improve learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

The problem of this research concerns: (1) whether there is a relationship between work culture and work commitment; (2) whether there is a relationship between communication climate with work commitment; and (3) whether there is a relationship between work culture and communication climate together with work commitment. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the relationship between work culture and work commitment; (2) the relationship between communication climate and work commitment; and (3) the relationship between work culture and communication climate together with work commitment. The research subjects were teachers of SMK Binjai City with a total sample of 133 people who were taken by referring to the Krejcie-Morgan table. This research method is a correlational type of quantitative research. The results showed that the average work commitment variable was 77.92 with a tendency level including moderate as many as 61 respondents. The average work culture count is 77.08 with a moderate level of tendency as many as 77 respondents. The average communication climate count is 79.80 with a moderate level of tendency as many as 57 respondents. Based on hypothesis testing, it can be concluded: (1) there is a significant relationship between work culture and work commitment of ry1.2 = 0.32 > rtable = 0.17 and tcount = 3.83 > ttable = 1.64; (2) there is a significant relationship between communication climate and work commitment of ry2.1 = 0.51 > rtable = 0.17 and tcount = 6.73 > ttable = 1.64; and (3) there is a significant relationship between work culture, communication climate and work commitment of Ry(12) = 0.63 > rtable = 0.17 and Fcount = 42.75 > Ftable = 3.23. Work culture and communication climate together contribute 39.7% to work commitment, and the rest is determined by other conditions. The results of this study conclude that work culture and communication climate have a relationship with work commitment. Thus, it can be said that increasing work commitment can be done by improving the work culture and communication climate in a better direction.

This study aims to determine the relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on the performance of teachers in Medan city madrasas at the basic education level. In data analysis, this study used quantitative methods using a correlational approach, measured using a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. This thesis uses a sample of 57 teachers in Madrasah Medan, Medan who were selected using the Slovin formula. The results of the study concluded that (1) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment to teacher performance, (2) there is a significant relationship between work motivation and teacher performance, and (3) there is a significant relationship between professional commitment and work motivation on teacher performance.

Abstract

The quality of a nation is largely determined by the quality of education. The process towards quality education requires professional educators in accordance with the code of ethics and the teaching profession. This study aims to analyze efforts to develop the competence of the teaching profession at the SD/MI level. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. Sources of data and materials for analysis of the study use scientific literature relevant to the topic of discussion, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study conclude that teacher competence is related to the authority to carry out their duties, in this case in using the field of study as learning material that acts as an educational tool, and pedagogical competence related to the teacher's function in paying attention to the behavior of students learning. Teacher competence is the result of a combination of abilities of many types, which can be in the form of a set of knowledge, skills and behaviors that must be possessed, internalized and mastered by teachers in carrying out their professional duties.

Abstract

Economic well-being is a latent problem for teachers in education, so the government is trying to program teacher certification. This study aims to analyze teacher certification as an effort to increase teacher involvement in educating students at the basic Islamic education level. As for this type of research, it includes a qualitative approach with library research methods. Sources of data and study analysis materials use scientific literature, including books, articles, seminar proceedings, and final assignments (thesis, thesis, dissertation). The data is obtained from credible sources such as Google Scholar and Sinta. The results of this study conclude that the implementation of teacher certification is expected to increase the ability of teachers which in turn has an impact on improving the quality of education in this country much better. The hope is that after certification, teachers should be able to fulfill the four elements as stated in the teacher and lecturer law article 10 and government regulations regarding national education standards article 28 namely pedagogic, character, professional and social competence.
